Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Chocomania Body Butter

I have been using The Body Shop Body Butters for years as my main body moisturiser. I love them and can't get enough, however, this product is just plain awful! My fiance said it smells like dirty feet, which I think is pretty bang on! It clumped on my skin, isn't very moisturising. A waste of $27AUD. On a side note: Why do the Body Shop never do sales in Australia like they do overseas?
I wanted to like this so bad! It smells fine to me, the consistancy is rich and creamy and it lathers well. The bottle is pretty, although always falls over in the shower. My problem with is is that it makes my scalp insanely itchy and gives me dandruff. My scalp looks greasy while my ends are fluffy. Would not buy again.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Vanilla Spice Body Butter

I bought this when I was braving my first Chicago winter (I'm from a really humid city in Australia). I found this body butter more moisturising that most moisturisers, but was not impressed with it. The Strawberry, Olive, Mango, Moringa, Brazil Nut are far more moisturising. Smell is lovely though and I was stoked with the price. I picked up a tub for $10USD where it would be closer to $30USD in my home town - so for that it gets extra marks :)
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter

Even though we are only two days into Autumn in sunny humid Queensland, I rushed out of work today to buy some winter beauty essentials for the office in preparation of slightly cooler weather. I have wanted to try Burt's Bees products for ages and so now that I need a new lip balm for my desk, I thought I'd try the Mango one as it seemed the most hydrating and moisturising in the range. I bought the product at 11am and its now 2pm and I have applied it three times already. Over lunch I felt like my lips were super dry even though this morning they were fine and I had just applied. I feel like this product pretty much is gone within 15mins after applying, and my lips feel dryer after using it. My $2 Diva lip balm does a better job in moisturising and staying power than this. Its only day one so perhaps the condition of them will get better again after using over a longer period of time. I love the packaging and the smell is ok. I think there are better lip balms out there.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Coconut Body Butter

As with nearly all the body shop body butters this is an extremely moisturising and wonderful scented product. It is a great summer moisturiser as it is suited for normal/dry skin which you wouldn't want anything heavier than that in summer. If only it was cheaper as I find I go through a tub of this in a week - 2 weeks and at $27AUD it is a very expensive for twice daily use!
This fragrance reminds me of my teenage years. I wore it religiously! It is fresh and fruity fragrance in a cute blue bottle that comes in all sizes which is really handy. The only reason I do not currently own this is because there are so many newer fragrances released over the last few years that I haven't had the cash to spend on an old favourite. However I can deffinately see myself buying it again in the future as it is perfectly suited for day wear.
Styling Products -TiGi - Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray

I would buy this hairspray for the scent alone! It smells so fruity! I get lots of comments when I use it. It is a medium hold hair spray and I love every bit about this spray except the lid because it is kind of difficult to get on and off sometimes... other than that it is perfection!
Fragrances -Paris Hilton - Heiress by Paris Hilton

This is one of my favourite fragrances! It is so fresh and fruity. It reminds me of the smell of the hairdressers and strawberries. It is a very girly fragrance. I always get so many compliaments on how great it smells. I think the bottle is really cute too!
I have a love hate relationship with the foundation. I love the price, I love the colour range for my skin as I find most colours to be warm based (I wear Natural in Winter and Medium Beige in Summer), the price is great (about $24AUD), and I love that it is stocked by Priceline. However - I find this foundation comes off quite easily, especially in the summer heat of Brisbane and even with a primer, and I go extremely shiny wearing it. I have bought 3 containers of this foundation over the winter so I don't want to bag it but I think it is better suited for dryer skin or a winter foundation or perhaps for someone who lives in a cooler climate.
I would have to agree with many of the other reviews by saying this is possibly the most amazing product out there! I have super frizzy afro-like unmanagable curly hair that is naturally black/brown but i dye platnum blonde. Using just a small amount of this transforms my hair to be soft and silky which is amazing. I find it works best if i add it to my hair and blow dry my hair in sections using a round or flat brush straight after I have gotten out of the shower. For anyone with damaged or unruly hair I cannot reccomend highly enough!
It made my lips sting and was the first reaction I have ever had to a beauty product. Would not buy again.
I love this! It is just beautiful to use and I never get white marks! Price is soooo cheap too!
I really like the eyeliner. It is very smooth and lasts a really long time. I also like that it comes with a sharpener too. I will repurchase again.
I used to LOVE this foundation. I think over the last few years I bought so many bottles! My coulour is True Beige and I really liked it. I did find it clogged my pores. The only reason I changed is because I get bored after awhile of using the same thing! But I am glad I did change cause I am now using the Modelco Fluidsplash which I like much better. I do like the way the Revlon Colourstay comes in Oily/Combination and Normal/Dry as I would alternate between each in winter and summer but I found this foundation quite think so I dont think I will go back for some time. I would recommend it for 30+ skin
Self Tanners -St.Tropez - St.Tropez Tinted Self Tanning Mousse/Whipped Bronze
stephanie86 3/21/2008 7:03:00 AM
This is one of the best fake tanners on the market. However... I do have a few issues with it. The first of which - sometimes my skin takes the colour really well and other times it doesnt and washes straight down the drain the next morning! Very frustrating! I use the St Tropez Polisher and moisturiser with it and they smell lovely. The colour is really nice, more brown than anything. The price doesnt bother me as I get quite a few aplications out of it.
