Does reduce acne by drying out the spots but unfortunately does the same for other parts of the skin too. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the tightness I feel after cleansing but I'll update in a few weeks with my final verdict. Price decent for the duration of time you can use this over. One rating for packaging because there isn't any.. Probably would not buy it again specifically because of the drying affect and the fact that I can get similar results with other, cheaper products.
I do like the product but the rose-ness about this product is barely registering for me. The moisturiser is decent but I much prefer the dark blue or "hydro" ones they have on offer. Price is decent for the length of time you get to use it for. Should probably be reapplied after eating and drinking and probably twice a day otherwise. Packaging is aesthetically pleasing but the cap becomes loose in purses or bags, so I'd be wary. Also the balm can melt if left in a warm area and not return to good condition once cooled. I've found that my cheaper lip balms are better at cooling off than this one - so I'd be careful. Wouldn't buy this product or any of the Nivea ones because I do feel that there are more moisturising products out there for your dosh.
I really like this product but it is very harsh on skin. Even when using a small amount you feel like it's burning well before the mask has dried. I'd simply use it as an exfoliator on non-sensitive areas of the face and body. Perhaps once a week or twice if you ave acne prone skin. Personally, I have found that years of using strong chemicals from products like this on my face have made my skin very sensitive to products and the elements. I'm going natural with masks in the future.
Would be 5 if it didn't dry out so quickly. All it's other issues can be dealt with by exfoliating before use, using a lip liner etc etc. However it is just not acceptable that it lasts a little over a week.
I'd recommend this for: Sensitive skins Non-acne prone Body and face Children/babies Really good at doing what it claims. Doesn't give you as clean of a feel as other products but hey, it's strikes a good balance between gentleness and efficacy. Good value for money too. One lippie off for poor texture.
If you aren't using this.. You are missing out. Tips: Use after cleansing your face Use your washcloth to hold it Rub it around your face for a minute Hold for thirty seconds on any acne (or until it starts to numb up) Start with once a week and gradually build up to every other day.
Pros: Relatively cheap Gives Oily/combo skin a nice matt feel after washing Keeps pimples, hyper-pigmentation and other skin blemishes at bay Lasts a long time Easy use dispense from the tube ..And I'm not too sure but I think it is Natural product. In any case it's quite close because its Ayurvedic. Cons: Can be tough to find if you aren't close to any Indian/Arabic/North African convenience stores or outlets Smell can be off putting to some (does diminish with use and doesn't linger on skin too much) Can make you go yellow if you dab on too much. This will only be an issue if you are pale skinned. Overall it's my go to moisturiser. I will not use anything else... EVER!
Has a refreshing smell and does keep for a long time. It does lather despite what other people have said - you just need to use a sponge or shower puff. However, it doesn't do what you'd expect from a product like this. The scent doesn't last beyond the shower and it does not clean you. Also, as others have mentioned, it is quite slippery - making it bit more annoying to use than soap. It's a relatively cheap and novel gift item but do not purchase for yourself. Two lippies - for decent smell and value for money.
