I Looove this. It smells so good. Like sniff the bottle until you become lightheaded good. It cleanses my hair really well and doesn't leave it filmy or dry. I can get overzealous with the suds and it's still easy to rinse out. Pretty simple, but very effective.
I don't have eyelashes, so anytime a product gives me some, it's a big deal. I regret to say this product didn't do that for me. Sometimes I wonder if companies purposely do things, like take away a perfectly HG product. Then create a bunch of new products that all have the same name but a different color on the band, making it impossible for someone with ADD (like me) to take the time to find out what the difference is between XXL Pro Daddy Longlegs and XXl Pro Baby Daddy Longlegs. The Falsies didn't work for me, even after trying different techniques to apply it. My lashes became clumpy with no length. The packaging colors were pretty retro, the Fuschia and Teal took me back to Crayola days. Don't get me wrong, I love alot of Maybelline Mascaras, like Lash Discovery, but what I'm really trying to say is, bring back Lash Stylist already. I miss it. =(
The only powder I've worn in the past 3 years. I decided to walk up to a counter not wearing any makeup and barged in after a trip to the beach, crispy and covered in salt. This Nicole Scherzinger lookalike took one look at me and gave me C6. Perfect match. It doesn't oxidize or make me look ashy, it's a very warm shade with yellow undertones. What I like is that it even blends in with my skintone during winter months. The texture is almost creamy. My only gripe is the price. If you drop it, which I have done with two different compacts, prepare to cry.
They're dramatic, but the lashes are clustered evenly and look seamless on the lashline. Creates a lush, voluminous look and eIongates my eye shape. I snip them to fit along where my pupils begin, and it creates a mod, sweeping at the corners, sleepy eyed effect. I have really short eyelashes so I'm obsessed with falsies and these are my favorite style.
I've been using this for years but sadly, I've been slacking and can definitely tell the difference. I began using this after double processing my haircolor from black to blonde. If your hair is not damaged, you probably won't notice a difference. But if your hair is damaged, you'll see results even after one use. If you had a a severe dye job/bleach/chemical process that has left your hair feeling gummy or fragile, use this. Breakage? Use this. It isn't a product that just makes the hair feel better, it actually repairs the hair and stops breakage. I would use this every six weeks and my hair grew the longest it has ever been, which was amazing because I was toning and touching up roots every month, not to mention using a flat iron! Since I have stopped using the product (almost a year), my hair has been breaking and is not nearly as healthy or long as it once was. The process itself sucks in every way, the product smells like cat pee and it's sticky, too messy to apply from straight from the bottle, have to use a spray bottle that ends up getting clogged, takes so long to dry that my hand gets a cramp from my hairdryer. But it's so worth it.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler
stilettoheel 6/8/2010 3:54:00 PM
I've tried so many different eyelash curlers, and this is the only one I can use BEFORE mascara and produce a perfect curl. The clamp has a spring mechanism that you squeeze to curl the lashes, making it easier to apply whatever amount of pressure I want. The handles are made of plastic and shaped like scissors, very comfortable. Okay, so it looks like something that you'd see on the tray during a gyno exam, but the shape produces results! Better than any metal curler or heated that I've owned. I can create a perfect curl, no weird straight up in the air lashes or odd angles. The curler came in a cute box with an extra pad provided. I'm amazed that this was only $1, it definitely puts other, more expensive ones to shame!
Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Posh Mini Brush Set
stilettoheel 6/8/2010 3:18:00 PM
I got this from Kmart about a year ago, the brushes are gorgeous, black and metallic red. The flat brush white the white bristles are my favorite, don't know how to explain but it's different from the other brushes, more stiff, and applies eyeliner very well. I did not receive any blush or face brushes in the set. The case is very small and a little hard to zip, but still adorable!
Love it! I had an old discontinued Prestige taupe shadow that I used everyday as the perfect crease shade, until I ran out. I couldn't find a dupe anywhere! Every lookalike I tried would either be too muddy, too warm, just no good. But this shadow is an exact match! It's a beautiful, glowy taupe that makes a great crease shade. On me it's more silvery, with no warm tones. And only $2, a steal!
Conditioner -Neutrogena - triple moisture deep recovery hair mask
stilettoheel 6/3/2010 1:27:00 PM
Probably the best drugstore hair masque out there. I've used this after stripping/bleaching, and it keeps my hair soft, and smooth, takes away any dryness or brittle ends. The only thing I don't like about it is there's such a small amount in the jar, enough for 2 or 3 uses if you have long hair.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Visibly Even Foaming Cleanser

