Sunscreen -Eucerin - Daily Protection Moisturizing Face Lotion - Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen - 4.0 FL. OZ. 118mL

I was about to give up on using sunscreen because I'd always break out pretty bad. Then I found out what ingredients to avoid in sunscreens. This Eucerin product doesn't break me out and I love that it's SPF 30. It's not greasy either!

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Cream

I love this stuff! I am the type of person who likes to try new things but I don't think I'll be replacing this (or my DDF brightening cleanser). I kind of tried to recently with Philosophy's Hope In a Bottle but....I like this product more. Maybe because it has retinol in it and I think the combination of retinol plus salicylic acid help a lot in a skin care regime. This product does not sting my face either like some other salicylic products. Also, I believe that this is really the reason I have fewer and fewer pimples (from like 15+ to maybe 2....sometimes none?). Some people have mentioned their face turned out worse in the two weeks they used it. Mine did too. For some odd reason I stuck with it (I think it was because I was too busy to care) and at about 3 1/2 weeks I felt my face and realized I didn't have any pimples under the skin! AND!!!! I had started pharmacy school back in August and I've been stressing (thus, not a believer in stress causes acne because I have less acne and more stress now). The only thing this product doesn't do is clear blackheads. It helps with pimples but not blackheads. I've been using DDF sulfur mask once a week for that (and then the neutrogena product takes care of all the stuff the sulfur mask pulls out).

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I like it. It makes my face feel smooth, it is not cakey, and I think it wears for quite a long time. Coverage is pretty good too. I've tried it with the HD green correcting primer underneath and it helps a little with redness.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bare Canvas Paint
spoopty 9/15/2008 6:44:00 PM
My first eyeshadow primer! It lasts a long time. I bought it Fall 2007, it's September 2008 and I still have maybe a 1/4 left after using it just about everyday. It makes eyeshadows show up better, last longer, and prevents creasing. I'm going to try a paint pot next because I hear they dry slower which makes for easier blending. I'd say the paints work pretty well for blending though.

Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure
spoopty 8/28/2008 5:12:00 PM
A relative mine has been using this in the morning as a moisturizer and her skin is looking so smooth and even! She said not only can she tell a difference in her skin, her makeup goes on smoother as well. I used it for a while to take off makeup. In my experience, you cannot take makeup off only with jojoba oil because it doesn't turn milky or anything when water mixes with it. I stopped using it to take off my makeup because my face started to dry out from it (AND I HAVE OILY SKIN!!! It was one of the rare times my face has ever dried out and it was in July!). Now after seeing my relative's face after continued use I might go back to using it as a moisturizer in the morning. It works nicely for the hands and cuticles too!

Lip Liners -MAC - Cranberry Lipliner
spoopty 8/17/2008 11:08:00 PM
I love it! It's a perfect match for MAC's profusion lipstick! This liner stays on for a long long time. I actually wasn't sure I'd like the pencil liner because I like MAC's cremestick liners but I really like this liner. It goes on creamy and smooth. No tugging needed.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength
spoopty 7/23/2008 6:44:00 PM
I've bought this a few times. I love it! I used to have to walk a lot at college and I could get smelly by the end of the day. I finally tried it even though I was skeptical. It worked for me! It kept me smelling nice and reduced the sweating. I use the powder scent. Since it's pricey, I use this in the morning or if I know I'll be outside. Otherwise I'll just use a cheap deodorant like Suave.

Top/Base Coats -MAC - Overlacquer
spoopty 7/22/2008 11:48:00 PM
You know when your nails are in that between dry stage? Where they are dry but if you dare touch them they will keep your fingerprint? Well, if I put this overlacquer on my nails during that stage it dries really fast. It also keeps the nail shiny and it helps prevent chipping -however I still get chips easily after 24-48 hours but this stuff decreases the amount of chipping and peeling.

Polishes -MAC - Nail Lacquer (NEW formula)
spoopty 7/22/2008 11:30:00 PM
I love their cream nail lacquers! They don't go on streaky and the dry evenly. My nails still chip with this polish within 24-48 hours (even with their base and overlacquer -the overlacquer I love btw!) but I think they chip a little less than when I use other nail polishes.

Polishes -OPI - Nicole by OPI
spoopty 7/22/2008 9:28:00 PM
I bought one of this in the pretty blue-green color. I have been wanting to try OPI nail polishes for quite a while. Well, I'm not impressed. When putting the color on my nail it looked streaky (but it doesn't dry streaky). I think it is way overpriced because I like the real cheap stuff just as much as this. However, I gave it a three because the color is pretty but I think other nail polishes that are cheaper are equal to this or even better.

I use this when a blemish ruptures to stop the bleeding and other unpleasantness that comes with it. I got it from Wal-Mart for under $3!

Cleansers -DDF - Glycolic Exfoliating Wash 5%
spoopty 7/9/2008 3:52:00 PM
This is for the 5% wash, not 7% wash. I have oily, acne-prone skin and used to use an exfoliator with little granules in it. I was told that those can break the skin and spread the acne. YIKES! I decided to use DDF's glycolic exfoliating wash 5% because it is a chemical exfoliator without any pesky granules. (Oh, and I wanted to try glycolic acid instead of salicylic acid because I think salicylic hates me). I have only been using it for a week at night and it has been helping my skin. I can't say my skin is getting better from just using this because I have been using other products too. But this helps to remove dead skin cells and that is something acne sufferers need to take care of!
