I love the kiwi lime conditioner for co washing and thought this was going to perform the same way, it leaves my hair super shiny, it makes my hair looking amazing however this makes me loose so much hair!!! in the shower, when I comb and for the next days I shed like crazy, I looked at the ingredients and I can't see or recognize any ingredient that I'm allergic to, I have no clue why this makes my hair fall out so much, too bad because it smells divine and I don't even need extra conditioner after.

Finally jumped on the co-wash bandwagon and I am so happy I did the switch, took my hair about a week to fell o.k with that change and so far it's been about a month, my hair has never looked better, I've tried every shampoo out there, my hair was super damaged and now it feels like super silky virgin hair, a true miracle! Only con is that I have to use quite a bit of product since I have bra strap length hair.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Sublime Mousse

My last coloring with Nutrisse looked good and was shiny for a very short time, everytime I washed my hair more and more color would come out to the point that my hair was orangy brown, however my hair always turns really red anytime I use Nutrisse, last color was light ash brown and by week 3 it looked pretty bad. So I did some research and was curious about foam haircolor, read about this one and saw on youtube a lot of positive reviews. Since I wanted to go back to the darker side of brown I chose pure light brown knowing that they run very dark, I got a beautifiul semi sweet chocolate brown type of color, no red, it covered all my orangy brown, the ends have a little bit left because I left the product for only 10-15 minutes on the ends, I wasn't sure if the ends were gonna soak up the color like they do with Nutrisse. Color came out the same from root to tip, I can see the parts were I missed on the roots in the crown area and behind my ears but that was my fault, I don't find foam color too user friendly but I like the fact that color comes out even, no more patches, uneven color. When I was rinsing my hair it didn't feel dried out or squeaky clean, the conditioner comes in a very generous sized tube, smells really good and turned my hair into silk, when I dried it it had no frizz and was mega shiny. The only negative is that I got a mad rash wherever this touched my skin, took a Benadryl and swelling diminished. 04/10 did root touch up and I was able to do it easier than the first time, noticed that the developer from this second box was 20V and the first one I used was 25V, application on the first one was 25 mins, second one 30 mins, so there are different products out there, this one with the 20V didn't give me any rashes, so far the color on the roots looks the same as the rest

Shampoo -Garnier - Fall Fight Shampoo

It has both sulfates which isn't healthy for my hair or scalp, left my scalp pretty dry and my hair a tangled nest, will have to look for other anti-fall shampoo.

I was probably too busy looking at the swirls on this shampoo because I didn't read that it has sodium lauryl sulfate, I can stand laureth but lauryl is really bad for my hair and it also has als, so, I washed and the roots were quite squeaky clean and dry, my hair has a lot of shine right now due to all those power cleaning sulfates but other than that feels pretty dry, used the argan mask afterwards and had a lot of tangles even with it.

Shampoo -John Frieda - Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo

This shampoo is pretty good, it doesn't dry my hair out or my scalp, it doesn't make me itchy either, the only problem is that it has cocamidopropyl betaine which is awful for my hair, in the frizz free department claim I don't really see a difference but hair feels soft and flowy, normal shine, nothing too overly shiny either

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Intense Nourishing

Love everything about this shampoo: the smell, the suds, the fact that my scalp didn't feel squeaky clean or itchy at night, however, it took my color right off my hair, the water was running brown and when I checked in the mirror I noticed that my roots were brassy, I color my hair ash so taking care of that tone is a bit challenging when your hair wants to turn reddish/orangy color, it contains also cocamidopropyl betaine, I lost lots of hair in the shower.

Conditioner -Pantene - Expert Collection Age Defy Conditioner

I like this conditoner, it smells great and it's very nice, creamy and pearly, I had to use quite a bit to detangle the matching shampoo, hair is bouncy and shiny but I still have some frizzy hair, L'oreal Advanced is much superior than this line.

I like this shampoo for the fact that it makes my hair very shiny but it has both sulfates and cocamidopropyl betaine, my number one enemy. Upon washing hair felt dry, not tangled but definitely dry, the conditioner is great, however you have to use a lot to feel some slip, hair looks shiny thanks to all those sulfates getting my hair super clean, I don't understand how can they advertise this for thinning/aging/older hair with that much bad stuff in it. I'm in my forties and this shampoo/conditioner didn't impress me.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Perfection Volumizing Mascara
rated 5 of 5

Love this mascara, it has a very innocent looking brush that I never imagined it was going to create such beautiful, full, natural looking lashes, when I don't want the mega drama that Maybelline The Falsies give me, I use this, makes the cutest doll-like lashes, color used was "Blackest Black".

Treatments -Garnier - Fall FIght Leave In Conditioner/Treatment
rated 2 of 5

Just started using this today since my hair has been falling off so much, sprayed and massaged for one minute on freshly washed hair, scalp feels fresh and cool, I will come back and update review. EDIT: hasn't seen any difference using this, the only thing that makes a difference is when I add certain foods to my diet.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - Advanced Haircare Color Vibrancy Nourishing Shampoo

Nice creamy shampoo with great scent, unfortunately my hair didn't like it, left my roots super dry and squeaky clean, didn't change the color of my hair which was great, too bad that it over cleans my dry scalp and irritates it.

Treatments -L'Oreal - Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm
rated 4 of 5

WOW this mask was able to do the impossible: mega shine, hydrated hair and absolutely zero frizz to my hair who has been put thru hell and back, after I came out of the shower I could see how my hair looked already frizz free, all I added was a drop of argan oil, drying my hair was super easy and the end result look like something out of a hair commercial, I am gonna stock up, this stuff is incredible. EDIT: my ends feel a bit dry, not sure if it's the candelilla wax coating my hair, the glycerin, the wheat protein or all of the above.

Conditioner -L'Oreal - Advanced Haircare - Total Repair 5
rated 1 of 5
suzanneb 2/21/2013 8:56:00 PM

This conditioner is fantastic, it untangled the bird's nest that the Total 5 shampoo did to my hair, inmediately turned my hair into silk with glass-like shine and a little goes a long ways, extremely good conditoner that feels like a hydrating power mask, my hair looks straight out of a hair commercial, it took care of every bit of frizz too. EDIT: the more I use this conditioner, the less I like it, I've used it twice and it's turning my hair into hay, it doesn't detangle my long and dry hair, doesn't get rid of the frizz and when it's dry looks quite unappealing, some say it's the keratin-ceramide and the wheat protein.

Dries my hair out, after rinsing, I felt my roots crazy squeaky clean and the rest of my hair pretty tangled, I shouldn't have use this considering that it has both sulfates which are tragic for my dry and colored wavy hair, I live in high desert weather, I need all the moisture I can have, this shampoo did the opposite.
