Love this colour! In the bottle and when I apply it I try to work out if it is pink or red. When it dries it is red one me. I don't wear red often because I find it's too harsh on me but because it leans towards pink it looks great! As mbrow222 said, it's a hot pink version of burgandy. Goes on really bright! Love it. I had my first pro manicure with this colour and still have a soft spot for it years later!
I second what the ladies beaneath me have said. I use this as eyeshadow base before I apply any eyeshadow. It evens out my eyelids and makes my eyeshadow stay as bright as when I applied it and doesn't allow it to crease! This is amazing stuff. Painterly is almost the same shade as my NW15 skin so I can wear it alone. I also apply a bit under my eyes to act as concelaer. You only need the tiniest bit. If you apply it too heavily it won't work as well. It's wirth the price. A pot will last me forever.
I really like this product! I'ts cheap and simple to use. The packaging works really well- there is a pump spray with a plastic cap that fits well. The bottle is made from sheer black plastic that looks quite sophisticated. It gets all the colour out of my brushes without damaging them and drying them out. It dries fast so I use it in between eyeshadow colours. All I do is spray some on a tissue then run my brushes through it until they are soaked through and the colour is wiping out. It keeps them so fresh!
This is my HG skin scrub! It's gentle enough to use everyday but I usually mix it up and use this twice a week and a gentle cleanser in between. I have combination skin that is prone to both oiliness and flakiness. I also have a lot of annoying blackheads. Herbalism deals with grease really well without being harsh and drying and it gets rid of flakiness without bringing up more flakey skin. It doesn't get rid of my blackheads (nothing does!) but they look minimised after I use it. It's worth the price. A pot lasts me months and months.
I agree with what has already been said. This lipstick is glossy, in fact it feels more like lipgloss on the lips than a lipstick. It is definately not sticky. I really like it because I've never tried a lip product like it. but feels very moisturising. The colour is just perfect for everyday. A sheer rosey colour. It's rather sheer and doesn't last long, are my only complaints. I think it's Dior's more youth oriented range, and would be perfect for a girl trying pout lipstick for the first time who is used to lipgloss.
Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Velvet Creme Matte Makeup with SoftFlex

There's no way to avoid it- this foundation is oily. I think that's the reason for the low rating. People assume matte make up will be great for oily skin, but what matters is the formulation and this is greasy. But if you have normal or dry skin this could suit you. It sets to a matte finish put when you touch your skin it still feels 'wet' and greasy. The coverage is pretty good for a foundation that does not feel heavy on your face. It would be medium coverage I think. I like the packaging. It comes in a tube but it has a pump. Very handy. A little goes a long way, so a tube will last a long time.
From the MAC site: 'A creamy, luxurious, gel-based foundation that provides medium buildable to high coverage with a natural satin finish. Hydrating, instantly revitalizes the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long-wearing, water-resistant.' I'd agree with all of that and it's not often that I agree with everything cosmetic companies claim about their products. The coverage is fantastic. i'm using the wrong shade at the moment but I still can't help reaching for it when I'm doing my face because it's such a fantastic formulation.
The quality for such a cheap polish is amazing. These last like nothing else except OPI. They dry fast and don't stay tacky. The colour range is really exciting. These don't chip! I have a few red ones- cherry bomb, pop pink, and another I can't find. I love them all.
This is much more of a sunscreen than a daily moisturiser. It smells like a sunscreen which I find very off-putting. It isn't greasy though and provides SPF 30 which is great if you are the sun most days.
Powder -Maybelline - Mineral Power Powder Foundation

This is fairly full coverage for a powder foundation. Covers freckles and all. It's really easy to apply with the matching brush. The powder lasts forever as you only need a little each time. I'm going to be using this all summer as it's very good for controlling oil.
This is a nice general feminine perfume but it's not any special in my opinion. The white cedar, amber, and sweet musk base is very distinct. The rest is just a fresk floral fragrance. This was a gift and I would not buy it for myself.
This has to be my favourite all time perfume. I love everything from the box and the bottle to the scent and the color of it in the bottle. The scent is gorgeous and feminine. It's a 'younger' fragrance but it's for a refined and classy young person who appreciate quality. This is timeless and I save it for special occasions. The Dior site say the notes are: Italian mandarin, Jasmine, Patchouli. Others say they can also smell strawberry, musk and jasmine which I agree with but I've seen it described as 'caramel popcorn' which I don't get at all.

This stuff actually works and does all it promises to do! It's worth the price tag and will last your forever. The instructions leaflet inside the box gives you lots of healpful hints. It has very noticeable improved the quality of my nails. i can't recommend it enough.
Primer/ Corrector -Rimmel - Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer

This primer works for me which is a definate improvement over others I've tried. It is a colored creme. I have it in 001 which is the palest version however it is still quite a strong orange color and if it was any darker it would show through my make up. (I am usually the lightest or 2nd lighest shade in a range of foundations.) It is cheap and definately not oily so I will be repurchasing when it runs out.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - White Musk Extra Rich Body Cream

This scent is delicious- definately not a candy sweet one. For some unknown reason I think it is very masculine. It reminds me of a nice aftershave or something male. It's not a moisturiser I'd use for the moisturising properties. I put it on when I'm going out at night. I have the smooth satin version which has a nice sheen to it.
