Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

I think this is the best drugstore mascara I have used, and I have used a few. The product is smear proof and fairly waterproof, although it isn't advertised as either. The only downside is that it can only be found at Walgreens!

Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Oil
rated 5 of 5

I love Johnson's baby oil. I use it to take off make up, in my kids bath water in the winter to protect their skin, lets see I also use it post shower pre-towel when I have no time for lotion. During pregnancy I had better results with stretch mark prevention with this than palmers coco butter crap.

Shampoo -Alberto Vo5 - Silky Experiences - Shea Cashmere Moisturizing Shampoo
rated 5 of 5

This is a moisterizing shampoo that cleans deeply, and has decent ingredients in the top 5. It doesnt irritate my skin or scalp, and smells like vanilla when emulsified and during lathering. In the bottle it smells a little playdough-y. Also makes a decent bubble bath. I like the vo5 bottle design, slim and compact. The flip tops dont break, and the see through packaging allows me to see how much is left.

Deodorants -Suave - 24-Hour Invisible Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant
rated 5 of 5

I really like suave deodorant. I use the baby powder scent and i am fresh all day, and into the evening. The other scents may work well, but I prefer powder or shower fresh type scents. I like suave, arrid, secret powder, and arm and hammer ultra max for deodorant. Each one works as well as the others, but suave is my fave :)

Cleansers -Noxzema - Original Skin Cream
rated 5 of 5

Noxema should be awful, should irrtate, should flat out suck. But it doesnt. My skin is sensitve, and I really have a tough time with alot of products. Noxema is one that doesnt bug my skin. The texture of it is unique and the smell is distinctive. I use it like a cold cream and tissue it off sometimes, and I use it like a cleanser and wash it off sometimes.

Lips -Chapstick - (All Flavors)
rated 5 of 5

This review is for classic black tube chapstick. It smells like camphor and does not cause irritation on my lips, I also use it on my toddler son's cheeks in the winter before we go outside to play in the snow. Its one I will buy again and again. There arent alot of products I can use, so when I find one I can with no problems, they have a loyal customer for life. Cherry chapstick causes lip irratation for me.

Conditioner -Paul Mitchell - The Conditioner

I love this leave in. I have been using it regularly for 2 years. I like the smell, cucumber/basalm/fresh and the consistancy. I use a quarter sized amount in my towel dried hair, smoothing from the midshaft to the ends. My hair is tailbone length, thick, and color treated. I find this helps me detangle, and I use it as a lotion to touch up my hair on non-wash days. It freshens my hair and prevents dryness. (I use a pea sized amount in my dry hair, towards the ends only) You would need to use a handfull to get limp or greasy hair, its just a lightweight thin gel formula. Its blue and fresh and the best!

This looks like plain vaseline but it isnt. I have personally seen it cure awful diaper rashes in 24 hours, and heal cracked lips overnight. I buy again and again.

Cleansers -Dove - Beauty Bar - Sensitive Skin
rated 5 of 5
starlamelissa 11/12/2012 10:12:00 PM

dove sensitive bar is very nice. It doesnt irritate my sensitive skin or my young baby's. I use it to shave and as face wash. Of course I use it as plain old soap to clean my body too! The only not so great part is the price. Its over a dollar a bar out here in the midwest. I dont like to screw around with my products that much, but I tried jergen's mild soap and find it to be a good alternative. If I find a good sale on dove sensitve bars that can compete with jergen's mild soap (33 cents a bar) then I will buy it.

Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Vaseline Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Lotion

we are a household of sensitive skinned people, and I in particular have fragrance allergies, and a really hard time with lotions. I always get a horrible burning rash from body lotion, and I pretty much can only use plain petroleum products for moisterizing. This lotion has a mild fragrance free smell. (it doesnt smell like nothing, but doesnt smell offensive) It absorbs quickly, and doesnt give me a rash! I use it on my sensitive skinned children too, and it helps their dry skin in the harsh midwestern winters. I have used the Dollar General generic of this lotion with success as well. I lotioned one leg with the generic lotion and one with the name brand and waited for the rash/itching/pain and had happy moisterized skin on both legs! yay!

Conditioner -Suave - Professionals Sleek Conditioner

This is a nice thick conditioner with a fresh salon smell. It really moisterizes well and pairs excellently with the sleek shampoo. I highly recommend!

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Sleek Look Shampoo
rated 5 of 5

I really like the shampoo and conditioner combo, it smells fresh and salon-y, with a hint of coconut, and the shampoo is glittery silver colored with a thick consistancy. It lathers well, and prevents my hair from tangling during washing. The conditioner is a thick cream consistancy, and feels very hydrating. The trick for me with this shampoo is to rinse longer than I would with a clear non moisterizing shampoo. That ensures soft hair with no greasy afterfeel.

Gels/Soaps -Jergens - Jergens Bar Soap - White
rated 5 of 5
starlamelissa 10/13/2012 8:30:00 PM

This is a really nice bar soap for sensitive skinned people. I use it, and I use it on my two pale skinned irish babies. It has a slight soapy scent that I like, and doesnt make my skin itch and burn like ivory does. Jergen's bars remind me of dial's old "pure n' natural" bars my family used to use. I like this and dove unscented but have been upset over the shrinking bar sizes and raised prices that dove has been doing lately. Anways, this is a really nice bar that is worth the price. :) I use it on my face, on my body, on my legs to shave, on my 4 year old son, and my 6 month old daughter. :) its all family soap!