This product works! I have olive skin, and I scar and get hyperpigmentation very easily. I had a set of breakouts on my chin that left me with dark brown acne scars that I've had for almost a year. I bought this product two weeks ago, and have been using it in the shower every morning. I just massage it over my face and rinse, it's a creamy scrub that doesn't really foam much at all. After washing I noticed that it left spots on my face dry and peeling, but then realized it was only in the areas where I had hyperpigmentation. I could literally see the dotted scars peeling away while the rest of my face stayed normal. It wasn't as noticeable as the day went on. This was not painful or irritating, but I wouldn't recommend wearing foundation as the skin is exfoliating. After two weeks, already there has been a huge difference! A few of my scars have faded completely and the more severe ones are slightly pink. My scars are almost completely gone, and my skin looks so much brighter. I've even stopped wearing foundation! I've tried so many different cleansers, creams, exfoliants, peels that didn't give results. I don't know what's in this product that's any different, but it works. While the results don't happen overnight, it's nice to see it exfoliating the spots away over time and leaving me with clearer, more even skin. If these are the results I've gotten after just two weeks I'm excited to see what the results will be in a month. Now I'm curious to see if the other products in the line are as good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to even out their skintone and fade hyperpigmentation or acne scars!
Gels/Soaps -Olay - Total Effects 7 in 1 Anti-Aging Extra Nourishing

Wow, this bodywash is amazing!! I first received it as a sample, and immediately fell in love with it. The consistency is super thick and creamy and smells amazing! It's definitely a strong bottled fragrance-type smell. It lathers well and keeps my skin moisturized. It's strange because checking the ingredients I saw that there was mineral oil in this and immediately thought it would cause breakouts. Most other body washes have left my skin either dry or with a few chest/back breakouts, but amazingly, since using this body wash I have not had one break out, and it never leaves my skin dry! The first time I purchased it I paid $10, but since I've found the product for around $5.99 and always find $1 off coupons, so this product is a steal for the price! I definitely recommend it..
Why didn't I try this sooner? I worked with a girl who had the most beautiful, dark, thick lashes, and she told me she used Telescopic, but still I waited. I regret not trying it sooner! Telescopic makes my short, thin, straight lashes, and makes them long, thick, and easy to curl. It gives a voluminous false eyelash effect. Warning, this mascara is not for those wanting a natural lash look. It can give you spidery lashes if not applied properly. The brush is rubber with little zigzag "teeth", and you glide and wiggle your lashes in between. I would compare this to the now discontinued Maybelline Lash Stylist. It doesn't hold a curl as amazing as Waterproof LS does, but gives the same length and effect. I love it!
Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Cream Eyeshadow in Gotham
stilettoheel 2/10/2010 5:53:00 PM
I'm really upset this product was discontinued, and the new formula and new color "Asphalt" is not the the same! Gotham is my HG! It's a shimmery black shade that dried to a perfect, smokey but waterproof finish. I could apply it with my pinky finger and it would last all day. Goof proof. Discovered it years ago and have gone through many tubes since. Ebay is the only place I can order it. I discovered the new black shade Asphalt, but its not the same. Asphalt is black with silver glitter.
Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stylist Waterproof ] [DISCONTINUED]
stilettoheel 1/20/2010 4:41:00 AM
May you rest in peace, Waterproof Lash Stylist. I find myself scouring dusty backroad grocery stores and Beall's Outlets, to find these discontinued tubes. And they are hard to find! Best mascara ever, held a curl amazing. I would layer this with L'Oreal Voluminous to get false lashy fringe on my stubby stick straight lashes. Amazing. Nothing compares to it. Not even the regular formula. I miss you.
Eye Shadow -Sally Girl - Mini Baked Eyeshadow - Grey Purple

Silvery Lilac shade that is shimmery and metallic without being too frosty, great pigmentation and quality!
