Mascara -Laura Mercier - Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara

I have to be honest, I am NOT a fan of Laura Mercier products at all. Her products just don't work well on my skin. Anyway, I've been searching for that perfect mascara for years because nothing has ever worked nor impressed me much. So when I saw the rave reviews on here, I was pretty reluctant to try it at first. However, I decided to give it a shot, and I am so glad that I did! Gosh, putting this mascara on feels like total luxury. I love the formula because it glides onto your lashes so effortlessly. There was no tugging whatsoever! The brush is also short, which I liked because it doesn't get so messy. With bigger brushes, I usually have to wipe off the excess mascara on top of my eyelids. With this, I didn't have a problem at all! This mascara does it all - it lengthens, separates out the lashes, and holds the curls all very well. It also volumizes well without clumping, however, it's not the most volumnizing that I ever had. I mean, it doesn't volumize any better than my Dior DiorShow or Lancome Hypnose, but it's a really great mascara all around and it is perfect to wear on a daily basis. I completely love it!
I was pretty upset when they discontinued the air touch foundation and so my search for the perfect foundation continued for years. I actually didn't bother trying this foundation out because that's how upset I was, and I was thinking how could it possibly be better than the air touch? Well, I was wrong. Completely wrong. This is by far the most natural looking foundation I've ever encountered and it performs just as well as the air touch! The coverage is medium to full and it is definitely buildable. It's a little expensive, but you only need a teeny tiny amount so I can kind of justify that! It gives you a dewy, airbrushed look. I love the fact that this foundation also hydrates my face throughout the day, so it not only gives me a polished look, but I feel that I am taking care of my skin. Thank you SKII for coming back to my life!!!
Yes! Yes! Yes! Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! For years, I have searched high and low for an eyeliner that would stay put on my waterline. I actually stopped for a while and gave up. I didn't think there could ever be anything out there that would not smear and last long. But lo and behold, I went to Sephora to request for a sample of a tinted moisturizer, not even looking for an eyeliner, and there it was - the Urban Decay 24/7. I picked one up, drew on my waterline and left the store. When I got home in the evening, I looked at myself in the mirror, and the eyeliner was still on my face! It did NOT smear at all! I went to Sephora the next day and I had to buy iit. I'm wearing it right now, and after 8 hours of work, it's still on. No smear, just perfect. Yay! Finally, I found my holy grail!
I have to agree with MaryEllen's review. This stuff is great! I was also particularly looking for a styling cream that could volumize my hair and this product does it well! Not only that, it enhances the shine and brings out my hair color better than any other products I've used before. I'd buy this again!
Styling Products -Redken - Satinwear 02 ultimate blow-dry lotion

While this is still a great product, Redken Smooth Heat Glide delivers the same results, but BETTER. It tames frizzes and smooths out your hair effortlessly. I find that this lotion doesn't smooth out my ends as well as the heat glide. Both products will give you the same shine.
Styling Products -Moroccanoil - Hydrating Styling Creme

I used Redken Smooth Heat Glide prior to this, and while this product is not any better than that, this styling creme is still a really good product. It does volumize, which I like and that's something that Redken doesn't do, but it doesn't fully smooth out my hair. I can't go through my hair without it feeling tangled.
OMG! I'm a believer! In a way, I was hoping not to love this because it's expensive, but yes, it made that much of a difference to me! I have fine, thin colored/highlighted hair and it's hard to go through my hair without feeling it tangled. I really do see the beautiful shine and color! I've tried to look for cheaper shampoos such as John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Moisturizing Shampoo, which I thought worked really well, but gosh, I've never seen this kind of result in any other shampoos before! I guess i'll be using this for now!
I am really disappointed in Laura Mercier products, especially this concealer. This has no staying power. It comes completely off after a couple of hours and my eyeliner smears even more when I use this! TERRIBLE!
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

wow, wow, wow...that's all I can say! I first tried on this product when I was going out in Vegas to a club and my friend sprayed this baby on me beforehand. Let me tell you, we were out 'til 4 AM and my makeup stayed in place all night long! I cannot believe what a huge difference this product could do! This is a definite must have on your list and I wish I had discovered this kind of product sooner!
Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Instant Moisture Daily Shampoo

The worst shampoo (or hair product for that matter) I've ever purchased in my life. I kid you not. It did not lather, it did not smoothen nor soften, it did completely NOTHING.

I am glad that my stylist introduced this product to me. Let me just say that I never liked my hair..My hair is very fine but also damaged due to bleaching about once a month..this product, though, helps with smoothing my hair out and giving that extra shine and softness that I need. I never had such beautiful hair in my life! No lie! It also does an excellent job in controlling frizz. It doesn't weigh my hair down too...all you need is about a dime size and just run it through your hair, emphasizing the bottom to avoid split ends...The serum is not too thick nor runny. I never had a problem where my hair looking greasy if I used too much. I used to buy Frederic Fekkai Technican Glaze, but this one is far superior and totally blows Fekkai out of the water. Yay, I guess I found a new holy grail.
Well, for a light and buildable foundation, this has fantastic staying power. It actually stayed on my face all day and it doesn't settle into fine lines at all. I also like how this gives you a very soft look. The only reason why I wouldn't purchase this again is because none of their colors suited my light asian skin :( I tried the Natural shade and it made my face orange...Oh well...It was expensive anyway..
HG! HG! HG! I absolutely loveee this product!! There is a tingly sensation when applied, but it makes me feel so relaxed at the same time. This definitely deep cleans out my pores alright. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. I love it!

Luckily, I received a sample of this. I felt like it worked for a while because I felt a tingly sensation when applied. Unfortunately, that was all it did. Didn't help with my 25-year old fine lines.
Cleansers -Shu Uemura - High Performance Cleansing Oil Light

While I still love my Philosophy Purity Made Me Simple, I recently went back to this after some breakouts due to the changed of season getting hotter. I remember why I still kept this item. It balances out my skin faster and it doesn't cause me to break out anymore. I have combination skin and it does feel a bit weird to me to put more oil on my face, but the consultant told me what better way to clean the natural oils on your face than oil itself? She is right because it worked. I apply this cleaner on my face and then remove with the depsea water facial mist. I like that item too.
