Smells almost exactly like Amazing Grace!
Hair -Sacha Cosmetics - Sally - Hair One Hair Cleanser and Conditioner
starberr1e 8/28/2012 11:07:00 AM
I wanted to like this, but I'm not a big fan! My hair is fine, wavy, and pretty high porosity, so I tried the dry hair version & curly hair version and they both left my hair super dry, and I wasn't big on the smell either. They both kind of reminded me of the smell of the old-school Noxema face cream!! I've tried Wen before, but this stuff is not anything like Wen, IMO. The texture is more creamy/gloppy, it is slightly more "frothy", it's pretty heavily mentholated, and it didn't give enough slip for my liking. It could be that my hair is just really sensitive to the protein in this stuff, but I wasn't very happy with the results I got. I'm sure the Hair One line would work wonders for people with different hair properties than mine, but I liked the Salon Grafix cleansing conditioner a lot more than this, and it's a little cheaper too. The ingredients for the Hair One curly version, as listed on Sally's website: Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Amodimethicone, CID 157846, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernal Oil, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Rosa Roxburghii Fruit Extract, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Menthol, Polysorbate 60, Citric Acid, BHT, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Hexylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum).
Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer spf15

Yikes! I guess this stuff isn't for everyone. I love it though, I use it under my makeup during the day and a retinol cream at night. I like the SPF, I like that it's a pump dispenser, it makes my skin feel so nice and soft, it helps keep my long-wear foundation looking fresh, and I even like the fragrance. I've never seen an unscented version of this, but it would be a good addition to the line. I can't comment on its effect on the tone & texture of my skin, but my mom also uses it and people constantly tell her how great her skin looks and she is approaching 60. I don't break out from this and it doesn't irritate my super-sensitive skin, either. The price is about $12-$15 where I live, but Top Care makes a generic version that is exactly like this and it's about $5 less.
I don't care - I love this stuff!!! I use this once a week as directed. I have dry, curly hair that demands a lot of styling product on a daily basis - especially in the summer. I typically use two different kinds of serum in my hair, one while it's wet and one after it's dry, and the buildup can really get bad. I also work out almost every day & so even though I'd like to skip a day, I really can't get away with it all the time. This stuff gets rid of the week's worth of gunk and gunge assaulting my hair and doesn't leave it dry and straw-like, as long as I use a decent conditioner afterward. My mom used to buy this stuff by the truckload so she always had a bottle in her bathroom, and I still think it smells amazing, but maybe it just reminds me of her.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Butterfly Flower

Very cute scent, there used to be something so similar that came out for Mother's Day...May Bouquet? It's just a nice fresh floral that is light enough for day/office wear. It layers really well with Waterford Lismore edp, which my husband got me for Valentine's Day last year. It's not spectacular but definitely something I would keep on hand in the travel sizes.
LOVE!!! I had to find something to replace my old HG -VS Pro Voluptuous FX - when it was apparently discontinued. No surprise there, I have the worst luck!!! Anyway I needed something ASAP, that lengthened and would add decent volume and it had to be DARK and not bluish black. I read the reviews here and picked this up BOGO at my grocery store and I couldn't be happier!! It does what it says & makes my lashes look a lot longer and very full. My lashes are pretty full anyway so with this stuff, I doubt I would ever have a need for false lashes. It hasn't clumped on me yet, and doesn't flake off during the day, plus it removes so easily with just a dab of Vaseline. This is a must-have for me.
I kind of agree with those who say this is like Sweet Pea...but my initial reaction was literally, "This reminds me of Love Spell! (VS)" To me it does have that kind of ubiquitous, grapefruity or citrusy kind of "Love Spell" scent. But there is an element of Sweet Pea in there too. Maybe this is their love child. I think people who generally like lighter fragrances like YSL Babydoll or D&G Light Blue or B&BW Sweet Pea might like this one. The notes say something about raspberries and vanilla, but I get next to nothing of either note.Instead I get a lot of citrus, maybe some freesia, a little violet, and some really clean musk at the end. In any case, it's light, fresh, and pretty, and the packaging is really cute. I bought myself the travel size hand lotion to use at my desk.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Kerasal foot ointment
starberr1e 3/4/2011 10:53:00 AM
Amazing - this stuff does wonders for my feet. I am constantly in sandals or bare feet during the summer and I use this at night to keep my feet in "show" quality. This won't help you much if you have peeling scaly feet due to a fungal problem which was my original issue (gross, I know) and why nothing designed to help dry feet would help. Now that that's gone, this stuff is amazing. It's also great to help calm down KP (keratosis pilaris or "chicken skin" on arms/legs). Bonus: Dollar General makes a generic product with the same ingredients, a bigger tube, and at half the price so you can slather it on with reckless abandon!
I am LOL'ing @ "marijuana addict" but I think I know the 'campfire' note the previous reviewer is referring to. I think it's a combination of the black pepper and sandalwood that produces that effect. In any case, YUM! I've been loving sandalwood in fragrances lately and this is delicious. It actually reminds me of those Sandalwood & Vanilla candles/room sprays/Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works. I mean it's almost exactly the same scent! Not that I mind, I love those too! It's just too bad that for whatever reason, my skin just eats this perfume and it lasts exactly 3 seconds on my skin. Maybe I just need to layer it with the lotion from now on. Oh and I think the bottle is adorable - love the little ridges on the back.
Mascara -Victoria's Secret - Pro Voluptuous FX Mascara
starberr1e 3/25/2010 12:08:00 PM
I think this stuff is OK. I got it as a freebie when I placed an online order so I can't really comment on the price point, but as far as mascara goes this stuff isn't too bad. It's not gimmicky like the Beauty Tubes and it doesn't have a goofy wand, and I appreciate that. It is also really, really black - like the other reviewer said - and I love that. Some mascaras that try to go too black end up turning bluish on my lashes, which is NOT good. It's also definitely volumizing, and maybe lengthening (I don't have much of a need for that - lucky me! ;-), and at least in my experience it hasn't been over-the-top flaky. That could be because I only had to use one coat, but in any case I have been wearing it all week to work and @ 5pm I don't have the dreaded "raccoon eyes." The brush separates my lashes pretty well if I scrape off a little bit of the excess on the top of the tube before applying, and I don't need to use anything to comb them out afterward. As the reviewer below said, it does tend to go on really wet and takes some time to dry, so I'm careful not to blink too much or I end up with dots on my brow bone and below my eyes! Overall, I might buy this again if the price was right. It's similar in results to my HG, Fabulash. So if you hate that one (and I know a lot of people who do) you will probably hate this too!
Fragrances -Narciso Rodriguez - Narciso Rodriguez for her

