I tried this out after reading all the great reviews for it. However, it just really didn't work for my oily skin. When I tried some on in the store, it looked great and I thought it'd be a winner. I normally don't spend this much on foundation, but I thought this would be worth it. The coverage was pretty good, but it just left my face really greasy after only a few hours. It does give a nice natural, non-cakey look, but the lasting power is sub-par...and I just hated how greasy it was on my skin. This would probably work great for people with normal or dry skin, but for my oily skin, it's definitely a no-go.
THIS IS GREAT. I picked this up on a whim once I finally got to visit a PRO store. I wanted to buy something but nothing else really caught my eye so I decided to give this a try. It's AMAZING. It minimizes my pores and smooths my skin. The best thing about it is that it CONTROLS OIL really effectively! Better than any other product I've ever tried. It never looks chalky and just has a great effect. So glad I bought this. A little goes a long way, so I definitely think it'll take years for me to finish this jar.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Matte Eyeshadow in Vintage Lace

This is a good shadow. I use it everyday as my highlight. It is pretty pigmented and the color is great and very natural. However, there can be a lot of fallout with this one. It's kind of chalky, and lasting power isn't good. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose and I'll continue to use it til it's gone (which will take a looongggg time). I've been using this daily for over a year now and still is not even CLOSE at all to hitting pan. It's a nice shadow, but honestly, there are better ones out there that are less chalky and lasts longer. Try wet n wild's single shadow "brule."
This has been my first liquid eyeliner, and I'm not impressed. While it is very smooth and very black, it FLAKES on me! I can put it on, and part of it just flakes off, leaving gaps in my eyeliner! It looks ridiculous and can happen 1 minute after putting it on, or a few hours into it, depends. I just can't deal with the idea of having gaps in my line. Definitely won't repurchase.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure in Hidden Treasure

I've been wanting this for as long as I've heard about it, and had given up on finding it, but today I stopped by a Walgreens a little further from where I live and lo and behold, it was there! I was so surprised and grabbed it right away. It was a little expensive relative to what I usually like to pay for nail polishes but I couldn't pass this up. I tried it on as soon as I got in the car and I'm in love! It's exactly what I hoped it would be. It gives an amazing irridescent glow to my nails and I can see myself running out of this! (which is really hard for me regarding nail polishes) I just want to put this on top of everything! I'm sooo happy I found it and really hope something similar comes out by the time I'm out. I know there's the Nubar one, but I'm hoping for something more accessible as I hate paying for shipping.
I got this as a BzzAgent and I was so excited because I was about to buy it myself. I loved the original LashBlast and had heard reviews of it being even better. My first impressions were less than great. It gave a very natural effect. It did lengthen some, but left more to be desired in the volume department. After layering some, it did look a little better, but still didn't seem dramatic enough for me. Although, I will say that I had a similar experience with the original Lash Blast when I first started using it, so maybe it just needs some time for the formula to thicken up a bit. We'll see...I'll update if I notice any changes.
This little bottle is amazing! I got the first one as a gift from someone, and I've repurchased twice since. This works amazingly! Whenever I start breaking out (usually in patches), I put this on all over in a thin layer and it definitely calms it down. It's my go-to product. I will continue repurchasing this, and I'm starting to learn that a little goes a long way, so the price isn't too much of a put off.
I'm almost through with my 2nd pencil and I like it quite a bit, but I'm still on the hunt for a better brow pencil. I have this in taupe and the color is great (a little ashy in some lightings) even though i have black hair and brows. I like the waxiness of it b/c it helps keep my brows in place. The cap it comes with broke easily, so I put another cap on it (from my rimmel brow pencil). The only problem i have with this is that it's not very long-lasting. I touch my face a lot and it always rubs off. I will probably repurchase this just because it's cheap and works well, but I can't say I'm completely satisfied.
I bought this because I was hoping the lift side could be a dupe of Benefit EyeBright. I now have EyeBright and they're somewhat similar. Eyebright is lighter and not as sticky. Anyway, onto the review for this. I like the lift side, it's great to brighten up under my brows. It is a bit sticky though, but I think that's good to act as a base for your highlight. The fill side...is way too creamy. I have to be very careful when using this, and I find that if you don't set it with a powder or gel, it's definitely going to rub off. The packaging...I'm not very fond of this. The sharpener lid is terrible and nicks the product, so I took the lid off of my other e.l.f concealer and put it on both sides. It's okay this way but I can't tell which side is which! Overall, this is good for light travel, but there are better brow products out there.
This is probably my favorite brush ever! It's so soft and does an amazing job for powder and liquid foundation. I've washed this countless times and there's no shedding and the bristles stay soft. The only problem with this is that the ferrule gets loose very easily, but it's nothing a little super glue can't fix. I bought 2 backups of this already and I'm still using my first, which I got almost a year ago. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is one of my favorite brushes! It's sooooo incredibly soft (as all ecotools brushes are) and sooo convenient for travel and to carry in your purse. The cap does kind of get stuck at times, and that's my only complaint about this. It's super dense and does a great job for powder products. Get this, you won't regret it!
Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey

The formula of this polish is AMAZING. Best formula I've ever tried. You will need 2-3 coats to get the full opacity of this polish (which is an amazingly lovely color), but it dries SO quickly. The formula is a bit thick, but don't let that scare you. The best part is that once it dries, it stays on for forever! Won't chip for like a week, even without a top coat. I love this formula and am looking forward to trying the different colors. I can't stop looking at my nails whenever I have this on.
Lipstick -Revlon - Matte lipstick in Mauve It Over
sweetascandy009 7/13/2010 11:48:00 AM
I love this color! It's a complete MLBB color and I love that it's matte. To be honest, I haven't been reaching for this too much lately as I've wanted a bit more gloss/shimmer but I will definitely say this is in my top 5 out of my 20+ lipsticks. The formula is great and non-drying and the color doesn't settle into lines. It's amazing and sooo natural. Great for starters with lipsticks and for those who just want a flawless polished look without looking like they're wearing too much makeup or trying too hard.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Trio - Belgian Chocolates [DISCONTINUED]
sweetascandy009 7/13/2010 11:43:00 AM
I looove this trio! It was one of my first eyeshadows ever and I still find myself reaching for this now that I've expanded my collection quite a bit! (to say the least) The lightest color I find is getting kind of chalky, but I've had this for probably over 4 years so that might be the reasoning behind it. But the color is gorgeous and I love using it wet. The other two colors are also amazing as well. They all go sooo well together! Love this!
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Trio - Shimmering Sands
sweetascandy009 7/13/2010 11:41:00 AM
This is an okay trio. I'd heard a lot of good things about it, so I thought i'd try it out. I'm slightly disappointed. The colors are a bit on the sheer side. I don't think this trio works best with my skin tone (nc35). The lid color is almost the same color as my skin (more taupey though) and it just didn't stand out very much and was just blah. The highlight shade is very bright/frosty but I think a bit too pink to look natural with my skin. The darkest color wasn't very dark and I think the least pigmented out of the 3. Works good over the lid but too light for a defined crease. Overall, I like this on the go or for travel, but I think it'd be more flattering on lighter skin tones.
