Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

I have tried to apply revlon colorstay multiple different ways a brush(sigma f80 and a blush brush), my fingers, a beauty blender and this foundation just does not agree with my skin. I have very much on the oily side of skin types and a lot of redness (I am pretty pale). As soon as I put this foundation on it looks cakey right away and it sits in the lines of my skin. I am only 21 so I don't have any wrinkles. As soon as I put this on it looks like I have a bucket of foundation on. I don't know what to do to make this work for me because I have just heard rave reviews about it from everyone. On the plus note the color matches me perfect and it covered all my redness in one layer. This reminds me of the estee lauder double wear and the color even matched me better. I think this would be a foundation I would only wear at night and if my skin was more red than normal. Overall I would say this product was a fail for me. Such a bummer.