I love this stuff! I used to wear egyptian musk oil all the time in high school and my early college days, and this is along the same lines but much, much more sophisticated, and of course has massive sillage in comparison. It's definitely a musk scent, with big, beautiful orange flower at the top and smooth amber at the bottom. I love it! The only thing I don't like is that the bottle is opaque so it makes it hard for me to know when I need to replenish my supply! * Have to add, this is NOT a dupe of SJP Lovely, if anything, Lovely is a dupe of this as it came out nearly two years before. Not a major deal, but I like both of them, and Lovely is less expensive. If you have one you probably won't need the other.
This smells just like Michael Kors...which I already have. Pointless. No sale. Smells fine if you like tuberose, but I don't need a MK dupe in my collection.
Cleansers -Olay - Age Defying Daily Renewal Cleanser
starberr1e 2/12/2010 9:45:00 AM
I love this stuff! I have pretty dry skin and KP bumps on my arms and tiny ones on my face, and this is the only thing I've tried so far that is 1) cheap enough to replenish religiously even though I'm using it often, and 2) gentle and effective without being drying. The tiny microbeads don't really do miracles as far as exfoliation, but they definitely help when I've got the flaky dry skin I normally get on my face in the winter. The salicylic acid helps calm my KP bumps down to a manageable level, and it's *just* cleansing enough to remove my makeup and still leave my face soft. I don't wear a lot of foundation or blush, so I don't need an industrial strength makeup remover or anything. I can find this at Dollar General most times for less than $5, and DG even has their generic version of this- I have tried it, but it doesn't smell as nice.
While I do like this, I can't help thinking that it smells like someone who is wearing Stella while chewing Bubblicious bubble gum...you know, the sticky-sweet cotton candy pink kind. I love Stella and I know where to find Bubblicious so I'm not sure I'd ever buy this, but if I got it as a gift, I'd wear it. I do own a teeny bottle of the lotion, which is nice to put on before bed.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sexy Little Things perfume
starberr1e 10/14/2009 10:28:00 AM
This smells just like Ralph. I already have Ralph, so I don't know that I would buy this again, but I am more likely to find this cheaper, so I *might.* This smells good, sweet & fruity. I like it more for work or weekend than I do for a night out, because it's staying power is nil and it's not strong enough to contend with everyone else's nighttime perfumes. All that aside, the bubble bath/body wash IS FANTASTIC! Smells even better than the perfume, has shimmer, and produces TONS of bubbles. I got a huge bottle for Christmas last year and ran right out and bought two more for myself.
