Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

I bought this when it first came out in the summer because I'm a big fan of The Colossal Lash in Waterproof and this was in the same line. When I tried it at first, I was not at all impressed. It was too runny and made my lashes clump together. Plus, it immediately straightened my lashes after I just curled them. After hearing a bunch of great reviews, I decided to give it another try in December and now I absolutely love it! I think the formula dried-up and thickened a little bit to where it's much more suitable for my long, straight asian lashes. It gives amazing volume, lengthens, and holds my curl all day and night!!! It's my new favorite mascara! So if you don't like it at first, I'd recommend waiting for a couple of months and then giving it a try.
Bought this at Walmart just to try out the really popular silvery-black smokey eye. And it was definitely worth it! It's pretty darn cheap. The shadows are pretty good quality for the price. One of the lighter silver shadows is not pigmented really at all, but the other three work really well! There is some fallout, but even more expensive eyeshadows have that. Overall, it's a pretty good product,
Love! Favorite foundation! I love the dewy glow it gives that makes your skin look radiant and super healthy. Very blendable and easy to apply! The packaging with the pump is really just genius. The only bad thing is that it doesn't really have oil control, which kind of sucks since I have oily skin, but most foundations don't control oil anyway -- that's the job of the primer and/or setting powder. Overall great product!
Love! I got this little kit from Ulta and I looove it! It's compact and really good for travel. I love how the packaging comes with the little canvas case. I use these everyday and they never fail me. I feel that they're mislabeled on the handles, like this huge brush is for the crease, but it's way too big. But this honestly isn't a big deal. I wanted some good quality eyeshadow brushes that weren't as expensive as MAC and these are it!
Primer/ Corrector -Sephora - Skin Smoothing Makeup Base

I got this as a sample from Sephora and over the course of a couple of days, it made me break out! It did however control oil well. You have to be careful about only applying a small amount because otherwise, it will make your foundation look cakey. It would have been an okay product if it didn't ruin my skin.
Total and complete crap. I was persuaded to buy this because it promised to hold a curl. Lie. I have really stubborn straight lashes and few mascaras will hold that curl. It didn't even give any volume, length, nor defintion. Absolutely nothing. Don't waste your money.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black

This is my HG eyeliner! It has AMAZING staying power. I put this on at six in the morning, wear it all during school, and probably take it off at 7. Surprisingly enough, the color is still pretty pigmented with only a little fade ( I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a primer). Initially, it's really creamy, but I've had it for a couple of months now and it's kind of dried out. It's still usable, but just so you know, the creamy texture is only temporary. With that said, it has lasted me quite a while and I use it on a daily basis. As I mentioned, I've had it for a couple months and haven't even gone through half, so the 12ish dollars, though expensive for drugstore standards, is well worth it. The brush it comes with is total crap. Just throw it away. Go invest in a good eyeliner brush. Compared to my Bobbi Brown eyeliner, I actually prefer this one oddly enough. Don't get me wrong, the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner is a really good product. It's easier to apply than the HIP cream liner, but the staying power is not quite as strong. So if you're looking for your money's worth, definitely try this product!
Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

LOVE! I got this on a whim on Black Friday when strolling into Sephora. At 16, I never really wore foundation or any face stuff besides Bare Minerals every now and then, and concealer for zits. The woman helping me said this was the best of all the tinted moisturizers, so I bought it. It goes on really smoothly and blends well. It does an amazing job of evening out my skin tone, which is slightly reddish due to a very very mild case of rosacea. You can also build your coverage by adding more if necessary. I adore the dewy finish on this product, which gives me a wonderful healthy glow. It's super easy to apply (I just use my fingers to blend it out). And best of all, it doesn't break my skin out! I also love that it's a product that doesn't contain harmful chemicals like parabens that a lot of other makeup products have. Definitely a must have! I strongly suggest that you go try it!
Misc Beauty Tools -Japonesque - Power Curl Eyelash Curler

My favorite eyelash curler ever! I've used the Shu Umera one for a long time and was reluctant to try this. However, it soon became my favorite. I have long super-straight Asian lashes and it's a pain to curl them. This opens really wide, allowing me to grab all my lashes. The Shu Uemera one didn't do that for me. It also curls really easily without holding it there for a long time. LOVE!!!
This works pretty well. It effectively curls my stubbornly straight lashes with a little time. I have to move it from the base of my lashes to the ends clamping along the way to get the perfect curl, making it a little time consuming, but worth it. If you have never used an eyelash curler, you should really consider it. It makes your eyes look much more awake and alert, even if your lashes are already a little curly. It took off a little because it doesn't open as wide as I would like. So sometimes it doesn't grab every single eyelash, which is a bummer.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

My favorite cleanser at the moment! I use it at might to take off my makeup and it works really well! It doesn't irritate my acne-prone skin at all and I actually think it's helping it because it cleans away my makeup so effectively. I've noticed that my skin has definitely become clearer. It also smells really good and is a treat at the end of the day. LOVE IT!
Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

I get really oil during the day on my T-zone, especially my nose and this was just about the best thing ever! However, I said I wouldn't buy this again because I soon found out that if I took tissue paper and cut it into little squares, it does the same thing at a much lower price. So now I just go to the dollar store and do just that. It works just as well, promise!
This is my go-to cleanser during the winter or whenever my face gets really dry because it does a really good job of not drying out my skin. My dermatologist told me to use this, so I have been for the past 4 years. I feel that it sufficiently cleans my skin, but it's not super amazing at deep cleaning. However, I use it in the mornings when I don't have to take off my makeup or anything, and it works!
This was an impulse buy at Walmart, which I generally regret. I got the waterproof for the wax-based formula to hold the curl of my naturally straight lashes. Unfortunately, within minutes of applying my eyelashes started to droop, which was pretty disappointing it. However, it did do a great job of lengthening, giving the false eyelash sort of look. Its volume is decent, not the best but good. I wouldn't use this on a daily basis, but maybe for a night out or some special occasion. It really does take time to apply this stuff because you have to be quite careful. I have pretty long lashes that clump together really easily, so I had to be extra cautious when applying this product, especially when applying the second coat. You also have to be careful about getting all the white spots. This is probably a good product for those with naturally curly lashes and some time, but not for me.
One of my favorite eyeshadow quads EVER. Usually, I never venture beyond drugstore eye shadows (besides the free samples from clinique), so I was super excited to find out how great this was when I decided to splurge. The shimmery medium-light brown color is amazing for the day time! I put it in the crease on top of an all-over eyelid color a few shades darker than my normal skin tone. All the shades are amazing and I am in love! Definitely recommend!
