Cleansers -Neutrogena - Naturals Cleanser + Makeup Remover

I was very skeptical of this product, even with all the good reviews, I didn't think it was going to work, but it actually does! It removed my eyeliner, my mascara, and all of my face makeup. I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing I don't like about this product is the disappointing size. For around $8-9 you would think it'd be a bigger bottle. Oh well, at least it works and lives up to its claims. This does not sting or burn my sensitive eye area either.

Treatments -TRESemme - Split Remedy Leave-In Conditioning Spray
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 3/16/2012 7:58:00 PM

Whoa. This line just keeps getting better. I bought the leave in conditioning spray today because my hair was frizzy and all tangled due to the humidity. I sprayed my hair with water a couple times, then I spray this into my hair, brushed it through, and BAM- my hair calmed down. It looked like I just got it trimmed, when in actuality my hair is severely damaged. This was super cheap too, $4.30 something at Target, and I liked the split remedy shampoo so I decided to give this a shot- I'm so glad I did. I notice less split ends in my hair, and my hair actually looks healthier. This takes away the strawy look of my ends, and leaves my hair shiny and smooth. Definitely worth giving this a try if you're looking for a leave in conditioner.

Toners -Clean & Clear - Deep Cleaning Astringent-Sensitive Skin (blue)
rated 5 of 5

This actually made the appearance of pores smaller, I used this after washing my face and it made a difference almost immediately. This does not irritate, dry out, or breakout my skin. I have had no problems with this so far, and it helps with oil too.

Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush - Mellow Wine 833D
rated 5 of 5

Wow, I really love this. It's my current favorite blush. The pigmentation is incredible, the color is perfect, it's not too shimmery and it is not chalky, a little goes a long way, and it has good staying power. I have nothing bad to say about this except the brush included with it is terrible. :P

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 2/17/2012 7:18:00 PM

This is the first drugstore powder eyeshadow I actually like. Usually I only trust drugstore creme shadows because they have the most consistently good pigmentation. Finally, this has changed my mind about powder eyeshadows. This is very smooth, applies well, looks amazing without being over the top, great for daily use, can be dressed up for a night look, no problems with creasing, and fallout is minimal. I'm so glad I bought this, it's definitely worth the hype.

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Kit
rated 4 of 5
summerlover77 2/17/2012 7:06:00 PM

The wax is just okay, it doesn't really do much for my long eyebrow hairs, they stay in place a little better and you can't feel the wax on your brows. I love the powder side, it is the perfect color with the perfect pigmentation and it really does help to naturally define your brows. I have this in medium which is perfect because my brows are not brown but they're not quite black either. This also works well with my fair skin because it's not too dark.

Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear - Ivory to Fair
rated 4 of 5
summerlover77 2/17/2012 6:59:00 PM

First impression: This thing must have had some kind of natural reaction in the tube because the third time I opened it, a whole bunch shot out and it was kind of bubbling. Use: I like to use this under my powder foundation and the two combined (I use PF Healthy Wear SPF 50 in Translucent Medium) give me the most natural look. The coloring is just right, the formula is quite watery but that makes it easy to blend into your skin, coverage is minimal and only evens out your skin tone as advertised, it has SPF 15, comes with 1.5 fl oz/44ml of product, and is "100% free of harsh chemicals, parabens, and synthetic preservatives". Basically, if you're into all natural products, you will love this because it's certified organic. The directions say to shake before use, and I definitely recommend doing this because it does tend to get separated easily.

Powder -Physicians Formula - Healthy Wear SPF 50 Powder Foundation
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 2/17/2012 6:52:00 PM

I got this on sale at Target today (clearance) for $4.10, I bought it because it was $10 off and I heard some good things about this. I soooo regret not picking up another one. I love this, it has SPF 50 which is crazy because I'm a sunscreen freak, I never leave home without it. It has good coverage without looking cakey, and it doesn't come off in an hour like all my other powders do. This is so amazing, I can't even put this into words. I like to use this on top of a tinted moisturizer and it makes my face look natural yet smooth and fresh. This doesn't have any shimmer in it, which is always a plus, but beaware this does run extremely light. I bought a medium shade and I thought they got the labeling wrong because it looked like the fair shade. This is definitely something to try out!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie
rated 5 of 5

I love this! It lasts for a long time, doesn't settle into lip lines, doesn't dry out lips, has a nice color payoff, very flattering on my fair skin, solid packaging. What more can you ask for?

