Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Soft Ochre

This is the second paint pot in my collection and unfortunately, the second one that disappoints me(I also have Painterly). This one is much better for my skin tone and it cancels out all redness/darkness on my eyelid, but like Painterly, it doesn't work for me as an eyeshadow base. I have oily eyelids and this product does not prevent my e/s from creasing, no more than 2 hours at least. It also needs to be blended quite well or else it will look a little weird and patchy in some areas of your eyelid. I don't know if I would buy this paint pot again because I was mainly looking for an e/s base that could also cancel the darkness on my lids(otherwise I have the Too Faced Shadow Insurance which I love), and this does only the latter but it does so very well.

I'm very disappointed from this product. I had read all the rave reviews here and from so many beauty gurus on Youtube that I decided to try it out. As an eyeshadow base it does absolutely nothing for me, I have oily eyelids and my eyeshadows crease like crazy when I wear Painterly. I tried to put less product, I tried to put more but nothing worked. As a cream eyeshadow with another base underneath (I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance which I LOVE) it's a beautiful neutral shade and has a nice, creamy consistency, but nothing you can't find in other companies for much money(the MAC paint pots cost 20€ here in Greece, which is about 26-27$). All in all, I wouldn't repurchase this product as it doesn't do what it's supposed to(at least on me).

Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Foundation

My usual foundation(Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid Foundation) seemed to me a little bit too dark now that I'm not tanned, so I thought I could save some money and try the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation that I wanted to try it out for so long, after the many rave reviews that I had read. I wanted to like this so badly, but unfortunately I did not, not in the least. My skin is not very oily, I would say it' more combination to oily; when first applied this foundation gave me a somewhat dewey look(which is not really my cup of tea, but it was ok), but after 2-3 hours of wear under normal conditions(not very humid. not hot), it made my skin look so damn oily! Like I had been sweating all day! So I tried it with my trusty primer(one from a local greek brand) and the only difference I saw was that the oiliness started to appear after 4-5 hours. Also, it certainly doesn't last 16 hours as it claims. I've been testing mine for 3 weeks now and there hasn't been a day that it has lasted me more than 6 hours, before completely showing all my blemishes or redness. But the worst thing of all, is that it broke me out so badly which seemed very strange to me cause I never break ou! So, I tried switching back to my old foundation to see if it was indeed the Bourjois one that was causing the problem, and I had no such problems with my Shiseido foundation. Immediately after I re-switched to the Healty Mix, pimples and clogged pores appeared again! I can't understand why my skin reacts this way to the Healthy Mix Foundation, as I've never had problems with break-outs before. Maybe it's the fragrance, I don't know.. :/ All in all, this foundation provides nice medium coverage and a dewy look (which I know many of you like), but the coverage does not last for long and, at least for me, it irritated my skin in a way that no foundation had before. I will certainly not repurchase!

Concealers -Clinique - Line Smoothing Concealer

Taking the price and the product name ("line smoothing") into account, I was expecting much more. I started using this concealer 2 years ago and I was very satisfied as it does a fine job of hiding spots,blemishes and my under-eye circles, even though it felt a little heavy. Ηowever, this year I noticed that lines under my eyes had appeared! THE HORROR!! I don't know if I can blame the concealer, but since, every single time I use it, no matter if I use a little or more, it settles into my thin lines and it looks horrible! Also, I wouldn't recommend it for the upper lid as it tends to crease. All in all, I'm very dissapointed, as it doesn't do what it is supposed to!

Eyes -E.L.F. - Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter

I wanted to like this product so much but unfortunately,I didn't. In terms of quantity, you don't get much, but I guess that's ok when you take its price into acount. In terms of quality...I have very dark under-eye circles and this concealer did absolutely nothing for me, didn't hide anything. I also used a little bit on my upper lid just to even out the colour and after 2 hours it had creased reaaaaally badly! At least, the highlighter does its job! Overall, I'm not satisfied but I don't mind that much because the price is amazingly low. So if you don't have dark under-eye circles or you need a decent highlighter, you could try it I guess!

Concealers -Sephora - Concealer palette

I'm extremely disappointed from this product. It may cover relatively well blemishes(though not on its own,you will need to apply your foundation afterwards),it covers amazingly well my black circles and when applied on the upper eyelid,it provides a beautiful glow that instantly makes you seem more "awake". HOWEVER, these effects last about 1-2 hours. After that it creases reeeeally badly and eventually it wears off completely. I would not recommend this product. *Note that my review is based on use of the concealer on its own,without any primers!
