Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Waterproof

I've been using this mascara for over a year and I think it's a really good one for a natural everyday look. I have really short straight eyelashes so I curl them and then apply this mascara. The end result is really great. It lengthens and holds the curl all day which I really love but if I didnt use curlers before applying the mascara they would not be curled well at all. It doesn't smudge, run or flake so I can't fault it for this. It also comes off easily with make-up remover but won't run in the shower. Overall it's a really good long-wearing mascara but if you have really straight eyelashes like me, you will probably want to use an eyelash curler. I recommend to all!

Toners -The Body Shop - Seaweed Clarifying Toner

For me, this didn't work out. It left a horrible sticky, greasy like texture on my skin and stung quite a bit, making my skin burn a little. I like the other seaweed products but this was a let down.

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream

This is one of the best moisturiser I've ever used overall and I've tried lots of different things like dermalogica and clinique products, so I think it proves that you can get really good products for a good price. It is one of the only moisturisers that leaves my skin relatively matte looking straight after applying it. It feels really nice to massage into your skin as well because it has a cool, almost gel type texture. It gives me just the right amount of moisture so my skin feels soft but not oily. The packaging is the only thing I don't like. I hate having to dip my fingers into the pot because it's not very hygienic so I just make sure to wash my hands thoroughly before dipping them in and close th lid tightly to stop dirt getting in!

Powder -MAC - Mineralize Foundation / Loose - Light Medium

I was at a MAC counter and asked an MA about a foundation that would be light but give enough coverage for my skin without blocking my pores. She did a demo of this product on me before I bought it and it looked really great, my skin had a nice glow to it. It doesn't make my skin totally matte, which is a good thing for me as I prefer my skin not to look like that, but controls the oil very well. I don't use the built-in sponge because it's not very hygienic so I instead I tip a little bit out onto a clean tissue and apply it from the tissue to my face with the MAC 136 brush. The only downside is that the packaging sucks! It's quite hard to transport as it's quite an awkward shape and the powder has a tendency to spill, especially after I took out the sponge! Now it won't go back on! I will definitely be buying this product again but this time, I'll be sure to keep the sponge in there, even if I don't use it!
