I got an ItShines Gloss in Fashionista as part of a hostess gift. It's a pretty sparkly cherry red, and gives lips a really nice color. I didn't find it overly sticky, and it lasts well for a gloss. Not sure on the packaging yet, I'm thinking that I won't be able to get the product out when it gets close to the bottom. It smells divine, looks pretty... and yeah, I already have 2 more colors picked out for my next order! It's a nice treat, even though it's a little more than I usually pay for a gloss.
Who would have thought that sweet and sticky HONEY would end up being the most soothing thing I ever put on my face? I love manuka honey and can't say enough good about it and what it's done for my skin! Pimples and irritated areas are calmed, skin feels soft and smooth... it's practically a miracle! I use manuka honey as a spot treatment, by itself as an all-over mask, or mixed in with glacial clay to mask. I haven't started eating it yet, but apparently it's an amazing bacteria fighter! I will never be without some manuka honey from GoW!!
Lip Gloss -Boots - No7 Lip Glacé Ultra Shiny Lip Gloss

I really wanted to love this, but I just don't. I have this glue... sorry, this gloss, in Candy Floss, a pretty baby pink with lots of sparkles. The smell is tasty, almost good enough to eat. But the lippies fly off after I put it on! This is one of the stickiest glosses I have ever used!! And while it looks lovely, the feeling of having my lips stuck together always makes me regret wearing it :(
The Lumiere Sample Kit cost me $9 CAD and you get 4 - 1/4 Tsp. Sample Jars of Foundation, 1 - 1/4 Tsp. Sample Jar of Blush or All Over Color, 1 - 1/4 Tsp. Sample Jar of Finishing Powder or Silk Powder, 1 - $5.00 Coupon! Good toward your next Lumiere order (with a minimum $6.00 order), and FREE shipping anywhere in the world. *** PROS: *Generous sample size *adorable jars (good quality clear plastic that looks like glass with a black plastic lid) *free shipping (took 10 days to get to Canada) *** CONS: *Only allowed to order this ONCE *no sifter tops on jars *** Overall, this sample kit is wonderful, and enough to convince me that I definitely want to order full sizes in the future. Unfortunately, I was not able to find the right color/formula combo in this first batch. I understand that they have to keep costs down, but it would be so nice to order this kit again and again! Oh well, sample baggies, here I come!
I'm cut off from shopping for a while, but when I saw the Rimmel Sweet Jelly sheer lipglosses on sale for just $4 CAD, I BROKE! I got a Sweet Jelly in 'Delicious', a bright reddish-pink. It goes on very smooth and sheer, with no glitter... just a wonderful, high-shine gloss. Staying power is decent for a gloss and it has a nice smooth texture, not too goopy, not too runny. It doesn't have any taste that I've noticed, and the smell is just wonderful, very sweet, like candy! OK, I admit it!! I'm going back after work for more colors... :)
Eye Shadow -Everyday Minerals - Ginger Peach Eye Shadow

What a lovely color! Just enough peach, just enough sparkle, and such a smooth texture! Mostly I have been wearing Ginger Peach as an all-over color (applied with EM's eye kabuki). I find that the sparkles really stay put, and don't end up all over my cheeks. Today I tried foiling it on my lids only and WOW! Great color payoff, and it's holding up really well! More experimenting to come :) I love this color, it's a great quality e/s, and I can see it being very versatile on many skin tones (I wear a 50/50 mix of Warm Medium Beige Intensive and Warm Buttered Tan O-Glo, for reference). Mostly, I just love how it brings out my blue eyes! I will definitely repurchase! :)
A gloss this is not! But if you're looking for a tinted balm that will leave your lips soft and lightly colored, this is perfect! If they had marketed it as a tinted balm, it would get full marks from me! But I knocked off a lippy because I was expecting (and it's marketed as) a gloss. Spring Berries comes in a cute yet sturdy twist up tube. It looks very pigmented in the tube, but goes on sheer. No discernible taste and I thought it smelled a little bit like sunflower seeds. It gave my lips a beautiful natural color, and amazing smoothness with decent staying power. It's a great price, and I will definitely be ordering this and the other colors too! :)
Scrubs -Beauticontrol - Skinlogics Revitalizing Face Scrub

