let me preface this with my quest for the HG mascara. i have sparse, thin, anorexic lashes and have been longing for fat, thick slutty lashes. i have tried every masc that has been recommended to me from MUA. from great lash to diorshow and nothing. not benefit Bad Gal, not Voluminous, nothing seemed to get my lashes to do anything. i don't pass up a mascara i haven't tried. a few weeks ago, i came across a mascara that i have not seen before. telescopic. hmmm. can't hurt to try, well, it is the best of both worlds- you get the preciseness of a comb plus the coverage of a brush. so not too much gets put on your lashes and it doesn't clump. it actually makes me look like i have false eyelashes. It lengthened, fattened, and even CURLED my lashes. the curl is a bonus, i didn't even expect that. i've been using it for about 3 weeks now, and no smudging, lasts all day, and doesn't flake unless i really start rubbing my eyes. and it's easy to remove also. i rarely write reviews, but this product really just may be my HG mascara, and only 8 bucks! i wish i could post before and after pictures in reviews because it's an amazing transformation. thanks for reading!
Mascara -Maybelline - Unstoppable Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

like all other maybelline mascaras, this one sucks just as bad as ther rest of them. i don't know why i bought it, other than i must be a sucker for new mascaras. the brush is scary. all spiky and wierd. the stuff takes forever to dry and goes on really wet and gloppy. not a fan. if there was a "hell no" option of buying this product again, that would be it.
as a user of retiols and tazorac, my skin has become quite dry and i've turned to cream cleansers for washing my face. after not wanting to spend 20$ on my favorite Px cream cleanser, i found this, and found it to be virtually the same. its not as creamy as Px, but its very gentle and does not stress my skin after a night of tazorac. i feel it removes makeup fairly well, and have not had acne or clogged pores while using it. i've repurchased this often and have been satisfied with it. it's not spendy in the realm of products but 8$ for drugstore is steep imo.
i am using strong topical face treatment (tazorac) and i find that cream cleansers are the best for my skin. this new cream cleanser works well for dry skin w/o irritating it. it soothes my skiin nicely, and i don't think it clogs pores. it takes of foundation well, (i use Sitla's IPF and Stephane Marais foundations) and does not dry out my skin. lightly fragranced, but it does not bother me. for the price, i defintely would purchase again.
Mascara -Physicians Formula - Lash in a Tube Cream Mascara

i'm loving this mascara. this has been my last resort in my visionquest of mascaras. i was always put off by the cheapness of the price, assuming that it would kind of suck. but i tried it, and it immediately gave me what i've been looking for all this time! the creamy formula really thickens my lashes even without the use of primer. i think the secret to this is to wipe off the excess mascara on the rim of the tube before applying. then it is less daunting to apply. i'm so very excited that i think i've found my HG. i have not experienced flaking, smudging, eye irritation, and i think it holds curl fine. it does dry out in a few months, but i do use this mascara more than all my other ones. and at 5$. it's not a problem.
Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara

short answer? this sucked. the primer hardly came out of the tube, and the mascara was highly irritating after only 5 minutes on. and i don' t have sensitive eyes or anything. this reinforces to me how much maybilline sucks for me, as none of the mascras has given me anything but grief. and the brand name is hard for me to spell. red flag, indeed. i'll stick to Lancome Cils booster, with MAC or CG mascaras.
i'm obsessed with mascaras. i've tried everything from covergirl to chanel, in order to get thick, fat, long lush lashes. I was skeptical of this fibre lash, because the MAC postcard that came out looked awful- like tarantula legs, and also, the Jane fiber mascara was irritating and didn't do anything. but after a friend had good results with this, i decided to give it a spin. And i think I'm finally satisifed with this. I used this mascrara with Lancome Cils booster. The fibers also grabbed on to the primer, giving even more volume, and also gave length like MAC pro lash. after a comb out with the Sonia Kushak eyelash comb, the result was a good, thick long lash. my obsession may be over for now.
i'm always in search of getting the 'fat slutty lashes' look. my lashes are thin, long and kinda sparse. so thickness is hard to achieve. with this, i kind of 'push' the product onto my lashes, let it dry, then follow with a lengthening mascara like MAC prolash, and i get a lot more thickness, and curl. i have done some tests and it seems that 'thickening' mascaras are not a good pair with this, but lengthening mascaras are. thiis is a good thing to have to help give your not so favorite mascaras a boost. this will be a staple of mine, since i love to buy mascara.
