I bought this on the strength of the many positive reviews, so thanks everyone! My skin is normally pretty trouble free if I keep my routine simple, but I had TOTALLY wrecked it by using some products that were way too strong for my sensitive skin. I can't stress enough how bad it was - bright red, irritated, itchy, peeling, the works. This wonderful moisturiser was soothing from the first application and calmed everything right down faster than I'd ever hoped possible! Within just 2 days there was no sign at all of the horrendous state my skin had been in - miraculous! Another week or so down the line, my skin looks fabulous. It's plumped up and healthy looking. This cream is excellent, and I'll be sticking with it! One other thing I'd like to add is that my skin is quite sensitive to a lot of moisturisers, and there are many that cause it to breakout or burn - this one gave me absolutely NO problems whatsover. Love it! :D
Lipstick -Revlon - Renewist Lipcolor--Red Reinvented

If you spot this lipstick going for peanuts, grab it now! I found it online for £2 and stocked up :) Okay, sales pitch over, on with the review. I really really like this lipstick. I'm a bit of a red lipstick devotee, and this one is just so easy to pull off. It's a lovely bright tomato red (neutral, not blue, not brown), but it doesn't look "cheap" or "tacky". The finish is just right, not matte but not too shiny either. Glides on, won't last all day - it's not that type of finish, so I wouldn't expect it to - but it will give you a good few hours of gorgeousness before you need to reapply. I like the case. It's like the packaging of Shu Uemura lipsticks, being a clear plastic case, which makes it nice and easy to spot the colour you want (I have this lipstick in a few different shades, but this is my favourite). Somebody said they didn't like the fact that you had to line up the lid properly to get it to close, but I think that's great as it means you can't twist the lipstick up accidentally with the lid on and get that horrid squashed end. I can't think of any downsides to this lipstick, especially at the rock bottom price!
This is a great eyeliner! Easy to use and doesn't budge all day. A definite repurchase.
This is a great product. It is easy to use as it absorbs very quickly, leaving only a slight (fresh) fragrance. It makes my skin smooth and glowy. Would repurchase (actually I'm already on bottle number two).
Well, I wouldn't have thought I'd be reviewing this ;) I stumbled across this shower cream totally by accident, but I'm so glad I did! It cost £1.79 (if I remember correctly) for 250ml from Boots. It smells *very* like Kenzo's Amour, which is my "comforting" fragrance choice. I use it as a bubble bath as well as on my sponge, and by the time I leave the bathroom I feel all de-stressed and cosy. A spritz of Amour and off to bed happy! I make sure I always have a stock of this in the bathroom.
I have this lipstick in Baroque Red. It is a gorgeous, sophisticated deep red. I am a very pale skinned, blue eyed brunette, and this is the lipstick I reach for when I want that wonderful Snow White look. The texture is smooth. This lipstick doesn't dry out my lips, and it has only the very slightest scent (I suspect that the people who commented negatively on those two points may have bought old stock). Yes, I'd buy it again.
UK GIRLS HEADS UP! Having searched high and low for this product over here, I finally found a stockist! Don't spend mega money getting this shipped over from the US, I buy online from malikstores.co.uk. It's £3.61 for a 225g tube. Hope this helps more of us get hold of this fabulous mask! :D (this is not an ad, just helping my fellow UKers out:))
This started off well.... The colour was exactly what I wanted (medium brown) and the conditioner left my hair soft and silky. BUT, it faded so fast! After 2 weeks it just looked terrible. I had thought this was going to end my search for a HG home colourant, but sadly not.
Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict High Shine: Runway Red #750

Firstly, I think that the name of this lipstick shade is very misleading. Though its called "Runway Red", it isn't what I would call a red lipstick. It's actually a berry toned pink. I love this lipstick! On me it gives just enough pop of colour to wake up my ultra pale face, yet is very fresh, youthful and natural. A definite repurchase.
I bought this product based on the number of positive and rave reviews it gets here. Well, I was extremely disappointed. Its ugly and the handle is slippery - I cut myself every time using this and I never normally get cuts at all! I get a closer shave with my standard Venus. Definitely wouldn't buy again!

This product is total rubbish! If you can't think of a better way to spend a couple of HOURS, and you also long to have an aching arm, go ahead and try it. As good as useless!!!
This is a great blush! Very pretty, youthful, natural pink. Looks a little strong in the pan as I'm extremely pale, but works perfectly on my skin. A little goes a long way on me, so it lasts forever! I think it would work for those who are more medium toned too as its very buildable. Lovely finish, not chalky, no sparkle. A definite repurchase. Love it!
I really like this blush a lot! I'm as pale as it's possible to be and this looks really pretty on me. Cute packaging as always with BeneFit - though I threw the brush straight in the bin!
I love this product!!! I'm ultra ultra pale and this puts back the pretty, natural, youthful flush that time has robbed me of! It's also MUCH easier to blend than Benetint as it almost has a gel texture. I'd recommend this for all pale girls that found Benetint a tad too much. Definitely a repurchase :-)
Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Leighton Denny - Just Perfect
tallulah_starr 8/10/2009 6:05:00 PM
This is a great pink nail polish. I have it on my toes as I write! It's not a baby pink, nor is it a vibrant, hot pink..it's a kind of bubblegum but deeper, slightly coral colour that suits my ultra pale skin beautifully. Leighton Denny called this colour Just Perfect because he says it is "the perfect pink", and for me, he might just be right :o)
