I LOVE this mascara. Funny story on how we met too. I was running late one morning, and didnt have time to do my eye makeup. I swore I packed my mascara, but alas! It was nowhere to be found. I could swing by my house without being late for school, so i texted my friend to bring hers with her. Well, she did, and at first glance "Oh, covergirl." ( I usually prefer maybelline, because after a 'meh' experience with Last Blast Volume, which was supposedly their best mascara, I thought ' The others must be just terrible then! ' WRONG!) Also, its not exactly eye candy, persay. Anyway, I also didn't curl my lashes, which is a must for me, because theyre sooo straight. First swipe: Oh, its okay, but I don't think we'll rendezvous again. Second swipe: OMG! I'm in love! Makes my short stubby lashes like Kim K's. Doesn't flake ever (13+ hrs w/a nap), and though it comes off easily in water, I've played an entire basketball game w/o it running or anything of the sort. Needless to say, this is my go to mascara. Cheap, amazing, and the best I've ever had :)
Styling Products -Suave - Professionals Captivating Curls Whipped Cream Mousse

I LOVE this mousse. Usually, I shy away from them, because I hate the hard and crunchy feel, but this one...this one's different. It has a super thick texture, and controls my curls without making them the least bit hard. It's so cheap too! It truly is a drugstore gem. I think I found my HG mousse (:
Styling Products -Aussie - Heat Protecting Shine Spray

I didn't really like this all too well. After using this, my hair felt very dry, but looked very greasy. The price was not bad in the least, and the smell was just so-so for me. I feel that it really did not protect my hair from heat. tried oh-so- hard to like this product, simply because I usually adore all things Aussie. A miss among many hits for them.
I bought this product on a whim, because I had heard very good reviews about it. But, for my hair type,(which does not straighten very easily)I don't think this really does much. I don't know if it protects all to well, just because my ends looked fried and crispy after using this. The smell is not very appealing, and reminds me of pickle juice? It wasn't a terrible product, but it wasn't a HG product for me.
Conditioner -Neutrogena - triple moisture deep recovery hair mask

This is a pretty good hair mask. I have long, color treated, 3b curly hair, and this actually softens it quite a bit. The smell is very fresh and floral, not a bad scent, but just not my cup of tea. The texture is fairly thick, and almost reminds me of butter. I love the idea of tubs because it allows you to get every drop of product it comes with. Would I buy again? Yes! I've done a side by side comparison of this and aussie(one side aussie treated, other neutrogena) and this makes my hair look better :) HG drugstore hair mask
This deep conditioner is a staple in my hair care routine. It doesn't repair, but you could always use it in conjunction with a protien treatment. It does have silicones in it, but I like the slip they give my hair. I have very, very thick, color treated 3b curly hair, and most conditioners don't give me the softness that I like. But this does the trick! c: I use it every time i shower, and I haven't noticed any build up after months of using it.(just use a clarifying shampoo once a month, or once a week if your hair is normal) Also, since my hair is quite dry and damaged, I don't leave it on for just three minutes. First, i take a microfiber towel and blot out all the excess water in my hair so it's a happy medium between wet and damp. Then I spread the product through my hair, focusing on my ends, and leaving a very thin layer on my roots. I twist it into a topknot, secure it with a pony tail, then put a shower cap on and leave it on for about an hour to an hour and a half. I wash out and air dry and voila! My hair is in frizz free defined curls. Another plus? This stuff smells AMAZING!!! Like coconuts, bananas, and the beach. It reminds me of those amazing, long days in the summer in florida, when you walk to the beach, and its almost completely empty, and you just spend the whole day there and watch the sunset. I love it c: and I'm a hair product junkie. I seriously have everything from high end to low end, and I honestly prefer this to my more expensive conditioners...The smell, the quality, you really can't go wrong. And if it doesn't work out? Your only out three dollars, and you can just use it as a shaving cream if need be. So, just give this a shot, for the price, you have nothing to loose