I always figured a scrub was a scrub, even after all the fabulous reviews on MUA. Boy, was I wrong! I got this as part of the 20s skincare kit, and it really is as good as everyone says! It has great scrubbing power... but it's not too scratchy. My skin feels unbelievably smooth after every use, and the scent is just... WOW! It's a little more expensive than many scrubs, but definitely worth it. I won't even wait to finish this before I reorder. The only negative for me was the package quality. I dropped it off the bathroom counter (ya, I'm a klutz) and the cap broke and the little stopper got stuck, so I can't use the flip top. Not a huge deal, but of course, it happened before I even got to use it once :p
My tub of Lemony Flutter is almost gone :( It went pretty quick after a couple girls at my office tried it. It seemed every time I pulled it out of the drawer, 3 or 4 other girls would flock to use some. I will be getting 2 next time, one for the office, one for home! It's a great price, wonderful true lemon scent, thick texture... oh, and it WORKS! I love to soak my hands in warm water with peppermint essential oils, then slather on Lemony Flutter and push my cuticles back. It leaves my fingers soft and my nails are stronger when I keep up the maintenance. This is a definite keeper from LUSH!
Day 1 of using my Beauticontrol loot! I'm loving the Spectaculash mascara so far! I don't think it will ever give me an over-the-top club look, but that's not what I wanted or expected. I got it in Brown-Black and my lashes feel very soft and fringy, no clumps, no smears. The brush is nice with very dense bristles, and one coat is perfect for day-time, on my fairly long, but light colored lashes. Very impressed so far, but I'm going to experiment tonight with curling and various coats to see how dramatic it can go. :)
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Original Glo Formula

Thanks MUA! Without the great reviews on here, I probably never would have tried Everyday Minerals O-Glo... and boy would I have been missing out! I have mostly normal, slightly oily skin. Never gets any huge breakouts anymore, but is prone to clogged pores. I like good coverage for a few old scars, and generally prefer a matte finish, although that's starting to change. Semi-matte had a good finish, but wore off too soon. Matte just looked off, and made me somewhat itchy. Intensive gave me great coverage, but it was almost too matte, and I'm starting to prefer the summer glow look. O-Glo sat in the drawer because I was a tad phobic about it being too 'sparkly', and getting slick, especially on my oilier days. Well I'm glad I got over that, because O-Glo in Buttered Tan is on it's way to being my HG! It is NOT sparkly... it just gives this wonderful "lit from within" glow that looks great all over! I am currently using a 50/50 mix of Warm Medium Beige Intensive and Warm Buttered Tan O-Glo, and I am getting so many compliments on my skin! When I don't feel like mixing, I will wear just Buttered Tan O-Glo, and it's like my skin, only better! Anyone who hasn't tried Everyday Minerals, just go for it!! It might take a few sample kits to get the right color/formula combination, but it is worth it :)
Samples -Everyday Minerals - Free Sample Makeup Kit [DISCONTINUED/REPLACED]

I've had nothing but great experiences with Everyday Minerals so far! First off, you can order this kit as many times as you want. This was great for me, as it took 2 kits to get the right foundation color/formulation combo for my normal/combo skin and active lifestyle. (A mix of Medium Beige Intensive and Buttered Tan O-Glo) I have since ordered the Full Custom Kit and will probably remain a loyal customer, thanks in part to these generous samples. When I say generous... 2 kits have lasted me about 2 months, and the concealers and blush will probably last 6 months! Pricewise... well, it's free, so you will hear no complaints from me! Shipping to Canada was about 10 days and $4. Customer service has been very prompt and friendly, and the website is great! I have recommended Everyday Minerals to lots of friends and family already. My skin has never looked better, and getting ready in the morning takes about half the time it used to! Thank you Everyday Minerals for sharing these wonderful products at such an affordable cost :) ******* EDIT: Just a note that the colors will vary by formula, so be sure to try various combinations! For example, Warm Medium Beige Intensive was significantly darker than Warm Medium Beige Semi Matte.
