Casablanca is a really flattering color on me. I have fair skin and dark hair. It's dark enough to have impact, but the color is not jarring or harsh. The feel is very creamy and hydrating, plus the lasting power is nice. I like the packaging too.
Eye Shadow -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Eye Shadow Duo-Vanilla Pods

This is a great eyeshadow duo for a neutral look. The lighter color is matte the darker color has light shimmer but it's subtle. The darker color is buildable so you can change the look from lighter and more neutral to something more dramatic. I love the packaging. The mirror is nice and big spanning the entire width and height of the compact and the size of the eyeshadows is generous. I would prefer if the lighter color had more pigment, but it does give a nice sheer wash over the entire lid. It would be hard to overdo it with these colors.
First off, I am a huge Chanel fan and rarely meet a Chanel fragrance I do not like (Chance and it's offshoots excluded). I was excited to try No 19 Poudre and it was divine sprayed on a card. On my skin it's another story. It quickly turns acrid in almost a faint cigar smell on my skin. It was really bad, bad enough I felt compelled to write this review to warn others to try it on your skin first. If it works with your chemistry, it could be a lovely fragrance, but if not it can get very strange, very fast. Be warned. I own the original No 19 and it's lovely, but this simply does not work for me, sadly....I wanted to like this.
Wow, wearing this takes me on a subtle scent journey as it morphs throughout the day. My first impression is a nice scent with violets in the top note. It reminds me of FM En Passant in an odd way. There is this dry hay note that I pick up with the violet. It's pretty but there is a slight slight sharpness. This stays the same until hour 4, when it starts to settle down and I get an almost aquatic note that lasts for an hour. This is my least favorite nuance of the fragrance, but it quickly passes and finally, after 6 hours or so I get the soft cashmere snuggly yet still light enough for summer fragrance that I so crave. I was impressed with this one because I thought it would be generic department store perfume until I gave it a chance and it proved me wrong. The dry down gets 5 stars! I find the lasting power to be great for a lighter fragrance and overall, I rather like this for summer. I'm taking off one point for the aquatic mystery note in the middle.
Scrubs -L'Occitane - Immortelle Brightening Smoothing Exfoliator

I have extremely sensitive skin with rosacea and I'm reluctant to try new exfoliators. However, I'm also not willing to take myself out of the game and never exfoliate my face just because it's sensitive. I got a sample of this from L'occitane and tried it. With one use I noticed a huge difference. My skin was as smooth as glass, very soft, and looked brighter. Best of all there was no irritation or redness whatsoever!!! Finally! I just bought a tube from skinstore.com using a 20% off code. I'm very happy with this product.
I bought Sycamore to match a discontinued Chanel Infrarouge lipstick in Flamingo Glace. It's not an exact match but it's very close and I love it as my every day go to lip color. This is a deeper mauve/brown and has a slight sheen to it. It's opaque so it applies evenly and easily. It goes very well with my light skin and dark hair. It gives my lips enough of a presence without shouting. Sycamore goes very well with Nude lipliner. I really like how this lipstick feels, creamy and moisturizing.
Holy Grail alert! I have searched high and low for a beautiful pink lipstick and this is it. Like other reviewers I have pale skin and dark hair and this suits my complexion beautifully. I am so happy with it I may have to buy a back up to keep in my purse at all times and the other at my vanity. It provides just enough impact but still looks sophisticated and put together without trying too hard. It is a very wearable color and I'm so glad I found it. Excellent packaging as well.
I bought this while on a mission to find the closest match to a much loved and discontinued Chanel Flamingo Glace lipstick. I had a swatch of the chanel on my hand and went around Sephora trying to match it. This was the closest match and it's really nice. I took off one point because really, the tube is small. I'm not sure why. Just make a regular sized lipstick tube please. This is a pretty cool mauve / pink / rose with a hint of shimmer lipstick. It's very flattering on my fair skin and gives a nice polished look without looking overdone. It is almost a neutral too as it's not so outrageous of a color.
Concealers -Yves Saint Laurent - Anti-Cernes Multi Action Concealer #1

This concealer is very creamy and easy to apply. It covers nicely and it not noticeable on the skin...as in, you don't see a blinding white obvious concealer under the eyes when used. It blends so well. Plus the packaging is nice. Normally concealers are very chalky on me but this one makes me look more well rested when used around the eyes. It's also light enough to use lightly on my eyelids when I don't want to wear eyeshadow but want an even finish on my lids.
Lip Gloss -Chanel - Aqualumiere gloss Glass Quartz

This gloss is a perfect MLBB color. It's smooth, has no glitter or shimmer and is very understated and sophisticated. It has great staying power and the applicator brush works very nicely. I think Chanel makes really high quality glosses.
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Lipstick in #003 Ultimate Beige

This lipstick has such a superior formula that it feels like a silky lip balm on the lips but delivers with an opaque finish. I got #3 which is a nice nude lip with a bit of color. It's not a chalky nude lip, but more of an everyday wearable color. I will get a lot of use out of this due to it being so neutral. The color reminds me of something Angelina Jolie or Sophia Loren would wear. You know those blessed with plump lips who don't flaunt it by wearing a bright lipstick, this is the color they would wear. It's a fleshy neutral. The packaging is gorgeous. The only drawback is the price.
I like the parfum version of this better than the edp. It's an old fashioned scent but in a good way. There is an interesting green note that I like. I cannot wear a lot of caron fragrances as I find they have this "note" that does not agree with my nose. It's a dark slightly offensive scent that I haven't fully embraced, but French CanCan does not have this darkness. It's a fun scent that is absolutely lovely and potent in the parfum form.
Another fantastic chanel bath product. I have this in No 5. It is very true to the scent and the gel is rich and luxurious. I use it sparingly due to the cost. A little on a sponge goes a long way.
I adore this soap in No. 5. It is substantial in size, very chic, smells wonderful and has a dense lather. It is a splurge but it really lasts for a long time. I have repurchased this item several times now and will continue to do so.
I really hate this mascara. The vibrating brush is difficult to control and I find it clumps and sticks lashes together. The result is lackluster at best. It's also expensive and the packaging is blah. Save your money.