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 2/10/2012 8:42:00 PM

This is the only face brush I really need. It's great for travel because you only need one brush for your foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer. This is great to use for liquid (or powder) foundation if you don't have a stippling brush. It buffs in foundation really well and the results look better than using your fingers or a sponge. The brush is very dense and of high quality, the bristles are soft and there is next to no shedding. The price is unbeatable and the look of the brush is very sleek, this is definitely something I'd repurchase and have recommended to others. :)

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - EyeStudio Trio in Rose Revolution #15
rated 4 of 5
summerlover77 2/6/2012 9:48:00 PM

This is my favorite trio of all time. I own this in Rose Revolution which has a champagne color, a golden rose color, and a brown crease color. The colors are made for eachother, although they go on much more sheer than they look in the trio. It's best to use your fingers to apply this, which is not a pain because it's easy to blend. The lid color, the rose shade, appears pink when you first purchase it but once you get some on your finger, it turns gold, it's the weirdest yet coolest thing. On the lid, it looks amazing because the shadow itself is a nice wearable rose shade (coming from someone who sticks to neutral shadows) but reflects gold which really brightens up your eyes. The crease color is not overly dark and it gives just enough definition to your eyes. The highlight color is not pure white and goes very nicely with the other two colors. I wore this at school today and it creased when I didn't have powder on it but as soon as I set it with a powder, all creasing ceased. It lasted the entire day even though the colors did fade a bit. I'm sure that can be prevented with the use of a good primer, however. Overall, I definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to try some new eyeshadow colors instead of the usual neutrals.

Lip Treatments -Vaseline - Cherry Lip Therapy
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 1/13/2012 10:03:00 PM

Vaseline Cherry Lip Therapy beats any standard chapstick on the market. I've tried EOS, Burt's Bees, SoftLips, Lip Smackers, etc. and not a single one comes close to this. This is not sticky, it lasts a remarkably long time, makes lips feel soft, and does not emphasize dry spots. This it less than a dollar at Target and it's well worth the money. The only things I don't like about this do not affect the product's performance: the cherry scent is very faint and hardly noticable (I was originally just looking for a cherry balm because I LOVE cherry! weird, i know. :P), the packaging could have been better, but other than that, I love this!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Cover Girl Professional Mascara (washable)
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 1/7/2012 10:52:00 PM

This mascara is one of my favorites even though I didn't absolutely love it at first. This is extremely buildable, gives great length, some volume, separates nicely, doesn't smudge or flake even in the washable version, and easy to wash off with regular facial cleanser and water. It's the consistency of this mascara that makes it one of the best you'll find in the drugstore. It's smoother than the formula of Maybelline Falsie's and One by One, but it's not overly wet either like the original Great Lash. This formula is perfect, there is absolutely nothing that I can say about it that I don't like, it's truly perfection. It's a pleasure to work with, the brush is an average size making it easy to coat all of your lashes. This doesn't look spidery, it gives amazing length without it flaking off all over your face. This doesn't clump either! The only bad thing about this is that the very tip of the wand doesn't get cleaned off by the scraper so you have to blot the very tip on a tissue or just scrape it on the lip of the container, but hey, it's not a big deal. LOVE THIS MASCARA!<3

Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720
rated 4 of 5
summerlover77 1/5/2012 10:10:00 PM

Wow, I really like this. Every bronzer out there seems too light for my pale skin, but this look so natural on my skin! The color is so sheer, it barely even shows up on my skin tone and the packaging is cheap (-1 Lippie) However, it is very buildable but it does take a lot of work to get a noticeable difference. It does not look orange whatsoever, no matter how much I've applied. It looks nice when you use it for contouring cheeks because it creates a nice shadow, but even when you look at where it was applied in full light, you don't see a stripe of the color across your cheek. Overall, I'd buy this again especially for this price! A lot of NYC stuff is complete junk, but this is actually quality stuff, check it out.

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Studio Makeup Mist & Set Spray
rated 5 of 5
summerlover77 1/5/2012 9:56:00 PM

Wow, I am actually really impressed with this product! I sprayed it on my flat top powder brush (also from E.L.F.) and patted it all over my face. I bought this because usually powders on my face are gone within a matter of hours and eyeshadows crease badly. I've had my makeup on for about eight hours now and you can actually still see the blush on my face! My skin normally gets oily in the T-Zone too and powders don't last very long at all, but my skin hasn't gotten oily at all except for on my nose, but everything I've ever used seems to rub off of it so I can't complain. My eyeshadows still look as fresh as it did when I applied it this morning (I just used the E.L.F. Essentials Primer underneath my Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadow in the shade: Not just nudes- which i set with a translucent powder as well). My cream eyeliner did not smudge at all either and the spray did not interfere with my washable mascara. It only smells weird if you smell the nozzle. I was so surprised by this, I will definitely buy this again when it runs out, I really need it to keep my makeup on all day!
