Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Sweet as Candy

I have a gazillion bronze and taupe eyeshadows, yet bought this because the brown/ bronze was neutral. Didn't pull orange like almost all bronze shadows, nor was it a grey tone taupe. It's nice to finally find one shadow that, for me, gets it right .

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in Forest Nymph

It makes a great eyeshadow base. Makes your eyeshadow more vibrant, more intense. Also, I like the application. I pat it on eyelid. It' s gentle to delicate eye skin. No tugging involved. I like it even better than my NYX Junbo pencils, because ELF is a turn mechanism when point wears down, but NYX need to be sharpened

Eyeliner -L.A. Colors - Auto Eyeliner In Black

I use this in an unconventional way, and for this, it works great: After applying a gold or bronze lid color, I apply some pencil strokes on top,at the lash line and a little way up on the lid....it doesn't even need to be visible because the PURPOSE is to provide a sticky base coat for my next step, patting on a bit of black powder shadow. This method makes the black powder shadow stick, also prevents fallout, which black shadows often cause. I end up with a beautiful blackened, ombered effect over the gold or bronze. This works way better for me than the dark horse, smog and snakebite shadows in my UD palettes.

I use it to tweak other eyeshadows, from other brands. Use it to add color, tone down a dark shade, etc.

Eye Shadow -L.A. Colors - 12 palette e/s in traditional

I use this to tune up a first layer of eyeshadow. Tune up as in add more color, lighten a color, darken a color. It's a useful tweaker for other eyeshadows.

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick

New fave eyeshadow base. I use it after eye primer. Jumbo pencil goes on easy. Doesn't involve a lot of rubbing. This alone is worth it because less wear and tear on delicate eye skin. When I pat eyeshadows over the pencil, they look really vibrant and the effect lasts all day. These have replaced NYX pencils as my favorite base.

Eye Shadow -Stila - It Girl Warm Trio 2007

For the longest time didn't love it. Now, discovered great way to use it. Problem was the bronze was too weak and warm as my eyelid color. So, I used primer and then used a black base. Lightly applied to eyelid. Then, pat bronze on lid. Next, add some black eye pencil at lash line and a bit above. Next pat on some gray e/s from lash line and go up a little from there. This way u get a nice mix of blackened bronze...the perfect color balance. Do underbrow area in any high lite shade you like. Stila Kitten looks nice but so does the lame...especially if put over a layer of matte cream to soften the brightness of the gold brow hi light . Add more black along upper lashes to emphasize. Don't forget to do something similar along bottom lash line....blackened bronze looks good there, too. It helps if u put some eyeliner pencil on first to get shadow something to stick to.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil - Milk

News flash!!! These can easily be sharpened with a plain old eyeliner(thick size) pencil sharpener. Put it in fridge a few minutes to make for easier sharpening. Don't need to depot and definitely don't throw away when point wears down. The plastic coating around the pencil is sharpener-friendly. Come on gals, it's not rocket science !! Best way I found to use it, rub some on my finger and pat on eyelid.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 - Candlelight
rated 4 of 5
sunnyonne1 12/20/2011 10:46:00 AM

Color is a gorgeous, perfect pale peachy nude. It's frosted, so if that's a problem for you, just pair it with another l/g or l/s. We all have drawerfuls of products. It will be easy to find something to use with Candlelight. This gloss becomes even more beautiful when mixed. Tube is flimsy and splits where it meets the cap. To avoid this problem, don't twist it tightly to close.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Hypershine Lip Gloss - Fairy
rated 4 of 5
sunnyonne1 12/18/2011 5:55:00 PM

This is a no brainer to put on. You don't need a mirror because you can't overdo the application. The result leaves you with an understated yet most definitely there, glowy, slightly shimmery wash of pale pink. Sometimes I feel my other lipssticks and glosses look OTT. With 'Fairy', I'm confident the look is never overdone, and more importantly, never UNDERDONE !!.

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Egyptian Magic Healing Cream

my son and I both use this when we get a strange viral rash on our skin. The rash is the size of a quarter, red and puffy, with a small white head area in the middle. Doctors don't know what it is, but they gave us cortizone cream to treat, and it didn't help. The only treatment that worked, and worked quickly, is E.M. The whole thing is a mystery, but I'm not concerned because E.M.takes care of it.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst in Pink Sugar
rated 4 of 5
sunnyonne1 12/10/2011 2:00:00 AM

I disagree with most of these negative reviews. This lipstick is plenty pigmented. you just need to swipe it a few times to bring the color up to the level you want. I love it because it's the perfect baby pink. Most lipsticks are way too dark for my pale coloring. This one works for me. Could have done without the small flecks of fine glitter. Not a deal breaker, but not an added attraction, either.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter

I'm loving Sugar Frosting, and to a lesser extent, Cupcake. Main problem with the tubes. Once the wrapper is off,it's diifiicult to pull open because the base is so short, there is nothing to grab onto.

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Duo Eye Shadow Cream
rated 3 of 5
sunnyonne1 10/12/2011 10:56:00 AM

As cream e/s worn alone it will crease. As a base underneath to make e/s shimmer, pop, and look vibrant, it works like a charm. All these years I've been wearing e/s wrong. I had used primer under the e/s. The look was blah. This cream e/s base brings everything front and center. You don't need much. A thin layer is perfect.

As far as fallout potential, use the cream base included in this palette, before applying (tap it on, don't stroke it on) the glitter eyeshadows, and you should be fine.
