Sunscreen -Coppertone - Spectra 3 SPF 50

Finally, a sunscreen that doesn't flake on skin or shine!!!! my skin is quite oily but this one doesn't make me shine as much as other sunscreens that i have tried. i used to use shiseido annessa pa++ sunscreen and annemarie borlene spf24-they are both extremely expensive, had weird chemical smell that just wont go away. Plus, shiseido was too white, annemari's was greasy but very flaky(the white film like things come off your face like there is no tomorrow). I was afraid to try this at first because it was from coppertone(their stuffs are greasy) but hell, it's non-irritating, spf50 and only 16 bucks CAD, why not give it a try? when i put this on, it looks quite greasy but doesn't feel heavy. I didn't blot the oiliness before i put on my lancome photogenic pressed powder but I didn't see any shine on my face for at least 4 hrs. This is good, and weird, because using that powder alone makes my face shine within an hour. One minor bad thing about this is that it might not cut off UVA as much as the shiseido one(no PA++ things). But it has high spf, less greasy than some of the expensive sunscreens, doesn't flake, and cheap(if you think about the amount you get)!!! I haven't used this long enough to see if it will break me out but so far, but this is the best sunscreen I ever purchased.

Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - In Love Again

i'm sick of perfumes that give escada LE style drydown. It makes me gag! This one is the most beautiful perfume for 4 hrs then turns horrible to the max even after you take a shower the day after you spray it on. 2 lippies for distictly complex innitial and middle notes, 1 lippie for amazing lasting power. And the bottle: It is so crappy that I just have to mention = p . There's a burst of pineapple the second you spray it on, changes to some wonderful fruity citrusy smell i cannot pinpoint, then turns into a lemony spice i forgot the name of, which, i find a little unpleasant(but it's the one you'd use for exceptionally "stinky" meats(usually pork) or small river fishes). Again the scent changes to another cute fruity smell i cannot define, until the horrible drydown. I would have given 4 lippies to this if the drydown was tolerable. No fruity scent including versus time for pleasure, dolly girl, and Escada LE's ever lasted this long on me. Lasting power is truly AMAZING.

Fragrances -Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet

I tried this twice in the past: At first, I thought it smelled plastic-y. The second time i tried it at a duty free shop, i didn't smell anything! So I didn't miss it when it disappeared from all department stores a couple years ago. However, after reading some reviews that guys go nuts over this perfume, i had to give this another try(i'm currently working on a guy, yes!). When I tried it earlier today at a perfume store, I didn't smell anything again until I left the store. Why? The busy store was full of perfume scent in the air, that's why. Out of all "the perfumes that most guys like"(g, ultraviolet, allure, laura by laura biagiotti, eclat d'arpege, dolly girl, etc.), this seemed to be the most unusual yet intriguing scent to me except Laura-I couldn't test Laura =(. This is, to me, a stronger version of G by Giorgio Beverly Hills with less initial fresh notes of G. I like G a lot, but it doesn't last on me nor is it strong enough. I think they can be layered together no prob. This scent sooo mysterious, out of ordinary and feminine the way the colour purple is. It's longlasting but not heady or strong as people say it is. Perfect scent for fall and winter.

Fragrances -Woods of Windsor - mimosa body spray

Woods of Windsor Mimosa is the best soapy smell i've ever come across. It is comforting, soft, nicely fresh - for only 8 bucks CAD at Winners! No sexiness, whatsoever. Unless u find fresh-out-of-shower or fresh out of laundry that sorta scent sexy. Mimosa reminds me of the cuddly teddy bear on the fabric softener jugs. The only comparison to a perfume i could make is to Glow by J.Lo. Some elements of this perfume is similar to Glow but this one doesn't smell heady or give me the bitter, obviously chemical-like drydown. The bottle isn't pretty but i can live with that, I'm getting 100ml for 8 bucks. I do not know why i spent hundreds of dollars on "clean soapy" perfumes from department stores. This is it for me! *UPDATE* Im taking off 2 lippies. after several times i tried this, it turns my stomach upside down no matter how little i spray it on. I like the scent, but i don't know y the scent is making me sick.

Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Moist Lip Wear Retro Red 308B

OMG My HG red lipstick! I bought NYC lipsticks in Sheer Red, Retro Red, and Ruby as I was unsure which red would work for me. By just looking at it, the colour is brownish bright red. It smells cheap but is super moisturizing, highly pigmented and inexpensive. I blot about 50% out after applying it and the colour tones down into deep cherry red. I think this red should work on many other skintones but If you have nc30~40 skin and has yellow undertone, I recommend you to try this one.

Eye Shadow -T'estimo - single shadow BE -13

I have to pay about x3 more (i'm not kidding) to get T'estimo products here in Vancouver, and I was lucky to come across this at a Korean duty free shop. A single shadow is about $6~7 CAD so it is on the very cheap side if you buy it at dfs. They have several beige shadows and the one I have has pink microshimmer similar to MAC's Mineralize product in Porceline Pink, but has slight orange-ish quality which makes the shadow look like a much subtler version of MAC motif shadow. However, Motif makes my skin tone look dead and this one doesn't. I use this when i don't want bold colours on my lids. Good thing this one doesn't have big silver glitters like many other T'estimo shadows as the glitters move around your face no matter what you do to keep them stay put. I think this shadow on people with paler skin(my skin tone is nc 35) together with a pinkish red lipstick will look fabulous.

i feel this way whenever i try a fragrance at a department store, the perfume from a tester seems to stay longer on me than the one i bring home! When i tried coco madmoiselle edp at the bay, it lasted on me at least 6 hrs on that hot summer day. Today i wore it and the temp. was 6 dregrees cesius lower, but the scent was almost gone in 3 hrs. So i set out to buy the lotion. The lotion itself is fairly heavily scented so people with sensitive noses could find this overpowering if they used it with the perfume. The scent is a little fresher than the edp and it seems to bring out the sweeter note on me during drydown. I don't care for moisturizing effect as long as the scent lasts on me. When i use the body lotion the scent lasts about 1.5 times longer.

Lipstick -Revlon - apricot blaze

interesting bright neon coral that looks great on either pale people or super tanned. It is very pigmented, moisturizing and fairly matte at the same time. I love this because the colour is so unique and hides my natural lip colour, which is hard to find.

my hg beige/peach lipstick. It is so pigmented and matte enough to cover my red lips. I wear Chanel electric on top and i get the the most luscious peach pink, something i had only seen in computer-edited cosmetics ads.

Fragrances -Christian Dior - Hypnotic Poison

i could detect the woodiness with the vanilla but nothing special. i also don't get the rootbeer smell, so i guess it's just the chemistry thing. Hypnotic Poison is quite heavy; someone below said that she likes this more than L'instand de Guerlain but im quite the opposite here. I like my vanilla with bright floral. Hypnotic has a great staying power though.

it's gross. there's no way in hell i would have gotten this if it didn't come as a set with rose edt and eau des vanilliere. How the heck did peopld in the old days liked this smell?

hey, vanilla that doesn't gross me out! I hate vanilla scented candles, room freshner, etc. because the smell makes me sick n suffocates me. This one doesn't, as tiny bit of flowery note lightens up the vanilla. it also smells a little like the vanilla note in L'instant de Guerlain(my another favourite). I shoudl try layering those two in winter.

I've smelled many rose fragrances and by far this is my favourite because it is fresh and soft. Rose fragrances smell rancid on me but this one doesnt!!! I can detect many similarities with neroli rose solid perfume but this is certain more fresh. I will certainly buy this again when i run out!

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Electric Glossimer

i hear this is discontinued? I got one today and the gloss was almost empty. wth? Im going back for exchange. anyways, this is what i wanted bb's ruby sugar to be - a pretty fuschia/red with gold shimmers. My lips look so sexy and plump under natural light. I don't know why i didnt try this before. I would have bought several of these...EDIT: try layering with beige-salmon lipstick like adobe coral from revlon and mac lipliner in cranberry. It looks amazing!!!!
