This product is 3.5 stars for me. At first I was amazed with how thick and creamy the polish was-- plus the color is gorgeous, but I was less than impressed with the brush size-- a bit too thick for my liking and it bubbled a little bit which is never good, BUT this is a great polish if you're in a rush because one coat goes on pretty opaque & as the name suggests the dry time is quick!
This color was so pretty but it requires way too many coats for the color to actually show up & it was a bit too watery/thin for my liking so I'l probably continue my search for the perfect yellow polish!
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Caresse in Sunset Angora

I purchased this product a while ago and used it maybe once or twice before it got lost in my other lip products, but pulled it out again and was in love! I didn't expect it to be as creamy and smooth as it is! It feels great on my lips without a balm and doesn't dry my lips out! I find the color payoff to perfect as it's not too sheer but doesn't go on too dark. I also love how the packaging can be used as a mirror! I definitely am glad I rediscovered this product and will probably be picking up a few other shades as well!
Cleansers -Boots - No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes - All Skin Types
starburst1824 4/8/2013 10:36:00 PM
These are super soft and they don't have a strong smell so those are two positives for me... other than that they're just average. The package I got claims they remove waterproof makeup and I find that hard to believe because the wipes don't take off any of my mascara & it's not even waterproof!
I usually LOVE l'oreal polishes so I was excited when I saw this gorgeous light minty green. This was AWFUL to apply-- I'm wondering if I got a faulty product or brush because it just did not apply smooth at all. After three coats it looks okay overall...some nails look quite nice but some look awful and streaky. It's a shame because the color is gorgeous! I just probably won't reach for it again anytime soon because it was such a hassle to use.
Polishes -Revlon - colorstay longwear nail enamel - cafe pink
starburst1824 3/9/2013 11:28:00 AM
After looking through my nail polish collection I realized this is the only revlon colorstay polish I own. It will probably always be the only one because this did not apply well at all. I'm actually really disappointed after hearing such good reviews and the swatches I had looked up seemed really pretty. I felt like the brush either was dripping with way too much polish or there wasn't enough on it. So after two coats of what I thought was opaque my nails just look blotchy and uneven. I'm actually surprised at how bad they look because I was expecting to love this nail polish. I'm not sure if it's my skin tone but the color comes off as a brighter pink then what appears in the bottle so I was a little disappointed about the color as well.
Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Diamond Flash Fast Dry Top Coat
starburst1824 3/8/2013 10:30:00 PM
This is a pretty good top coat but I wouldn't buy it again because I think the sally hansen insta-dry (in the red bottle) is better. I picked this up because I was intrigued by it being a strengthener but as I said I prefer the insta-dry.
Polishes -Cover Girl - outlast stay brilliant nail gloss- everbloom

I'm always excited to try a new nail polish and this one was just okay. Perhaps it's the color I'm not too crazy about. The polish went on pretty opaque in two coats but it just doesn't do anything for me. I'm also not a fan of the packaging with the square lid so for that reason alone I probably wouldn't buy this product again.
I feel like I've tried almost every eye makeup remover out there and so far this one is definitely my favorite! It's a bit more pricey for a drugstore brand, but it works really well for removing mascara and doesn't leave my face/lids feelings awfully oily which is what Iv'e hated about so many other eye makeup removers I've tried. I would compare it to the Clinique Take Off The Day remover (the purple one)-- except this one is much less expensive!
This is the first shampoo bar I've used from LUSH... I had wanted to try out one of their liquid shampoos but felt it was way too expensive so I decided to try out a shampoo bar. I have a lot of hair so I was worried I would need to use a lot fo the product to wash my hair, but it actually only takes me 3 or 4 swipes and so far I've noticed a difference in how clean my hair feels. I only use this about 3x per week but I would probably buy it again-- although as many others have said I would recommend getting a shampoo container or using an old jar or something to store it because it can be a little messy!
Not a fan of this hairspray....at all. Every time I use it I end up wishing I hadn't. I usually only use hairspray when I curl my hair so perhaps this works better if you're just using it for volume or something else?? It does nothing but make my hair hard/crunchy feeling & my hair still ends up flat so definitely would not recommend this product.
This color is so gorgeous on the nails. However, I hate using it because the application is sooo awful. It takes AT LEAST 3 coats to be opaque and sometimes still looks streaky.I'm so torn because I really do love the color but because of the application I'm going to look for a similar color from another brand.
Again, I'm very pleased with my l'oreal polish! This color went on completely opaque and streak free in just two coats. As another review I did on a l'oreal polish, I really feel as though this polish applies better then a lot of my essie polishes. I think this is a color that can easily blend with any season and I would consider it gray with a hint of purple. The only small negative I've noticed is that there is tiny bubbling on some of the nails but it's hardly noticeable! For the price, this is a great staple to have in any nail polish collection!
This is one of the first l'oreal polishes I've tried and I am so impressed! The polish went on completely opaque in two coats and wasn't streaky at all. I feel like it applied better then many of my essie polishes and the color is perfect for fall. I'm curious to try some of the other l'oreal polishes as they seem to have a lot of negative reviews-- but I would definitely recommend safari chic & will be using it a lot this season!
Crème -Smashbox - 'Camera Ready' Full Coverage Foundation
starburst1824 9/16/2012 9:40:00 PM
This is the only foundation I've bought multiple times. It is my absolute favorite and I love almost everything about it. I will say the little brush that comes with it is awful, but using another foundation brush it gives such a flawless look. It's a full coverage foundation but doesn't feel heavy like many of the other full coverage foundations I've tried. I have oily skin so I thought I would prefer powder foundations, but this cream foundation is my go-to foundation!
