I have been looking for a makeup setting spray that made me look dewey, and didn't suck up all the oil. Besides having a fantastic fragrace, it is intensly hydrating. I sprayed this on my beauty blender and applied foundation, and then sprayed my face twice after everything was applied. You do not need to keep re-applying this, it sets makeup beautifully and I really feel like I have a nice springtime glow. The price is "ok", but I am a MAC pro, so i got a 40% discount on this. I will def. purchase again. As a professional MUA, I will use this on clients that have drier skin, but still want their makeup to set.
I have to say, I have a lot better luck with UD primers and Mac Paints. Although the color of this primer is beautiful, my eyeshadow creased after a few hours of wearing this. I will not be repurchasing.
Hands down, the BEST applicator I have ever used. I hesitated for years using the BB and only bought the cheap knockoffs from Ulta. I am so glad I broke down and bought the real thing because there is nothing comparable. This blender makes my face look absolutely flawless and I can apply foundation, concealer in no time flat. Plus, it blends cream blushes and powders flawlessly! The price isn't cheap, as a professional MUA, I will stick to my airbrush machine for the flawless look, but worth it. I do wish they had a little travel case for it though.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
suanle23 12/20/2012 10:56:00 AM
I have tried numerous gel liners and none are creamier and longer lasting than MAC's Fluidline. This lasts all day without smudging at all! It is so soft, and you don't need a lot of product. Will repurchase again for sure.
Holy Crow, how did I live without this brush? It's fantastic for placement of eyeshadow in the crease while not using too much product! I bought the Sigma brush SS 217 and it just doesn't compare. Makes all the eyeshadow just blend together perfectly!
This is my "go to" summer lipstick. I absolutely love this. It's not too bright, and it glides on perfectly. It seemed a little chalky at first, but it's satin enough that you don't have to put gloss on. Occasionally, I do like to layer on some Rosebud Salve, just for a hint of gloss!
Foundations -Avon - Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Liquid Foundation
suanle23 6/13/2012 3:24:00 PM
I have to say, for the price (I got it on sale for $8.99) it is right up there with some of the more expensive brands. No offensive smells, and the coverage is really beautiful. It doesn't feel heavy at all on my skin. The only bad thing is the pump. It is very stiff and once you get a pump out, it splatters everywhere. I have learned to be very careful with this one. Still, I will buy again!
Love love love this product! I can't believe I never ever tried the convertible colors before. The fuschia is so gorgeous and so bright on the skin, a little goes a long way. The best thing about this product is the staying power. I have used a lot of cream blushes that have just melted off during the day but this truly stays on.
Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Length Fiber Extensions
suanle23 3/6/2012 4:07:00 PM
I was devastated when Maybelline discontinued Illegal Lengths as I loved that formula. When they came out with this, I was excited to try. I actually like the formula in this one as well. The brush is really great because it is thin and I feel like I can get every lash. I didn't see a significant difference in the length of them at all, but it stayed put the entire day and my lashes were soft.
I have to say, I am very picky when it comes to crease brushes because I feel like it can make or break the look of your makeup. Usually I've been using the crease brush from MAC but felt it was way too pliant. This is soft but stiff enough to blend just the right amount. I received this brush with the Naked2 and went out immediately and bought a spare one.
Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared
suanle23 12/7/2011 11:35:00 AM
I wanted to love this product, however I decided to try something other than L'oreal Voluminous and this product doesn't deliver. Not as dark as L'oreal and I feel like it really doesn't create as much 'volume" as it claims. I also tried 4 coats and it still looked like I had nothing on. On a good note, it does not clump or flake or smudge until I am ready to take it off, that's pretty good for a mascara. I'm also not a fan of the brush that tends to "bend" when I put makeup on. I like a stiff brush because I feel like I have more control over the application of the mascara
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
suanle23 9/23/2011 1:02:00 PM
The price isn't so cheap, and the packaging was pretty bad but the quality of this stuff is pretty amazing. My eyeshadow didn't budge the entire work day, no creasing. NOTHING. I will buy again for sure!
WORST KABUKI BRUSH EVER! At first, I actually thought it was the foundation that made my face feel different, but this brush scratches you, and sheds ALL OVER MY FACE! I stopped using Bare Escentuals because I thought the formula was drying out my face, but I switched the brush with the Dior Powder Foundation brush and it works fine!
I bought this cream during the cold winter months here in NYC. I've had great experiences with the line before and the saleslady at L & T told me it should work during the winter and even the beginning of summer. I don't know what ingredient is in this cream but my pores got so clogged from using this. At first, I thought it was another product so I stopped them both al-together. A few months ago I decided to give this cream another shot. NG! Clogged my pores up all over again. It's a shame, I love Bobbi Brown products but this just didn't do it for me.
I had extremely high hopes for this product especially after everyone raved about it. I used this at nighttime in conjunction with my moisturizer. After about a week, my face ERUPTED with tiny little bumps. This product also take FOREVER to sink into your skin. I will not be buying again
