I fell in love with the Chloe Eau De Parfum scent and decided to buy the perfumed body cream instead of the perfume. The body cream is very softly scented and not as strong as the perfume. It's floral and powdery, just right and not overwhelming. The scent is quite unique, not like other floral scents out there. It's not a sharp floral at all. The cream is a nice texture, not tacky. I think that I will buy the perfume next so I can layer it on top of the cream. I have a few perfume samples, so that will have to do for now. :) The downside is the price. The body cream is 150 ml (5 Fl oz.) and it cost me $90 (Cdn price), so that is EXPENSIVE for me. If I had tons of money, I'd buy this product again, but that is why the overall rating is 4 instead of 5.

Mascara -LORAC - Publicity Stunt Lashes

This formula doesn't cover any of your lashes... I've never tried anything like it because it really didn't thicken or lengthen. The formula and brush doesn't do anything. Please save your money and just buy a really good drugstor mascara.... seriously, this is the truth.

Mascara -MAC - Zoom lash

I like thick lashes, but found that all the thickening mascaras looked too clumpy at times. So, this product is to give both volumizing and lengthening, from what the MAC associate told me and definitely was not a "natural" look-- exactly what I wanted! I like how very defined this mascara makes my puny eyelashes look and it's not even that expensive! I've bought a lot of expensive ones like FauxCils, DiorShow, Definicils, etc., but I would rather buy two MAC Zoomlashes for the price of one expensive mascara, since it gets the job done so well! If you end up finding a clump or two in Zoom lash (it is not overly clumpy, by the way)- just comb it out with the brush or change the application to go sweeping from root to tip instead of doing the wiggle up your lashes. It's still a very good product.

I picked this up on my last visit to New York in Takashimaya. The colour is a very pretty green with fine shimmery gold iridescent. It's perfect if you are combining it with another colour that has gold iridescent in it, too! It has good staying power and looks great with a turquoise eyeliner blended in. My only complaint is that the eyeshadow container cost $6 US on top of the already $18 eyeshadow. So, since I already bought the eyeshadow container, if I run out, I would buy this again!

Fragrances -Nina Ricci - Nina Ricci Gold Edition

I was looking for a fragrance that wasn't too heavy, but wasn't too "clean and green" smelling, either. I found this one in my most recent trip at my boutique drug store. The scent is appley with a little bit of a kick initially (cinnamon- slightly?), but it dries down nicely to a fruity, soft floral and vanilla kind of candy scent. But, it's not overly sweet, which is important. The golden apple packaging is very pretty and for the price of 50 mls (mine was $65 Cdn.), it was cheaper than what I normally had paid for other fragrances, so it wasn't bad! I looked at the info on this fragrance online and the one sad thing is that it is limited edition... I'm hoping my date on Friday night likes it because I sure do!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Polyester Bride eyeshadow

If white shadow comes back again and you love glitter, then you should pick this up if you don't mind paying more money for e/s. It is quite glittery, but it is a pretty shade of white. If I feel like going all out on my eyemake up, I will wear just this (eyelid to brow) and brown/black eyeliner with mascara. If you pair this with red lipstick, it makes it very dramatic and doll like. I started hunting for a glitter e/s because I saw Britney Spears wear a super glittery eyeshadow on TV for a special. Sad, I know, but it looked gorgeous on her and it must have been UD that she was wearing. The downside is that I think all UD eyeshadows are too expensive.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Star Secret Aishwarya Beige

I find this colour to be the most wearable of all the Star Secret shades. This product isn't a deep brown like the Eva Longoria one, but a wearable beige for every day. On the product, you can see a lot of gold flecks, but when you wear it, I don't detect any shimmer on my lips. They changed the formulation so this product goes on very very smooth a giant plus and a reason as to why I would buy it again. But for a drugstore lipstick, I found the $11 (cdn) that I paid for it a bit much since the lipstick is so small. If it was on sale, I would buy tons.

Lip Treatments -Perfumeria Gal - Apple lip balm

I love the smell of this lip balm and the packaging is gorgeous, very retro glam looking. The consistency of this product is just like vaseline, so don't expect something thicker than that consistency in this product. Overall, the amount you get in this tub is a lot, so if you like this product it's worth it.

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Inspiration

I've been looking for a shimmery highlighter that's not too frosty. It's a light beige grey colour that highlights well and doesn't look chalky. The consistency of the eyeshadow is pretty okay for a drugstore product, but not super long lasting. I got this on sale for $3, so it was a great buy, in my opinion. Just don't expect it to last too long on you!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express Turbo Boost Waterproof

Turbo isn't really much different than regular volum express imo. The cosmetician told me that it's mainly the brush that makes a difference in application and she said for both regular volum express and express turbo it's the same brush. Still a good mascara if it was on sale, I'd still buy it. But regular price, no buying for me, thanks.

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Amorito Eau de Toilette [DISCONTINUED]

I liked this scent out of all the eau de toilette mixable ones since I'm not into super floral scents and this one was definitely different. I got it since I could smell the vanilla (very nice!), and didn't get it specifically because it smells like chocolate, but now I am hooked on the fragrance! The sa suggested that I try this with aztique because when you mix the the combo is sort of like raspberry chocolate! It really is, although sometimes I smell pear chocolate. All in all, I will probably use up Amorito first instead of my aztique bottle and I would definately repurchase amorito again. It's a cheapie fragrance too, but it doesn't dry down to that cheap acidic smell like some cheap drugstore perfumes do.

Lip Gloss -Annabelle - Le Gloss Lip Shine- Super Sweet

The colour is a pink loaded with super sparkles. I like the texture of this gloss, not too sticky. Although the staying power isn't that great, gloss isn't meant to stay long anyway! It makes my lips look super shiny and is not too expensive (I paid around $8 CDN for this). I would buy this again just to use everyday!

The packaging is so cute in this product! It's got the tiniest baby brush (okay, it's better to use a full size one) and the rest is a lucite package. The swirly caramel colours of tan and beige smell so yummy! I got this in a discount makeup store, but I should have gotten the other flavours! It's almost too cute to use!

Eye Shadow -NARS - Thunderball single

This eyeshadow is sooo pigmented so it's great if you want to use this as a liner. The colour is very cool, sort of like MAC plumage with a very deeper velvety sort of blue. The Makeup Artist who did my eyes put this all under my lower lashes and then cleaned it up with a q-tip dipped in make up remover so it was a very solid lower line. Really dramatic! I like the NARS package, the rubberized outside makes me feel like I'll never drop it! I wouldn't buy this again because of the price, but if you want to get it and want a pigmented colour, it's great!

Eye Shadow -NARS - Night Star

I like the peachy sparkly colour this eye shadow gives. But for the amount of money this eyeshadow costs, I'm sure I could have gotten one that was similar somewhere else. It doesn't show up very much (due to the nature of the colour, not NARS or the eyeshadow's fault), so that's why I wouldn't buy this again for that price. But if I got this for free, I would love it! The sparkles are awesome and look sooo great under the lights in the department store.
