Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer

The only reason I don't give this a 5 is its high price. But honestly, for me it's worth it. It's very thick so a little bit goes a long way. I don't need to use it every night, and I usually only use it in the winter. I've tried drugstore substitutes, like Nivea, but there's nothing else so gentle AND effective, moisturizing without being oily. What really sold me on it was when I once got a really bad skin reaction to using retinol plus a random Korean serum - I think it may have had alpha hydroxy acids in it? Whatever the exact combo, it basically gave me a chemical peel. I'd never seen my skin like that - It was red, angry, peeling, irritated and crazy painful. It hurt even when I wasn't touching it. Creme de la mer was the ONLY thing that soothed it and brought it back to normal. I don't know how much it does for wrinkle prevention but it does leave my skin super soft and creamy-looking.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - The Lip Slip- Sara Happ

It's too sticky and thick for the daytime, so I put it on before bed. This is the only lip stuff I've ever used that lasted throughout the night. If you have dry lips like me, I'd recommend it. It IS pretty expensive for lip balm but it does last a long time. An added bonus for me is its nice, not overpowering scent.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HiP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner

My HG. Creamy, long-lasting, highly pigmented, applies smoothly. I wear the brown for my everyday makeup; the purple, teal, or blue for dressier or going out situations. I have Asian monolids so it took me years to find a smooth eyeliner that didn't smudge/disappear within a couple of hours. This is it! It's a little expensive for a drugstore find but still a pretty good deal, I think.

Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser Cold Cream

Affordable and effective! Lancome Bi-facil used to be my HG; it was expensive but worth it, I thought. Then one day I ran out of the Bi-facil, and I happened to have some Pond's Cold Cream lying around. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it removed my eye make-up (cream eyeliner, eyeshadow, waterproof mascara). It's a little messier to use that a liquid eye make-up remover, but the price point totally outweighs the minor hassle.

Eyeliner -Shiseido - The Makeup Eye Liner pencil

I used this eyeliner in deep brown for a few years because I like Shiseido and was too ignorant/lazy to look for a better product. The color is nice and rich, and it goes on pretty smoothly. But it all smudges and fades after an hour or two. I tried setting it by going over it with eyeshadow, which helped a little. Maybe it's because of the shape of my eyes - I'm Asian, no crease. The liner would fade from my eyelids, where I applied it, and collect under my eyes. I do not have oily lids, and I finally woke up and moved on to another eyeliner.
