My HG has been NARS orgasm for a long time now. After trying this it is my new HG blush without a doubt! It is sooo pretty. On my skin which can sometimes get a little dry from time to time in the blush area, this applies very smooth onto my cheeks almost like a cream blush. My NARS while beautiful can get a little powdery looking sometimes. In comparison to NARS this also is less sparkly, and has a more glowy look to it.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush

I have two of these brushes. I use one for blush and one for contouring, and they are great! No shedding and I always get the right amount of product, and a good application.
I like the Opal but I'm still on the fence if I really need this product. I have bad dark circles (part heredity, part year round allergies), and anything that comes onto the market that claims to diminish puffiness/dark circles I usually try it. When I bought my MIA I saw this and was curious, but for the price I wasn't going to just jump. I did some research and bit. So many people claimed what a big difference it made. So then I decided I had to have it. It does feel good (which is probably my favorite part). Overtime some of the darkness and puffiness have diminished and yes , the fine lines around my eyes do seem to be less noticable. But overall its not a huge dramatic effect like I look so much more refreshed thing, this is why I am on the fence. While I like it and think it has helped a little I'm not sure if I would repurchase. In fact my first one stopped working for no reason at all so I had to take it back to Sephora for an exchange. That makes me wonder how reliable this product will be after the warranty wears off. So over all I think I would repurchase but not 100% sure.
This product is just ....meh. Its ok, and I have used it for the last year. But I'm not going to be buying it anymore. Its just too expensive and I'm over it. At first I thought my skin looked better, but I'm guessing my skin got used to it and I don't really notice any great anti aging effects anymore. Nice texture, but I did get little white bumps that I never had before under my eyes that my dermatologist had to remove. I think it was this. I don't use it anymore, what wasn't taken off is dimishing as far as the white bumps go. Yah I'm totally over this stuff.
Lipstick -MAC - Sheen Supreme Lipstick - Asian Flower

I saw this at my MAC counter and although it looked a little loud I was intreged. The MA said since it was a sheen supreme it would be pretty sheer. I dont know about that b/c there still was a lot of color but it was beautiful. I topped it with pretty please lipstick by MAC and it was such a perfect color. I originally thought this lipstick was going to just like Up the AMP, but Up the Amp is so much more dramatic, and this is a color you could get away with everyday. This is also my first experience with MAC sheen line (which I had no interest in trying originally) However I bought 2 more today b/c I like them so much. There not as drying as the original MAC lipsticks, I think they are my new favorite thing by MAC!
Yuck. I have dark under eye circles and the SA at Sephora recomended this. It looked ok at the store so I bought a tube. With in 30 minutes I looked in the mirror again, and it got SO cakey and filled in every fine line in my eye area. I gave it another try the next day...same thing. Yuck Yuck Yuck...to heavy for under the eye, I took this back.
This is probably one of my favorite hair product finds ever! I originally started using it when my hair was brown and I had blonde highlights throughout to brighten up the blonde when they would start to fade, and it worked great! Now my hair is pretty much all blonde and this shampoo is a lifesaver. You know when your hair starts looking dull and your itching to go drop money at the hairdressor to brighten your look back up? If you go through that this is for you. It instantly brightens everything back up and buys me more time in between my highlights. I could not live with out this stuff! It smells great and leaves my hair soft, wonderful product!!!
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
staylor7 5/1/2012 10:21:00 PM
I had such high hopes for this product, sounded like a miracle in a bottle if it was able to keep your make up on all day. So glad I only bought the trial size. I think it does help keep my foundation on a little bit longer, but not that much more and the rest of my make up still comes of and I need to reply around the same time I used to. Do not think I'll be repurchasing this.
Let me start by saying I don't really care for drugstore brands. While there are some really great things out there I've struck out more that not, and had much more luck with higher end products. I read a couple good reviews about Milani products, but didn't know who they were. When I look back on it I have walked by their display lots of different times and thought to myself...mehhh, probably nasty cheap stuff that would melt off my face in a skinny minute. I started with their blush in the shade luminous b/c it looked just like NARS orgas@# and got great reviews. Stuff turned out to be pretty good, so I wanted to know more about the line and reviewed a few more things this eyeliner being one of them. It is now my HG BEST eyeliner I have ever used! I was using Lancome prior. It lasts all day with out running, is a much deeper black than I had, and the applicator is fabulous! I can get in the tightest places with this thing, its really awesome!! Truth be told you should check out this line. Not only is the eyeliner great but so are a lot of the other products. They seem to be dupes for a lot of NARS and MAC products so they are so much more affordable and still have quality. Its my def new drugstore go to, I really like this brand!
