I have full lips, which you'd think would be a good thing, but almost every lipstick or lip gloss I've used makes my mouth look spectacularly disproportionate to the rest of my features. Vaseline is pretty much my lifesaver - it moisturizes and adds a little colour without making me look silly.

The first time I sprayed this on my wrist, I thought, This smells like me, but better. It smells like clean laundry and fresh air and just enough sweetness to remind everyone that I'm a young woman. I just wish it lasted longer.

My roommate in my freshman year of college wore this. She had long blonde hair and wide blue eyes and a boyfriend twice her size who played football. She was exactly the girl I'd wanted to be when I was in high school. Of course she wore Sweet Pea. It made her smell like a flower - sweet and coquettish and utterly, utterly feminine. Once I popped off the lid, meaning to sneak a spray. I didn't get any further. It smelled saccharine and cheap, young as a middleschooler's first perfume. Some girls, I guess.

I brought this body wash with me when I did the Eurotrip thing after my sophomore year at college. Whenever I smell it, I remember bathing in the forest at the edges of our encampment and guiltily watching the suds seep into the earth. I remember a Spanish girl telling me how every time I showered, the bathroom was filled with a warm and comforting smell that reminded her of visiting her grandparents as a little girl. I remember watching the stars half-curled against a Czech boy and feeling him lean closer to catch my scent. Every time I walk into B&BW I tell myself I should buy another bottle, and every time I talk myself out of it. It's probably my favourite body wash; I just don't know how I feel about using it at home, that's all.

Warm, dark, lush. I love vanilla, but most vanilla scents out there are too foody or remind me of high school. This is vanilla all grown up and all woman. It's a shame this has been continued - it's my go-to scent.

Polishes -Revlon - Cherry Crush

Apparently, I have the most boring taste in nail polish ever and zone in on deep, almost burgundy reds with a faint shimmer, but I can't help it. Everyone loves this colour - boys, girls, gay, straight. One coat gives you a trusty, cherry stand-by shade, two vamps things up.

I like the colour, but it's streaky even after 2-3 coats. I got it on sale for $2, but I wouldn't purchase again.

Great coverage, stays put even after exercise, and even though I have oily skin, I didn't find it too dewy at all. I just wish it came in more colours - the one I have is just a touch too light for my Asian skin.

Awesome mascara. Volumizes, lengthens, separates. The brush is a bit awkward, but you get used to it after a while. It smudged a little at the end of the day for me, but it wasn't a big deal.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear - Blue It

My love for this nail polish is probably illegal in all 50 states, but that's really too bad, because nothing can tear us apart. It's cheap, it goes on easy, it's a wonderful deep, saturated blue with a hint of shimmer. Try it and tell me you don't share my crush.

A lovely, deep jade. Every once in a while (see: beginning of season, playoffs) I'll get the urge to paint my nails my team's colours, but it hasn't been easy finding a classy green. This does the trick - I can even see myself using it outside of showing team spirit! Very exciting. Agree with everyone about the brush - love that I can get away with one coat, love the consistency of the polish, but it does make a bit of a mess.
