I've read about this product long ago but I couldn't get it because I didn't know where to buy it. My skin is acne prone and was severly damaged by murad acne complex. Before using this, I slowly switched products so I used the Bioderma Crealine H2O for about 2 days then used this. SAVED MY SKIN. OH MY GOSH. I can't thank Bioderma enough. By just sprinkling the water on a cotton pad and wiping it all over your face (one simple step) all the redness disappeared (in just 3 days) It cleans all traces of make-up if you follow directions. My skin is more even toned (well after a few weeks at least). It's getting colder now but it doesn't dry my skin one bit. Make-up goes so well on top. I don't even put a moisturizer anymore this stuff just works. I know this is weird but I keep smiling now when I look in the mirror. I feel better about myself again. It's a little hard to find though, but they sell it in Shopper's and I hear there are promos/sales for them. My mom buys it on her trips to Paris so it's so much cheaper. If you're someone who suffers from acne, try this. There might be a little purging but it would last like 4 days or a week. It's worth it.

Skincare - Face -Murad - Acne Complex©

A brief background of my skin: -Combination oily during summer, combination dry during winter -Very persistent acne on the chin and nose area. I saw the tv ad last June and thought "This might just work on me!" So, the next time I saw the tv ad, I forced my mom to watch it and I begged almost on my knees so she would buy it for me. So she did. THEN, that's when I thought of looking up reviews. I was so scared about the purging part because of all the reviews. My first shipment came and lo and behold the get clear, stay clear slogan in the white box with the blue insides and the simple packaging. Upon using it, my skin felt soft and smooth (But I think it was just me). After 3 days, I could swear my skin was a bit clearer. I continued using it and continued observing as well. 4 weeks later, my acne was still there and EVEN WORSE. I got really big pimples all over my cheeks, where, mind you, I don't usually get pimples. I braced myself and told myself "It's the purging, it WILL get better" So I continued and my face felt painful because of the pimples. I could see how rough my skin is when the light shines on it and I look in the mirror. I felt so ugly. Honestly. I waited another 2 weeks because that's what the representative at murad suggested. I just gave up. It was such a waste of money and effort. It takes so long to apply! I wasted time as well. It's not worth it. AT ALL. If you are acne prone, don't waste your time, there are so many other products out there that ACTUALLY works. If you've suffered just like me because of murad, I highly recommend Bioderma.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Facial Cleanser

I wanted to like this product. I really did. First off, I just finished using meds given by my dermatologist. I had good clear skin and after using a gentle cleanser to finish off the treatment, I switched to this product. At first I felt my skin feel really dry and tight. Then I continued using it just to see what happens. Wow. I should never have done that. Whiteheads and blackheads started to appear where the meds have cleared it up. Then I got blemishes on my cheeks which I never usually had. Now, most of my pores on my cheek and chin are clogged and I had to go back to my dermatologist for another treatment.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Extra Gentle Cleanser

I was on vacation when I ran out of the cleanser my dermatologist gave me. So I went to a store in the airport and found this. My mom has always trusted Neutrogena so I decided to try it out. I followed the directions carefully. After a while I noticed that my skin felt really soft and supple and it prevented pimples from forming. It felt good to wash my face with this and it actually feels like a luxury cleanser. I went from a place of warm weather then to a place of cold weather and my skin was still moisturized. It didn't leave a film on my skin and I didn't even need to use a toner or a moisturizer because it did the trick. I stopped using this product when I ran out because I couldn't find it in any store in the country where I live. I just switched to neutrogena deep clean facial cleanser because it's easier to find here.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Clear Complexion Cleansing Bar

First of all, I have moderate acne, sensitive-combination skin. I always bug my mom about it because I'm quite self-conscious. So one day mom came home with this. I was so excited to try this product because my mom trusts aveeno a lot. In the directions it says that you have to wash your face with lukewarm water. So I did that and used it consistently twice a day until the bar was small enough for me to stop using it. My skin felt so soft and supple and my acne reduced a lot in a time span of about 2 months. I did get an occasional spot every "time of the month". I live in a tropical country so I didn't even need to use a moisturizer because it's so gentle and moisturizing in itself. (plus, it smells really nice—not strong— unlike the foam version which I will be trying soon.

Mascara -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Mascara - Blacktastic

I love this mascara because it gives my eyelashes great volume and a little added length. It looks natural and really accentuates my eyes! My skin is a little oily though so I have to apply translucent powder under my eyes to keep from any smudging.

Pros: -It removed make-up beautifully. -It didn't make my skin dry, oily, blotchy. -It's also, very easy to use since all you need is a cotton pad and you just gently swipe it all over your face. -It made my skin dewy and moisturized! -It comes in big and small bottles(easy to carry around for traveling). Cons: -the packaging is simple but I have to put tape on the lid of the container when I put it in my luggage because it leaks a little. -You can only find this in Europe(there are buy1-take1 promos), some parts of Canada and Hong Kong (if you're in Asia like I am) Over-all, I would definitely buy again!