How did I live without this before? I have had this for a week so far, my only regret is not getting this sooner. In one week my face is so smooth like babies skin. I can't stop touching it! I use the cleanser that came with it and really like it too! My skin over all in just one week has gotten smoother, some of the fine lines (while still there) are smoother and less noticeable, and over all my face has a really nice glow. Favorite part though, my makeup. I use so much less, and it goes on and looks so much better now!!! I also use less moisterizer too. Prior too, I walked by the signs in Sephora thinking , what a gimmick, I'm not even giving that a 2nd look. I already have soft skin from cleansing with my Neutrogena sonic wave daily and using my Neutrogena exfoliator on a weekly basis. These boards sucked me in, with such great reviews, I wanted to know more about it. So eventually after reading so many great reviews I decided to buy it, and plan was to take it back if I didn't like it or it was just ok. Well, long story short, its never going back I'm in love and want to tell everyone they should get one too if they want great skin!
Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professionnel Platinum Concealer Airbrush #57
staylor7 4/30/2012 8:35:00 PM
This brush changed the way I apply my foundation. I have never been a huge fan of foundation due to cakey applications until this brush. Now my foundation goes on looking very airbrushed. Can't say enough wonderful things about this brush, if you are having foundation application problems like I used to please try this, your makeup will look SO MUCH better!!
I own this in Punjab. I am an NC 35 and next time I think I may go a shade darker. Some days this color is perfect and somedays I feel like I need just a little more. After playing with different foundations it is my opinion, with foundations you get what you pay for. I have tried Revlons colorstay, and its nice, but the quality of NARS is a whole lot nicer. I use the Sephora airbrush foundation brush to apply this, and only takes about 2 small drops in my hand to cover my whole face. So while expensive, it is gonna last awhile, which works for me. I am ablle to get light coverage (how ever this foundation is very buildable so you can totally get full coverage out of this) and with my brush get an airbrushed finish. I do really like this and think I will be repurchasing when ever the time comes, bc it does give me a nice dewy finish on my combo maturing skin. I'm not sure yet if this is my HG, but still it is very nice.
The first time I tried this I only did it to see what all of the hype was about. I have blonde hair and fair to medium skin with red undertones which I am always covering up, so In my opinion how in the world could this peachy color that everyone kept refering to as universally flattering look good on me? Doubful. I was kind of determined to hate it. When I put it on I was amazing. So subtle and so pretty. Glowy even. You can build it to what ever kind of look you want heavy or subtle since its so pigmented but I prefer a more natural dewy look on the cheek area. This is now my very favorite HG blush. I encourage anyone to try it, it seems to look good on everyone. I don't know how NARS does it.
I am a NARS girl, and my very favorite blush is Orgas#@ by NARS. It is the most easy to wear natural glowing blush I have ever worn, and I love it, can't go wrong. New to the Tarte brand I saw this and with 95% of folks saying they would buy again it peaked my curiosity, so while at Sephora I tried it. Gotta say, amazing. If you like the Orgas@# by NARS you would like this. Its a very similar color on the cheek except this is in a cream form and goes on the skin very soft and natural as opposed to a powdery look. I have the multiple in the color Orgas#@ as well by NARS which is creamy, but this is MUCH MUCH better. Easier to blend, and much better for aging skin, and lasts longer.I love my NARS so much that I am not going to say its not my HG of blushes anymore, but it sure it tied with this one. I now have 2 HG blushes. This even looks good dabbed over my powder blush for a bit of a more dewy look, or if if I apply a little more it perks my blush up a little more as it is just a tad brighter. This really is good stuff, love it!
OMGosh, this is the bomb! I got this for free from Sephora in their 500 pt Buxom gift set and really wasn't that excited about it. I wear a lot of mascara and stick with what works. I don't have time to try out whats gonna be flakey, whats gonna run etc. So I either use lancomes Hynose or Definicils.I also use maybellines the colossal volume express. If your looking for volume its a great drugstore alternative. Anyhow, point is with mascara I know what I like and dont stray. When I opened my little buxom package out of curiosity I opened the mascara, and it interested me. The wand was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked like it would give great coverage so out of curiosity I had to try. To my delight this mascara turned out to suprisingly be the BEST mascara I have ever tried...WOW!! It gives great volume and separates the lashes at the same time. My lashes have never looked better. I didn't have a problem with the way the looked before but now that I see how good they can look I have found my HG mascara, bye bye Lancome, Hello Buxom! Really incredible stuff!!
