This really doesnt do much for my hair. I got it just to try something new and ended up wishing I'd saved my money. It didnt cause any problems for my hair but it really didnt do anything great for it either. Seemed like a run of the mill shampoo. As for thickening, it did none of that.

Makeup Brushes -Laura Mercier - Flat Eyeliner Brush

To be honest, I have never used an eyeliner brush before. I figured I am too clumsy to have any decent turn out with this method of eyeliner application. Surprisingly this brush was really easy to use. It holds eyeliner powder very well and is flat enough to get right along the lash line with ease. I am so glad I bought this brush. I feel I can get more creative with my eyeliner using a brush.

Dries my nails much faster than a regular top coat plus gives my nails an amazing shine. Looks like I have my nails done by a pro. Great top coat!

This stuff does keep your nails from chipping. I can get a few days without any chips on my nails that usually chip in a few hours. On my toes, its been almost a week and no chips in sight. I will always use this stuff before polish unless I find another product thats better. This is well worth buying and does what it claims. Would recommend strongly.

I hate that I love this cream so much. It costs so much more money that I want to spend on a cream but my god did it make my skin look great. My skin tone became more even and the dryness of the skin on my face cleared up in just a few days. My skin was softer and younger looking after the first use. The cream itself looks and smells a lot like margarine to me but it doesnt leave my skin greasy which was shocking. Seriously, after using this cream, I never want to use anything else. I love it.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - All Day Hair Plump

Wow, I freakin' love this stuff. I know, I know, its insanely expensive. So expensive that I would never have tried it had I not gotten a free sample. However I did bring myself to buy this product because I only need about one squirt on my hair so the bottle will last me a long time. My hair is very straight and very thin but with this stuff my hair looks fuller and full of volume. Plus these effects last all day long. It also smells nicer than some of Frederic Fekkai's other products. If you have full thick hair to begin with, this product probably isnt worth spending the money on but if you have horrible thin, super straight hair that lies flat no matter what, this product is a god sent.

I am amazed at how incredibly this product works. I was really skeptical when I first laid eyes on this thinking it was yet another unnecessary product dreamed up by a make up company to increase their profits. I would never have tried this stuff had I not received it as a free sample. A little background info: My eyelashes are not so great. They are really straight and a bit on the short side. They respond to mascara by clumping together. They dont curl well or do anything that would look pretty so when I got this product as a sample I figured it couldnt hurt. The results were unreal. I have never seen my lashes look so long and thick. The base keeps my lashes from clumping together when I apply mascara which is something I thought impossible. It also adds more length to my lashes than I have ever before seen. I have only tried this product with Lancome's High Definicils Mascara so I cant say these results will be produced with other mascaras but this combo did wonders for my lashes.

Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Lip Glace

I am really surprised this product didnt get better reviews. I am not a huge fan of lip gloss which it why the product didnt get a 5 from me, however, as lip glosses go, I thought this one was exceptional. Really shiny, not as sticky as other glosses, and lasts a long time. I loved the way my lips looked wearing this gloss and am shocked so many others didnt like it.

Fragrances -Coty - Princess

This fragrance is different from what I am used to wearing. Its less sophisticated I guess you could say and has a very youthful quality about it. I could see how some people would think this is too sweet smelling but for me I like my fragrance to reflect my mood, clothes, and activities for the day so there are plenty of occasions where this fragrances suits me just fine. I love the fact that this perfume has a different but definitely feminine smell to it. I also LOVE the bottle it comes in. I hate thinking that I buy perfumes just because it comes in a cute bottle (like I was afraid of when I started wearing Juicy), but the bottle is totally cute.

Mascara -Awake - Stardom Roll Curl Mascara

Boy is this mascara crap. I dont know where they get off claiming that this product eliminates the need for an eyelash curler. Seriously, its like they didnt even try the product before making claims about it. Let me see if I can describe this mascara well enough so everyone can get an idea of what it is like. The wand is like a metal stick with notches carved into it and the mascara itself is pretty liquidy so the chances of you getting the mascara other places besides your lashes is almost guaranteed. The notches in the wand dont really help apply the mascara as much as they help to get your lashes to stick together creating terrible spider eyes. I hate this mascara and am sorry I ever bought it. At first I thought I was putting it on wrong because it looked so terrible but no, the product is just crap. I have no idea why anyone would care about the anti-humidity feature of this product. I have never heard anyone complain that humidity caused problems with their eye lashes but maybe thats just me. I will stick with my DiorShow mascara and never buy this garbage again. This is the worst mascara I have ever used.

Misc Beauty Tools -Laura Mercier - Loose Powder Puff

Surprisingly I thought these were pretty great. After I bought these they sat in my make up drawer for about 2 months before I got up courage to disregard my powder brushes for a day and experiment with these. They give a really nice matte finish and do help somewhat in keeping down the oiliness of your skin. I will make sure to have some of these on hand from now on. They dont look like much but really give some fantastic results. Plus they are $4 each so if you are reluctant to spend a good chunk of money on a powder brush give these a try in the interim.

Lip Gloss -Bobbi Brown - Glitter Lip Gloss

I am usually not very impressed with lip glosses. They all seem relatively similar to me with little differences between applicators, textures, and colors. I have yet to find a HG lip gloss. Having said that, I would compare these new glosses from Bobbi Brown to MAC's lipglass. You get the same type of shine and texture but a lot less color selection. For those unfamiliar with MAC's lipglass, it looks quite liquid on the lips and has that annoying quality that makes your hair stick to the gloss on a windy day. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying I think either of these products are crap, they just arent anything that hasnt been done before. If I had to choose between MAC and Bobbi Brown, I would go with MAC since you have more selection in colors and a slightly better applicator.

Concealers -Clinique - All About Eyes Concealer

I was more impressed with this product that I thought I would be. It gave good coverage but it settled into the fine lines around my eyes which was a major downer but I rarely find products that dont settle into lines. However, this product seemed to settle into the lines around my eyes more so that other products so one point off for that. I contribute this annoying downside to the loosness of the concealer. Thicker concealers dont settle as much but they also dont cover as well, so its a trade off. The concealer also claims to reduce the look of puffiness under the eyes but I dont really have a problem with that so I cant comment on that feature. Overall, I was surprisingly happy with this concealer and would def buy it again. The littlest amount of this stuff goes a long way so despite the little tube, it will last a long time. Good stuff.

To me, this has an old lady smell to it. It smells like something that a person who is in their 60's or beyond might like. However, that is not to say that it smells bad. Being a senior doesnt mean you smell bad by any means but to me this product is far from contemporary (which also doesnt make it bad, its just not really my cup of tea). On the other hand, the scent is almost classic in a way. It smells nice but not something I would want to drench myself in. The smell is also quite strong for my sensitive nose. I use it as a shower gel only and only at night. Honestly, I wouldnt want to go around smelling like this all day but at night time, its a nice clean scent and is comforting in a way that makes me feel relaxed when I want to go to sleep. As a shower gel, it lathers nicely but seriously, beware of the smell. This of how your grandmother smells when she gets all dressed up. She doesnt smell bad but def smells different that someone your age.
