Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F80 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki (was SS197)

This brush is very soft. I use it mainly to apply my MAC foundation. It is so easy to apply, and leaves a flawless finish. I bought the 5-brush synthetic set, and this is the only one that I really use on a daily basis. Would definitely buy again.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I was hesitant to try this foundation at first due to the poor reviews on MUA, but I had already tried several drug store foundations to no avail. I have a very yellow/olive skin tone (southeast/oriental asian mix), and I really like the yellow content in the MAC NC30/NC35. Being in Cnaada, it is difficult to find Asian-friendly foundations at drug stores, but I found that L'oreal's true match worked best on my skin. It is the closest match (not perfect), so I try to mix it in with my MAC NC42 foundation that was left over from the summer time when I was much more tanned. I love the results!! It isn't too oily, and lasts all day as long as I don't touch my face :) It is a light to medium coverage, and is perfect for me. It is lighter than the MAC studio fix foundation, but evens out my skin tone, and doesn't break me out. It has a sort of matte finish. For comparison, I also use the Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation in 202 Nude, but I feel that the L'Oreal True Match has more yellow undertones and is the closer match. Will definitely purchase again.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

It works just as well as the MAC Black Track gel eyeliner. It lasts all day, and doesn't really smudge. The only downside is that it is a little less "black", so sometimes I have to go over it twice. The brush that comes with it works well. I have a separate gel liner brush, but occasionally I use the stock brush too, and the results are just as good. Mine is relatively new, so it hasn't dried up yet (like my MAC Black Track), so I can't comment on that. THis is currently my go-to gel liner.
I first bought this brush back in 2010, and I fell in love! It was only $3, and worked very well both for applying powders or as a stippling brush. It was my daily go-to brush. Fast forward a year and a half - I went back and ordered 2 more last year. Given that I live in Canada, I have no choice but to order online, so I don't get to "see" what I'm getting. I was very disappointed when they arrived. The quality of the brushes I received were sub par, and it felt like the bristles were very sparse. It was nothing like the first brush that I had purchased in 2010. I gave these new brushes a chance, and it simply did not pick up any product (powder), nor did it blend well (liquid). It's always a gamble when ordering E.L.F. products; It would be great if they had some more consistency with the quality of their products.
The colours are very nice, and mostly pigmented. This is very high quality eye shadow. The down side is that no matter how careful I am, I always end up with a sparkly face (it shouldn't be this hard to avoid getting eye shadow on your face). I probably wouldn't buy this again, mainly because its very sparkly and not that appropriate for every day wear.
This is by far one of the best eyebrow filler I've ever used (I prefer this even over Smashbox's Brow Tech). This one is very affordable, and works. It blends into my eyebrows perfectly, and stays put all day/night, and doesn't look too "powdery" when I'm done. It gives a great, natural look. I have this in the darkest shade to match my dark Asian hair.
The Colossal is slightly better than the Volum' Express Falsies, although I personally don't feel like it is anything special. It is comparable to lower grade of Cover Girl LashBlast. The packaging makes it look cheap, and the brush is not all that great. You can probably put two coats of this on, before it starts clumping up your eyelashes. Not good for Asian eyelashes. Certainly would not buy again.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

Bought this product along with the Volum' Express Colossal mascara. Of the two, I prefer the Colossal more, but would choose CoverGirl's LashBlast over both these products any day. For starters, the container feels cheap and almost childish, and the brushes aren't the best. It's really hard to build up the product for longer lashes, especially with my Asian eyelashes. I will probably only use these mascaras if I run out my other, better, mascara. Overall, I would not purchase neither of these again.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil Free Moisture - SPF 15

I bought this because it was cheap, and packaged nicely. I needed something to replace my Biotherm face cream since it was too expensive. Thought Neutrogena was a good brand, although I've never used drug store brands before. This was the biggest mistake ever. I never break out, and rarely get any pimples, but this stuff made me break out, with bumps all over my face! It also makes my face look very shiny, and smells like sunscreen. Doesn't work well under makeup either. I thought it was oil-free, but I feel so oily after using it. Definitely will not buy again.
