Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco

Love the smell of this stuff but it by end of day my roots are oily. Now if I ever feel like my hair needed a lot of moisture I would buy this shampo again. Sometimes I just want to buy it again b/c of the smell. I still sometimes use the conditioner on my ends.

Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Quenching Shampoo

Like using this with creme de cocoa conditioner. My roots would get oily by end of day with creme de cocoa shampoo but not this one. I have blond hi-lights so I like a little bit of moisture but can't have too much in humid FL. Woud describe this as moisturizing but doesn't weigh down or make my straight hair any flatter.

Love love love the smell of this line. I can't use the shampoo b/c my roots get oily by the end of the day. However, I can use the quench shampoo and this conditioner on the ends of my hair.

Cannot say I re-buy every bumble product but I have with this one. The conditioner is light so it doesn't make my straight hair completely oily and flat yet still hydrates my hair. Can't say I use this everyday but like to use it a couple times a week.

Cleansers -Cerave - Foaming Facial Cleanser

Use this in the evening along with my oil of olay scrubber. This cleanser is pretty good b/c it doesn't dry out my skin yet still cleans!Doesn't break out my skin any worse and probably has helped clear it up (although I think I need rosacea med for bumps). Reminds me of a cetaphil but actually foams and cleans. Also, love the pump.

I use this only in the morning before I put on my makeup ,so there is something between my skin and the makeup. It has definitely decreased the redness (about 50%). After reading some of the reviews before I bought this product, I try to be careful it does not dry out my skin too much. Sometimes I will wait around 15 minutes after I wash my face before I put it on (years ago was told not to put on Retin A right after washing my face as it helps with the drying effect). Also sometimes I will add just a touch of water to the gel to get a even thinner layer. But I do use it every morning and think it helps. Not with my acne/bumps so much but mostly with redness.

Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser

This cleanser is kind of different from other cleansers I have had or use. It is very creamy yet still foams. Very good for my sensitive (suspected rosacea) skin. Doesn't dry out my skin or leave it oily... just right.

I suspect I have rosacea and this is one of the few products which I can use and does not aggrevate/break out my skin. Seems to actually make my face a little less red.

Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

Ok, so I did not want to shell out the money for a clarisonic. Using this to cleaning my face is definitely an improvement as opposed to my previous method (wash cloth- I know very bad). upside- cost, gentle brush, really does a good job of cleaning even if you wear lots of makeup. downside- the brush was stained after the very first use, which I cannot seem to get white again. Although, I do wear a rather thick coating of Estee Lauder makeup to hide my rosacea red face. Perhaps I was supposed to wash my face before I used it (??). So I still give my face a quick soap up and rinse off after I use the scrubber on my face. I would still recommend this product as a gentle and effective way to thoroughly clean the face Also, use my own cleansers (Cerave foaming cleanser). UPDATE weeks later and still use this every day in the evening (to ensure my makeup is really off). Face feels so clean afterwards. Figured out if I use a soft manicure brush it cleaned the brush at the bottom where the bristle attach to plastic (that was what appeared to be stained and is clean now). I just wash my face a bit before using the scrubber too. My face is definitely softer. I still need to get some meds for rosacea but my face is better. Also at one point I felt my face was breaking out worse from the scrubber but I think it was just purging and is better now

Liquid -Jane Iredale - Liquid Minerals

Okay so this is a strange foundation. So far I have only applied it a few times so hopefully I can up the rating at some point. I use the pressed base, so figured I would like the liquid as well. Perhaps there is some trick to applying this foundation and I need more experience. Although I never had problems applying other liquid foundations. There are liquid foundation balls suspended in a clear liquid (aloe vera, I guess). A good way to describe this foundation is imagine taking a liquid foundation and then in your hand mixing it with a clear liquid. It doesn't mix very well so the foundation color separates from the liquid and you have to mix it up. I put it on my face and it still separates so I had to rub it in really hard to get the foundation to smooth out. Not sure if this is going to work out for me.

One word description: SHEER. Not for me, but if I will admit it did not break out my sensitive skin, good for a wet or dry application, and like the spf. Good packaging b/c there is a separate place for the sponge.

Palettes -MAC - Devil May Dare Warm eye palette

First of all the brush is way better than last year's holiday kit (I can actually use it). I was not quite sure if I would like the colors but it was the best choice for my coloring so I went with it. I have to use an eyeshadow primer (Merle Norman) as the some of the colors are midtone and show up light on me but work and last great w/ the primer. I really like prankster (olive toned vellux) and gold tease (mid tone gold frost). Oh my darling (pale cream frost) is great for a brow high lighter. I really like to wear these frosty colors in combination w/ some matte eyeshadows I already have. Have yet to use the others but so far just validates the reason why I am very loyal to MAC for eyeshadows. One last comment, I did not feel MAC's website showed the colors very accurately. I went on Dillards.com website and the colors were shown much closer to the actual colors.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Extra Volume Collagen mascara

I really like this mascara. I have been using covergirl lash blast but did note quite like the brush. Saw an interview with the loreal celebrity rep Eva longoria??sp. Anyway she said this is the one product of loreal that she has to have, so I decided to give it a try. The brush is way better than covergirl's; I can get the inner corner lashes. Also less clumping. I get a good coverage without a ton of work which makes me happy.

Shampoo -Nexxus - dualiste shampoo

This is for the anti-breakage one. I have used some other Nexxus hair products and liked them. This one is the same. This week I used this shampoo. It is pretty impressive to me. My hair feels soft yet not super flat or oily (I have straight hair). I have high lights, low lights, and blow dry my hair everyday. The shampoo does seem to be a good restorative shampoo and will soon buy the conditioner.
