Bought this out of desperation because I had lost my mascara and this is the only one offered in an airport. Considering its supposed to be a volumizing mascara, this didn't do anything except give me wet spidery lashes. Doesn't dry very well, and it smells horrible! I could smell my lashes throughout the day! For $15 its much as a MAC mascara. Thank goodness for their amazing return policy!
This blush is from the Jeanius collection and retails for 19.50. Mac describes the color as a "Mid-tone Neutral Pink", and it's exactly as it says. It swatches a very neutral pink color, perfect for lighter skin tones for that natural flushed look. It is matte and has a good color payoff, great for an everyday look.
This lipgloss is from the Jeanius collection and retails for 14.50. MAC describes the color as a Deep Burgundy with Blue Pearl. It swatches a semi-sheer boysenberry color with some shimmer. It's definitely wearable since it's opaque for a plum color, and looks more magenta than red.
This is a larger, LE eyeshadow from the Jeanius collection, retailing for 19.50. It has a jean design imprint that will fade away quickly with usage. MAC describes the color as a White with Silver Pearl. It swatches white, a little more transparent than Crystal Avalanche, similar to White Frost or Gesso with a frost finish. Pretty, but nothing special. The formulas for the Jeanius collection eyeshadows aren't very impressive.
This is a larger, LE eyeshadow from the Jeanius collection, retailing for 19.50. It has a jean design imprint that will fade away quickly with usage. MAC describes the color as a Black with Copper Pearl. It swatches a midtone grey, probably halfway between Silver Ring and Knight Divine with a frost finish. It is more pigmented than the rest of the eyeshadows in the collection.
This is a larger, LE eyeshadow from the Jeanius collection, retailing for 19.50. It has a jean design imprint that will fade away quickly with usage. MAC describes the color as a Midtone Dirty Blue with Copper Pearl. It is fairly pigmented and swatches a medium blue, brighter than Deep Truth.
This is a larger, LE eyeshadow from the Jeanius collection, retailing for 19.50. It has a jean design imprint that will fade away quickly with usage. MAC describes the color as a Midtone Grey with Silver. It swatches a pale, frosty ice blue, but does not go on smoothly. There is a lot of fallout which is not something you want with frost finishes. It's pretty, but I would pass on this one.
Conditioner -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Nourishing Conditioner

I love love love this conditioner for its scent. I have fine, long, blonde hair that needs the nourishment. This conditioner makes it feel really soft and tames the frizz as well as moisturizes. I will always have this conditioner in my bathtub.
Shampoo -Victoria's Secret - So Sexy Nourishing Shampoo

I use this in conjunction with the Nourishing Conditioner. I can't tell if this shampoo does much for my hair, except makes it smell good, which I love. It's a pretty big bottle and in my opinion totally worth it for the price. However the conditioner does the same thing with making it smell good, so if you already have a shampoo you love just get the conditioner.
Love this! It's a great protein treatment! I have very fine, blonde hair and I like to use it prior to a deep conditioner on a weekly basis. It is also good before or after I highlight my hair. For 5$ it's a steal!!
Beautiful lipstick! Mac describes the color as a "tanned apricot". Though I'm not usually a fan of "frost" lipsticks, this one applies well, as a pretty coral-ish and gives nice dimension to the lips. Will def repurchase!
Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Cream with Olive Oil
svetlana89 1/14/2010 11:13:00 AM
I think this product is really a hit or miss. For my fine, naturally straight, colored/highlighted hair it did tame the frizz but felt greasy. I don't blow dry or heat style my hair, perhaps it's better for those who do. The bottle also separated the cream/olive oil within a month. I will not be repurchasing.
I love self-tanning moisturizers. On the first application I felt my skin very moisturized and glowing. It dries pretty quickly in a matter of minutes. So far, no streaking and no orange. I like that it mixes self-tanner with a priming moisturizer. Not sure how adjustable the color really is, but if you want TAN, and fast, this is a great buy!!
Hair Color -Clairol - Professional Premium Creme Demi Permanent
svetlana89 1/3/2010 5:52:00 AM
Pros: Lasts, true to swatch, offers a wide-range of colors, including lower level ash Cons: Drying, doesn't cover greys well, pricier than others I tried this fairly new line of demi permanent colors because they offered lower level ashes. I tried the 6A, and it was pretty true to the swatch (compared to most that tend to come out 2 shades darker), and canceled any brassiness with the ash. It didn't fade for several weeks, which was nice compared the Wella color charm that fades extremely fast. Fairly thick formula. However, it was a slight bit pricier than any of the other brands. The color itself is 5.99$ and the developer is another dollar. Though I don't have any greys I have heard that it does not cover greys very well. And as a note greys are better covered with neutral colors, not ash. It is advertised as having a deep conditioning soy-complex, but in reality it was extremely drying on my hair. I will repurchase in the event that I need a lower level ash, but I much prefer wella and ion.
I love this eyeshadow!! It's hard to describe, like a blackish gold. It looks beautiful on top of a dark base to add shimmer or by itself for a shimmery dark gold! Applies smooth and has great lasting power!!
