I actually thought that if someone hadn't posted this, I'd do this myself. Before getting married I was obsessed with getting that perfect peachy skin, not realizing that my skin was fine to begin with. Completely took it for a roller coaster ride of blotchy, dry, itchy, temperamental skin, since at times my skin did look OK, but most of the time it didn't. Since getting married and having a kid, I've not had much time to do anything to my skin which has since have improved drastically. I'm 28 but have been mistaken for being in my earlier 20s. People are surprised when I say that I do nothing. once a while I'll moisturize if my feel skin a little too dry, and scrub once a while if it feels too scaly, and i'm talking every 2 months. The skin naturally regulates itself which means even smooth soft skin, without any need for foundation. If i were to wear anything makeup, I'll just remove with jojoba oil, some glycerin soup and water, nothing else.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Magic Peeling Exfoliating Glove

$50???!! dont want to boast but i can it get where i come (algeria) from for less then a quid. As much i love this i would never pay that amount for this, not even £10. i do love this but is increasingly rare for me to get this as i live in the uk. But everytime someone i know goes down, i always make sure they get us back a bunch. basically best used when your skin is damp and the dead skin literally rolls of the skin, pretty gross but effective.

Fragrances -Christian Dior - Miss Dior Cherie

smells like the peach pot pourri that my mum kept in a basket on the toilet next to a bowl of small shell shaped soaps :D i used to like the smell when i was a kid, maybe because i was a kid, but unfortunatly not as an adult. the bottle is nice though, i might just keep it on my vanity instead of the toilet.

i wish i could give this razor a zero for the unpleasant experience i had with these razors. like others have mentioned, they scratched, dragged, nicked and also took a slice out of my skin above the ankle which bled for ages. wont use again

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb
sselougha 8/20/2008 2:34:00 PM
My friend sprayed this on my shirt without asking me stating it smelt gorgoeus which slightly pissed me off at first since i didnt ask, but didnt complain cuz i kinda like the gal. At first i got a nice wiff of roses which is never bad, but the smell developed into something nasty and cloying which again made me more pissed off at my freind since I couldnt simply scrub it off my wrist. hope she doesnt do it again!

Fragrances -Avon - Tahitian Holiday
sselougha 8/19/2008 7:09:00 PM
i really wanted this frag to work on because i love all things coconut and tropical. but unfortunatly this fragrance did not agree with my chemistry one bit. i had first sprayed on a bit of paper and at first it seemed sharp with a sort of a mish mash of gardenia and something else, but then it had dryed down to a sort of soft coconut, vanilla smell, with some floral notes as well which i thought was decent. unfortunatly the minute i sprayed on my wrist nothing changed, that sharp note stayed and stayed i later had to scrub it off because it was seriously making me naseous. shame!

Skincare - Face -Neal's Yard - Baseline Lotion
sselougha 8/9/2008 12:34:00 PM
This product is a steal compared to a lot of the other skin/bodycare products in neals yards. which all seem to be over £10-15, and dont seem to last from previous experience. this cost £6.50 for 250ml. my skin has recently been going through a bad patch with an an unusual number of spots in places like the jawline, forehead and small bumps and irritaion on my cheeks, and my usual routine of garnier soft cleanser and witch hazel was not working, actually im beginning to think that the WH was probably making the problem worse. i also wanted to give it a try since i like the ethics of NY and just wanted to keep my routine as basic as possible. the SA recommened that i add a few drops of essential oil to the lotion to combat the spots and calm the irritation, she recommened 3 drops of lavender to a 50ml container of the lotion, and i decided to also added 3 drops of yarrow which was an extra 30p ontop. so far I've only used it once and the results are excellent. i usually just apply a bit to my face before i take a shower, leave it only then wipe off with a microfibre cloth, my skin was calmer, spots seemed diminished and my face had a glow that lasted. i dont really want to use it for moistirizer because of the beeswax which can cause breakouts if it builds up over time, but i might if my current moisturiser runs out. so far so good. will update

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Body Deodorant Stick
sselougha 8/6/2008 8:11:00 AM
Touch wood this deo never stops working for me. I have the kind of armpits that have made me go home and change in the middle of a working day. All chemical deos usually work for a couple of weeks then I have to resort to having to find a new one so I've tried pretty much every deo out there until I found dove which seemed a winner, but not perfect since I could still smell a whiff at the end of the day. At one point I did try a crystal spay which seemed pretty decent but again stopped working one horrible day. I was hestitant to try this because of what happened but glad I did. Currently using the travel size just incase I wasnt happy and wouldnt feel too bad if I chucked it. I use this at night straight after coming out of a shower whilst I'm wet, I wet the stick, rub till it dry or I think its enough. I dont smell anything for two day, I pretty sure I could get away for longer than that. Amazing!!

Cleansers -Garnier - Soft Complete Cleansing Milk
sselougha 7/17/2008 9:56:00 AM
I've repurchased this 3 times now for good reason since its great at removing the oil/grease and any makeup that im wearing that day. it does leave a film which is fine for winter and means i dont have to moisturise. but it is too much for me in summer so use witch hazel to remove the film. smells ok, too strong for my liking and would like to do without but it doesnt irritate. my skin feels softer and skin tone more even. great product. will keep buying until i find something thats similar but more natural.

Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
sselougha 7/7/2008 8:33:00 AM
I never really rated this product that much before since I never really saw any results that were outstanding and thought it too greasy. That was until last winter when the skin on my hands became dry, scaly and even bleeding. I tryed everything, nivea, nivea soft, e45 handcream, vaseline, everything. I used the cream on my dry, scaly hand before I went to sleep, the next day they were smooth and flake free. Pretty amazing. Will only use this for winter when i need to since it can be too greasy but still great.
