Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation

Repurchase? Yes Price: I paid a little over $30 AUD at priceline Shade: I chose the lightest color, 51 Vanille Claire. There wasn't that big of a shade range so ladies with darker skin tones might not find a match. Product: This foundation claims to be "16 hours radiance boosting even, revived complexion." On the back of the bottle it also claims to be light coverage with a semi-matte undetectable finish. First of all, it does not wear 16 hours, but I did not expect it to. I found this foundation to have buildable medium coverage on me. It has a very natural almost undetectable finish but if you choose to build this foundation you can expect to have it become more made up looking. A natural finish is important to me as I go to a private independent school and makeup is not allowed. If you are caught you get handed a makeup wipe and a detention slip. I do not like detention but I also dislike having my skin problems on full show. It is a fine line I risk getting close to. Lol. So far this has not broken me out or irritated my skin although it smells strongly of a fruity perfume maybe?

Blush -MAC - Sheertone in Pinch O'Peach
rated 4 of 5

I use this as my everyday blush for school. I got to a private girls school and makeup is banned. Yet, most girls including me wear it anyway. This blush is matte and a peachy-pink natural shade that is similar to my natural flush. This gets 4 stars because it doesn't last ALL day on me but very close. I would repurchase as it is a mid-range brand therefore affordable for a high school student and is everything I need in an everyday blush.

Mascara -Rimmel - Sexy Curves

For reference: I have short, thick, light blonde eyelashes that can hold a curl Pros- -Dark black color -slightly curls eyelashes -my eyelashes looked thick and long -cheap ($10 US) -cute purple packaging -Lasts a long time -easy to remove Cons- -Flakes after 5-6 hours -smudges with the tiniest amount of water -slightly clumpy -hard to find in Australia Overall this is a pretty good mascara but for me the cons outweigh the pros and I would not repurchase.

Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation SPF 15
rated 4 of 5

I bought this foundation hoping it would be a natural looking foundation that wouldn't get noticed by teachers at my private school. I got shade 0 which was a close match, albeit a touch yellow. When I put this on it gives a heavenly glow to the skin and blurs out most imperfections. A couple hours later however and that glow turns into a greasy shine. I now use this foundation in the winter when it is dry outside and for pictures. I love the pump and wish all foundations had one. I don't like the price, over $80 AUD. It didn't make me break out which was appreciated. I would recommend this to ladies with dry skin looking for that glow.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
rated 3 of 5

I purchased this foundation when I used to live in the states, I think it was around $10 US. I haven't seen this in stores where I live but l'oreal foundations tend to run about $30 AUD. Crazy, I know. Well moving on, I got this in shade W1, which is too yellow for me, I think I have neutral undertones, but it is light enough. I am very pale, about n10. It also has spf 17, which is weird and sunscreen in foundations isn't good enough for australian UV rays anyway. It went on smoothly with a surprising level of coverage for such a thin foundation, about the same coverage as revlon color stay (normal to dry skinned version). It did look a little cakey around blemishes and patches of dry skin. To my dismay it had largely worn off by the end of school, but shame on me I did not use a primer. Also I noticed it rubbed off quite easily onto my phone and it left a mark on my expensive school blazer. The next day I noticed I had quite a few more clogged pores than the day before. All in all if you need a relatively high coverage foundation to wear on short days this may work for you but keep the reciept just in case.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
rated 2 of 5

I purchased organic virgin cold pressed coconut oil from my local health food store. I tried coconut oil as an alternative to moisturizer, as most clog my pores. The first night I washed my face, and when it was still damp, rubbed a few drops of coconut oil between my palms before patting it on my face. My god them smell! It was like heaven! The next day I noticed that the coconut oil seemed to help heal blemishes, but at the same time gave me many clogged pores and blackheads. So now I use coconut oil as an occasional spot treatment for a huge pimple that needs to be healed. I tried using it on my hair and it strengthened it like nothing else, but everywhere my hair touched I broke out. I broke out on my scalp even. I will try the oil pulling method for my teeth after I have my braces taken off and update. Overall, it was a mediocre product for me, but I still suggest you try coconut oil as everyones skin is different.
