Oh my, I love this stuff. I got it a few weeks ago and just started using it the other day, I've had 3 applications and there's already a huge difference. I put it all over and I look like I just got back from Hawaii. I really want to buy the matching face stuff. 5/5, I rated this because it's $7, does its job, smells DELICIOUS (kinda like a faint soap/fruity/flowery smell but it isn't strong and it smells vague and natural) and it hasn't washed off. I'm like a pale beige-ish skin tone and I got medium/tan color I think.
Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

Love this stuff. Got it for about $11 a year ago at Target, and I still havent used even half of it after wearing a liberal amount every day! the brush is actually pretty good and I gave it a 2 for packaging quality because the powder wouldnt come out of the can and i had to manually cut holes in it. This powder gives a very natural finish and seems to brighten up the face (I've had multiple friends try and buy it as well). Definitely a HG product for me. Try it!
This is an okay product. I bought the waterproof kind and Neutrogena doesnt have the hype for great eye products so I wasn't expecting much anyway. It can get pretty clumpy and the brush is just an average, straight hair-bristle brush. For top lashes it doesnt nothing at all, just coats your lashes in a small amount of clumpy mascara. For bottom lashes is better though. My eyes water sometimes because of allergies and my mascara stayed put for it. I would say, nothing special at all about this mascara, at least for me. There are much better quality mascaras out there for the same price at the same store, so do your research and try one! (one of my favorites is the Maybelline Big Lash)
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Accutane (by prescription)

WOW, this changed my life. For 5 years I had oily, pimply, sometimes-bright-red and sometimes-fair skin. I went through about 10 blotting sheets per day because my face was so incredibly oily and my pores were always clogged, no matter what kind of cleanser or makeup I used. I would cover my face in concealer and hide, because of how bad I thought it was. I would always wear sweatshirts because I had acne all over my shoulders and back... it was really bad. My dad had been on Accutane as a teenager and after 2 years of pleading with my dermatologist, I finally was prescribed Claravis. I started on the lowest dose, 20mg twice a day in the form of a large purple pill (taken once in morning, once at night) and I felt a difference within a week. I heard stories about horrble breakouts at first but I didn't get one. My skin got dry and my lips super chapped by the end of the first month, but acne had decreased on my face by about 60%. (my back/shoulder acne took about 3 months to start fading, but it was worth the time.) about 3 months into it,my doctor changed my 20mg twice a day to be 20mg three times a day, to make it 60mg/day. It made me break out at first after pimples had finally started fading. but that wasn't the worst part. The 60mg/day had given me depression, memory loss, and suicidal thoughts. before Accutane I had an excellent memory and was always a very happy person, but Accutane changed me for a while. Thankfully I switched back to the 40mg/day and those symptoms went away. Even though I stayed on the lowest dosage of Accutane for the whole 6 months, I had very good results and now my face back and shoulders are completely smooth and clear. My face never gets oily nor my hair, which is sooo nice to live with. if you get an opportunity for Accutane, TAKE IT!!!!!! It changed my life, it can change yours. I am now completely unashamed of my skin and never have to wear face makeup anymore. Tank tops are my shirt of choice and I'm loving life.
I bought this (and the Aveda Shampure conditioner) for my 15th birthday a year ago, and i bought the big kind (not sure what exact size they are). It smells really good for a shampoo, and if I had fine blonde oily hair like my mother instead of thick red dry hair, I'd probably like this a lot better. I get my hair done at a salon that only uses Aveda products and my hair turns out great there, but at home the same products make my hair frizzy and dry and wirey. I enjoy the Herbal Essences products way more for my hair type, and the price of $40 that I paid for my Aveda shampoo can't compare to the $5 herbal essences.
I dislike this product very much. I had heard only good things about Lancome mascara and thinking that because of the price it would be nothing short of fabulous, because you get what you pay for, and all that junk. I bought this at the mall for $25.99 in the shade Brown. I'm very disappointed. The best part of this is the pretty bottle, but I'm judging on what's inside. The consistency is very "wet" and it takes FOREVER for your lashes to dry after putting on even one coat. It is also very prone to clumping and with one drop of water will wash all down your face. I've used better $5 drugstore mascaras. Sorry, Lancome.
Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20

This is an OK product at best. It doesn't blend into your skin...it kind of just sits there. It doesn't cover up pores or acne. The consistency is very very watery and it does emphasize dry areas of the face. I will not repurchase...but even if I wanted to, there is so much in the bottle that it would probably last about a year.
Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
sparksflylove 7/16/2011 8:01:00 PM
I love this. It combines sunscreen, tint, mousturizer, and retinol treatment all in one. I got mine on a whim without reading any reviews on it for $10.99 at Target and it is one of my better purchases, really. I noticed much more even skin, and I always use it as a base and instead of foundation. I would reccommend this to anyone. GREAT BUY!!!!
Liquid -Neutrogena - Skin Clearing Oil-Free Makeup

This was an okay product I suppose. I used this for about...2 years? I didn't realize how badly it looked until I looked back and saw the pictures. It's very orange-y and it totally dries your skin out. It makes it very obvious that you're wearing foundation. It does help with breakouts though, but I don't think it's worth buying. This would be good for someone with really really bad acne and lots of redness, it would help with covering it up, but since I stopped using this, I stopped using foundation altogether (except for like parties and weddings and stuff) and my skin is way better.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
sparksflylove 7/13/2011 1:33:00 PM
This product isn't terrible, but it isn't very good. It smells great though that is probably the only good thing about it. It's very drying, it doesn't really help breakouts in the long run, it'll give you flaky patches all over your face... It will reduce pimple size slightly but it'll burn and itch and when it's all over you'll be left with what looks like a flaky red circle where the pimple used to be. Save your money and don't buy this.
Very runny, drippy eyeliner. Almost like using a cheap marker. I bought this in the 'expresso' shade and it went on like black, which does not look good on me. Unfortunately, I cannot return because I threw away the receipt :/
Concealers -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Spot Concealer
sparksflylove 6/3/2011 12:17:00 PM
My HG drugstore concealer! purchased this a few days ago and not only did it cover up spots, it also healed them in 2 days. ill repurchase.
great product!!! I recently ran out but will repurchase ASAP. I have really oily, acne prone skin and this seems to keep my pores unclogged, if not even improve my skin. Like everyone else said, a little goes a long way and really makes a difference. BUY IT!
I honestly bought this only because of the packaging hahaha. It comes in the beautiful black and gold tube. The brush isn't anything special. It adds neither length nor volume to my lashes. It also comes off a little too easily. My favorite mascara is and always will be Maybelline Great Lash BIG <33333
Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover
sparksflylove 6/1/2011 11:27:00 AM
Really nice eye makeup remover. Gets it all off. It does leave kind of a residue, but just wipe your eyes with a towel and you'll be fine. I gave it 4 sticks instead of 5 because it does burn when it gets into my eyes. but my eyes burn when anything gets near them lol. I'm gonna buy this again.
