Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in Fairest Nude

So I've already wrote a mini review on this while bashing another lipstick *ahem* (revlon-nude attitude lipstick) and I must say I love Loreal's Fairest Nude. First a little background about my lips. I wear chapstick everyday, but my lips still get dry at times. My lips are quite pigmented, and apparently look like they have lip liner according to a MUA. I would say they are a darker pinkish color with a hint of purple/brown. They are not super dark, but darker than I'd like. This is the 2nd lipstick I've ever bought and I LOVE it! Its perfect for me--the color, the texture... not sure about the staying power just yet but its not incredibly far from my lip color to tell if its wearing off. I've been searching for a good nude/natural lip color and this is perfect. This is more of a natural then it is a nude for me (I think nude as blending in almost identically with the skin tone). I'm not sure about fair skin tones, but this is a great nude/natural on medium to medium dark skin tones. I guess from reading some of the reviews below, some fair skin toned girls like this color, but some say its too dark. This is great for people with dark lips that want to make there lips a little lighter. It also doesn't dry my lips so that's another + for this Loreal lipstick! Unfortunately I dont have lipsticks to compare it with other than the crappy revlon, but loreal's fairest nude will definitely remain in my collection as a go to lipstick.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick - Nude Attitude

First a little background about my lips. I wear chapstick everyday, but my lips still get dry at times. My lips are quite pigmented, and apparently look like they have lip liner according to a MUA. I would say they are a darker pinkish with a hint of purple/brown. They are not super dark, but darker than I'd like. Well... this is honestly the worst product I put on my lips (though it is my first lipstick ever). Color is alright, but the texture is horrible! It dried out my lips and made any cracks more evident. Even with chapstick underneath or lipgloss over, it still looked very heavy on my lips. Maybe if I can somehow dab some with a lip brush and mix with something...... not sure.. I will have to experiment. Or maybe this product is best for people with naturally moisturized lips. I am, however, in love with my 2nd lipstick purchase which is Loreal Fairest Nude lipstick. Maybe this color isnt a good comparison to nude attitude because they are totally different, but I've just been searching for a good nude/natural lip color and this is perfect. I'm not sure about fair skin tones, but this is a great nude/natural on medium to medium dark skin tones. This is also great for people with dark lips that want to make there lips a little lighter. It also doesn't dry my lips so another + for Loreal lipstick! I guess I should write a review for that product specifically.. Anyways, as for Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick.. i will not repurchase.

Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser and Makeup Remover With Cucumber Extract

Absolutely LOVE this product. This is the first product I've used from Ponds and I'm so happy I've come across it. The scent is light but refreshing (I love the cucumber scent). Nothing has removed my makeup and cleansed my face as well as this has. I've used cleansers or makeup removers from shiseido, estee lauder, and some japanese brands to name a few, and to my surprise, ponds (being the cheapest at around $8?) did the best job. My face feels cleansed, refreshed, and slightly moisturized without leaving it oily. I HIGHLY suggest this product. As I've read, Ponds comes out with and discontinues products often to meet demand, so go purchase it asap so it can stay in the market!

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I usually go on this site just to find products, but I like this foundation so much that I thought it was worth being my first review. First off, the color is blends in really well with my skin, which is a first for me (color 153). I've used plenty of foundations from mac to smashbox to estee lauder.. and the list goes on. Its a must to use a moisturizer or primer first, or else I believe the foundation will look streaky. I use this product with a sponge and it blends pretty well. I agree--using a foundation brush looks pretty horrible as the brush tends to leave streaks and the foundation stays on the bristles. The coverage is pretty great (medium/full coverage) and is by far best foundation that has covered my acne scars. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of five is because i broke out JUST a little bit.. It's not too bad but I think it could possibly be from the lack of sleep. Well my best suggestion is to try a sample! And by the way, I payed $40, not $70 as i read some reviewers had payed. $40 is still a little expensive, but to me, its worth it!
