Lip Treatments -LUSH - Lip Balm - Let Them Eat Cake (LE)

I normally love everything from LUSH and this smelled amazing so I thought i'd pick one up for my secret santa gift and one for myself. I put it on and when I accidentily tasted it I wanted to gag. It tastes SO bad. If I ever kissed someone while wearing this I'd be so embarassed lol. Blegh. The taste ruins it for me because everytime I lick my lips at all it makes me sick.
I got this in a gift set and i'm in love with it. It doesn't quite smell like roses but that's fine with me because I love the smell. It reminds me of starbursts and it smells delicious. It makes my skin really soft and it came in a nice little plastic case so I have no complaints.
i liked this the first couple of nights i used it but i'm not so sure anymore. at first it looked like it was minimizing my pores and i was really happy about that but now my skin is breaking out. my skin hasn't really been bad lately, the main reason i got this bar was to eliminate blackheads and the look of my pores which it seems to help with.. pores at least. it's only been two weeks but i've been getting random zits, more than usual; two new ones on my chin/jawline and a bunch of little ones on my forehead where i NEVER break out. it could be partly because of stress, but i'm still afraid to keep using it. i've heard that it can make your skin worse before it gets better (purging?) but i DONT want that lol.. :/. my 19th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and i dont need my skin breaking out badly before it clears up, thats just defeating the purpose IMO. i think i'm going to go back to my old cleanser.
i LOVE this in black. it goes on incredibly smooth and lasts a long time for a pencil on both my lid and waterline. the reason i gave it a 4 is because for some reason, i don't get the same results with the purple one i bought. it doesn't go on as smoothly and it won't go on my waterline really at all. i'll stick with it in black and keep searching for my purple.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Lineworks Waterproof Liquid EyeLiner in Black

best liquid eyeliner i've ever used. first of all, it's felt tipped - which is a must have. liquid eyeliners that aren't felt tipped are much harder to work with, felt tipped eyeliners give you a lot more control and are easy to apply. second of all, it has amazing staying power. i wore it on prom last year and it stayed beautifully all night long and was still on in the morning :P. third of all, it's affordable!
First off, I'm allergic to hair dye, I had a severe reaction to PPD last year and had my face swell up; very terrifying. I vowed never to dye my hair again but this is obviously an exception because it's natural. I have to say the process is pretty annoying but it's very much worth it. I break it down by grating it and then pour hot tap water over it and mix it into the paste. Honestly, I actually like the smell of it unlike most people. It smells like tea and coffee and I don't find it offensive. I use 3 cubes, leave it on for 3 hours and it gives awesome results. I have a kind of mousy - medium brown hair colour and it turns it into a nice, deep chestnut brown colour and makes it extremely shiny and healthy.
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner

The formula itself is okay, it takes a bit to dry but otherwise it's nice and lasts a long time. The brush is pretty bad though, I must say. It's fairly long and very flimsy and hard to work with. I'm usually very good at putting on liquid eyeliner but this takes me a lot longer to put on than any felt tipped eyeliner.
it's not terrible but it's not so great either. it was cheap and i thought it might be better than the original great lash so i decided to give it a try. it's a tad disappointing though, i had to go over my lashes a million times to get any impact and the brush is almost too big - kind of annoying to work with. it gives decent results but lash blast is so much better IMO and easier to work with.
i love this. the packaging doesn't bother me either. it makes my lips really soft and moisturized with a nice light pink sheen and lasts a long time. also, it cleared up 2 zits that i had OVERNIGHT and left no mark or scar, they were just gone with smooth skin. it took away a few dry patches i had as well. i use it on my lashes at night as well. love love love.
Eyeliner -Almay - Intense i-Color Bring Out the Brown in Purple Amethyst

i love the colour. it makes my brown eyes look better than any other eyeliner. i can usually only find a dark plum shade when looking for purple but this is really nice. i hate how much it smudges and melts though, that's the only problem. i wish it lasted longer.
this is now my favourite lip balm :) i've been using lip smackers for years but for some reason i never tried pink lemonade. this smells and tastes so good and keeps my lips soft but not sticky and shiny which i love. it also stops my lips from being chapped.
this works great as an makeup remover for me, it comes right off and never tugs or causes my lashes to break off. i no longer have to spend money on removers and it made my lashes and the skin around my eyes look really nice. i use it on my lips at night and if i want to have super smooth skin i'll put a somewhat thick layer of it on my face and then when i get out of the shower it's soo soft and doesn't cause breakouts. i really want the lip care but i sadly can't find it around here.
I don't usually wear foundation but when I do I love this one. I don't like feeling like I'm wearing a lot of makeup and the sheerness is good for me and it's never broken out my sensitive skin.
Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stylist Mascara ] [DISCONTINUED]

honestly, the worst mascara i've ever used. SO clumpy! it literally clumped my lashes into like 5 sections and i had to take it off right after because it looked so bad. full and soft remains to be my favourite mascara.
Ew. This looked disgusting on my skin. even the ivory shade turned out really orangey and looked really cakey even if I just used a small amount and blended well. I bought it because I liked the little container and thought the texture was interesting but it looked so awful, dry and chalky. bleh. Only good thing was the packaging.
