This has been my signature scent since 2002 and I always get compliments on this scent. It's a bit strong when you first put it on but dries to a nice, light scent that is not at all overpowering. It's a very lady-like scent. I actually just ran out of mine and will be buying another bottle.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette
rated 4 of 5
swtladyy 12/5/2011 7:59:00 PM

I just got this today and this review is just based off of my initial impressions. The shadows are buttery as I have come to expect from Urban Decay. They were all very pigmented and very easy to swatch, with the exception of Tease, which didn't swatch as easily as the rest, but it was still good. Pistol and Verve were amazing! I wish that Half-Baked wasn't in the palette, I mean that was already in the first one, although it is one of my favorite gold shadow. The packaging seems more sturdy than the previous palette. The gloss was okay, and I actually do like the double-ended brush it came with. I already had the flat stiff brush from the first palette, but the crease/blending brush was a nice addition. I probably could have waited for the next release of this palette instead of jumping the gun and buying it asap, but I was afraid I would be waiting forever to get my hands on it just like I did with the first palette. Overall, I think this is a lovely palette, great if you love neutrals. It's good on it's own if you didn't get the first one, but for those of us who are addicted, having both isn't so bad either =)

Palettes -Urban Decay - 15 year anniversary palette
rated 5 of 5

I just got this in yesterday and i just had to play with it as soon as I got home from work. This is my second UD palette (Naked being the first) and I must say that I was not at all disappointed. Overall the eyeshadows are of great quality and are nice and buttery. The one color that didn't seem to have good payoff was Tainted. It took me a few swipes to get the color to really show. Midnight Rodeo was a little chunky with glitter, but it's not too big of a deal as there wasn't that much fallout from it. I think Chase is a great e/s. It is the most buttery of all of the shadows in this palette. I also LOVE MIA for the gorgeous color. The one thing I did not like was that the packaging holds your fingerprints. I had to keep wiping it down to keep it clean. I do love, however, the fact that you can turn the packaging into a jewelry box once you are done with the shadows. Overall, I'm glad I got this palette!

Lotions/ Creams -Ahava - Mineral Hand Cream
rated 5 of 5

I got a sample size of this from Birchbox and I was pretty skeptical, but once I tried it I was sold! It is easily absorbed into the skin and it leaves your hands so nice and velvety. I like that the scent is very soft and not overpowering. I think that the price for a full size ($20!!!) is a bit steep though and that's what has held me back from purchasing the full sized version, although I may just suck it up and buy it once I'm out of my sample. Definitely a great product!

Blush -TheBalm - Hot Mama
rated 5 of 5

So I had been eyeing this blush for some time now and every time I went in to my local Sephora to buy it, they were always out of it. However, my co-worker gave me this from her collection as she no longer uses it since she bought a similar discontinued shade by Smashbox. I must say that I LOVE this blush. It's nice and creamy and goes on smoothly. It gives your face a nice, natural-looking glow. Glad that my co-worker gave it to me. I will most definitely buy this again when I run out! I might even buy this for my mom as she's a blush junkie too!

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Eskinol - Naturals - Facial Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
swtladyy 5/16/2011 5:13:00 PM

My mom used this as a teen in the Philippines and she introduced it to me when I was a teenager as well. I bet when I have kids I'll be introducing this to my future daughter as well. I actually picked some up yesterday as I ran out of my HG toner (Mario Badescu Cucumber Cleansing Lotion) and needed a quick fix. I usually use this toner during the summer months as that is when my skin is at its oiliest. This toner is great for oily skin or normal/oily combo skin. It gets all the grime and oil off your face. It definitely lightens any dark spots you may have with continued use. My favorite one is the papaya, but I also sometimes buy the avocado, cucumber or calamansi varieties. I tend to stay away from the lemon one as it seems to me that it has the highest alcohol content and is the most drying on my skin. This is a great find if you have an Asian store near you. It's cheap and it works!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Fifth Avenue Fuchsia
rated 5 of 5
swtladyy 5/16/2011 5:00:00 PM

I went to CVS yesterday intending to just grab cash from the atm and let my boyfriend grab an energy drink. Well, I ended up walking over to the cosmetics section and started looking for a bright pink lipstick since I've been wanting Candy Yum Yum, but was one of the unlucky ones who wasn't able to buy it before it sold out. Anyway, I LOVE this lipstick. It's not as light and bright as Candy Yum Yum, but this is a great blue-based pink. It's nice and bright, perfect for spring and summer. The texture of the lipstick is nice and creamy. It goes on smoothly and didn't dry out my lips. LOVE IT!! Will definitely buy again when I run out and I'll probably go and pick up some more colors!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Likas Papaya Soap
rated 5 of 5
swtladyy 5/6/2011 7:24:00 PM

I'm Filipino and this soap is pretty much a staple for Filipino women. I started using this when I was in college to even out my skin tone. My friend's mom had some and she encouraged us to try it saying it'll lighten up our skin and help with our pimples. I decided to try it then and have been using it ever since. The soap is creamy and lathers really well. It does lighten your skin, but it does take a few weeks for you to notice the results. Like everyone has been saying, make sure to moisturize after use as this product is quite drying, even if you have oily skin. I've tried other papaya and whitening soaps out there and this one has to be one of the best. If this is too drying for you, you may want to try the CY Gabriel Papaya soap also found in Asian markets. It works the same way (it lightens your skin faster actually), but isn't quite as drying. All in all, I will keep going back to this soap whenever I want to lighten my tan.

Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder
rated 4 of 5
swtladyy 4/27/2011 7:45:00 PM

I love using this rice powder as my setting powder. It gives my face a nice matte finish and makes my makeup look flawless. It keeps my skin from getting oily and shiny. The puff that comes with isn't all that great, but it's not like the majority of us use those anyway, right? The packaging could use a little tweaking as it does get a little messy and since it's mostly a board-type material, it's pretty fragile. However, I would buy this product again just because it's such a good setting powder!

Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Highlighting Brush
rated 4 of 5
swtladyy 4/27/2011 7:35:00 PM

I bought this brush because I needed a stippling brush and didn't want to fork up the cash for the MAC 187 and this brush got pretty good reviews. I think that it works fairly well, but it does shed. Sometimes I find stray hairs on my face which gets fairly annoying. However, it doesn't shed so much that it would deter me from buying this product again. I do think that the brush hair aren't dense enough for foundation, but I will continue using as such until I can buy myself a MAC 187. Once I get that 187, i'll use this brush for highlighting which is what it was meant for. Packaging sucks because people can just open it and use it. One of the brushes at Target was already opened and was extremely dirty as if someone had tried to use it at the store. Definitely not sanitary!

Primer/ Corrector -Avon - MagiX Face Perfector
rated 5 of 5
swtladyy 4/25/2011 7:01:00 PM

This is an amazing primer. It smooths out my skin and makes my face look really smooth and my pores less visible. I often wear this alone without any foundation and my skin still looks good. I've actually run out, but will be purchasing some more. The price of this primer also cannot be beat!

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation
rated 2 of 5
swtladyy 4/25/2011 1:34:00 PM

I was really excited to try out this product because it had a perfect match to my skin tone. The product blended nicely into my skin just like it claimed to do, especially with a stippling brush. HOWEVER, the product does not stay on (roughly four or five hours with a primer). I liked the coverage, it was natural looking and cancelled out any redness on my face. Major drawback for me was that it broke me out. Mind you i'm not really oily, but I do have normal/combo skin. I still have pimples from using the product. I wouldn't buy this product again unless they changed their formula so that it doesn't break me out. Too bad I broke out from it cuz 310 was a perfect match for my skin tone.

Primer/ Corrector -Make Up For Ever - HD Microperfecting Primer in 0 Neutral
rated 4 of 5
swtladyy 4/25/2011 1:30:00 PM

I bought this product three weeks ago when I lost my bottle of BE Prime Time. I like this better than Prime Time because it doesn't make my skin oily. However, I feel like Prime Time smooth out my skin more than this primer. I do like the smell of the primer and it does make my foundation stay on longer, even if it is a drugstore brand. All in all, I would purchase this primer again (would buy it over BE Prime Time).

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
swtladyy 4/4/2011 4:39:00 PM

This was the first EOS lip balm that I bought. I LOVE it. It smells very refreshing and was great at moisturizing my lips. As long as I resisted the urge to lick my lips, this balm did stay on for a few hours. Packaging is a bit bulky, but it sure is cute. I bought summer fruit after this and I didn't think it was as good this one. So, as soon as my summer fruit one is finished, I will go out and buy this one again.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit

This product wasn't that great, but after trying the lemon one, I wasn't that sold on this version. I feel that it's not as moisturizing as the lemon one and doesn't last as long.
