Tinted Moisturizer -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Tinted Moisturizer

My skin loves this product so so much. The ingredients are nourishing and moisturizing, which I really appreciate. If this is gonna sit on my face all day long it better benefit it. First, I prime my face with Hourglass primer; while I wait for that to set I shake the bottle of TM then apply to the back of my hand, take a flat top synthetic brush, swirl on top of product to make sure it's mixed well, then I apply to my face in a circular motion to blend. Then I set it with CHANEL Universelle Compacte powder. I'm left with dewy flawless skin all day. Coverage is light to medium depending on how you blend. Also, sure it seems pricey, but it comes with 1.7 o.z of product. A lot more product than a foundation bottle. I think it's worth every single penny. I'm NC40-42 and use Linen.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

Doesn't remove makeup at all for me, leaves everything behind. I end up having to use a lot in order to be able to get anything off, and I don't use a lot of foundation. I also didn't like the smell at all, smells just like hair dye.
This color is perfection in a jar. This is a light, soft, very neutral taupe with very fine green shimmer. When I wear this I wear it with a neutral flesh tone eyeshadow under my brow bone, just to blend the edges, then eyeliner. It does not need anything else. It's that good. Like when you find the right man that steals your heart every time you see him. Oh yeah, It's that good. Now... If only It could fetch me some chocolate.
The moment I opened the jar, I gasped. It is..Absolutely... Stunning. Amazing. Gorgeous. Beautiful. Striking. And every other synonym for beautiful. This is a bright coral/orange/peach with hot pink duochrome. It looks light in the online pic, so I thought it was going to be a light peach. So when I saw It in person I thought It was an eyeshadow. When I realized it was a blush, I nearly fainted. *Fans self* *Holds ice cube up to forehead to cool off* It's magic. Very lightly applied, It leaves an orange and hot pink glow. The texture is great, really smooth and blends beautifully. Since It's a loose powder, I gently dip the brush, tap off the excess onto the lid, then tap onto my cheeks. Then blend gently, so I don't ruin and blend away the shimmer. Stays put all day. This is so incredible, that I am up after 3 am writing a review for it. Now that's love.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lifeguard's Choice Weatherproofing Lip Balm

For those of you who don't like the white cast it leaves, try this over a red l/s. It turns red l/s into a fab bright fuschia/hot pink. Depending on how much you apply. Thank me later. :P
This stuff is truly amazing. Great coverage and lasts all day, just like the name says. No breakouts or clogged pores. At first I had a hard time using it since It is so pigmented and thick, but once I started using it with a damp sponge It was perfection. I wash my sponge every time before I use it then squeeze it with a towel and voila! Has just enough coverage without being too sheer or too heavy. Just the right balance. Makes my blush stay put all day long without fading. I use it in Natural tan and it is a perfect match.
I mostly wear red nail polish so I have lots, this out of all the red polishes I have is my fav. It's my staple polish. It is bright and RED. Just how I like it. It's like Ruby woo in np form. Which is awesome cause that's the lippie I wear the most. Maybe that's why the name is Ruby Ruby? Love the formula. Pigmented and stays put. Dries quickly without bubbling.
This color is amazing. It's the color of a MLBB l/s, but in a np. Actually, It's the exact same color as NYX Thalia l/s. It is a neutral brownish mauvish pink. Elegant, classy, professional, and feminine. I love it with my NC40 skin tone. The formula is great, very pigmented and doesn't easily chip. Lasts for days. And I do my dishes by hand. That's like the ultimate test, cause polishes that aren't that good chip by the time I'm done doing dishes. This stays put. I'm very impressed by this brand.
This blush is really nice. I'm not very big on pink blushes, but this one is a darker pink, so I like it. Completely matte and soft. Blends beautifully. It's very pigmented, very little is all I need. I was in a hurry one day and ran out the door without putting anything on my lips. I looked in my purse for the usual l/s I keep inside it and It was nowhere to be found. No lip balm either. All I had in there was this blush. So I thought, why not? I put it on my lips and omg. Instant MLBB. It looked so pretty. Like a matte l/s. It didn't dry my lips out and it lasted so long. Great stuff.
Palettes -E.L.F. - Beauty Book - Neutral Eye Edition

This is a beautiful palette. However, It's not really fully neutral. Has more colors than neutrals. Pinks, plums, purples were added into this palette. The colors are beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I was expecting more neutrals. As for the quality, It's fab. Very very pigmented. Silky soft. Mattes, shimmers, and frosted shadows, all in one palette. Comes with lots of shadows, for just $5. Very appropriate for Fall. Maybe It should have been called a Fall palette, lol.
Lip Gloss -Avon - glazewear intense Cherry Liqueur

This color is stunnnning. This is a muted reddish brown. On my lips it gives me a MLBB look. When sheered out it is a nude on me. Very pigmented and lasts a very long time. The formula is fab, not sticky, but silky smooth. Feels very moisturizing, never dry. I love the doe foot applicator, It's easier to use than the brush one and doesn't come out with too much product. I was disappointed at first because in the book it looked bright red, and irl it looks nothing like it did in the book. But once I used it, I loved it. I def recommend it, especially for darker skin tones.
Eyeliner -Avon - Sparkle 'n Shine Eye Liner - Gold Gleam
soniawoniapart2 9/6/2010 4:42:00 AM
I was disappointed when I received my order. In the book, It looked like a pigmented bold gold liner. In person, It's a very light, very sheer glitter liner. It goes on like It really wants to be pigmented and is trying hard to be, but no matter how much I apply It comes out light. Very watery. This is just OK. I gave it 2 lippies cause sometimes it looks OK. Avon is a hit or miss, IME. Either a product looks like the picture and description, or it doesn't. There's no in between. It's like gambling, either you win or you don't. Unfortunately, I lost with this product.
I REALLY dislike this product. In fact, I don't like ANYTHING I have tried from this brand. And I tried many. I tried giving it multiple chances to make sure I didn't like it, and I just don't. This does NOT absorb into the hair. Just sits on top of the hair and makes it feel crunchy and dry at the same time, wtf??? How does that happen? First 2 ingredients are soybean and corn oil....Uhhh...Can you say cheap? Which is bull cause the price tag sure isn't cheap! Makes my hair feel like I dipped my head in cooking oil. It doesn't wash out easily either, let me tell you. Leaves hair greasy for days. Ugh, save yourselves the trouble, ladies. And the money. If you really wanna try this, just go to the cooking oil section of your grocery store and buy a bottle of soybean oil, and a bottle of corn oil. Shouldn't cost more than $5.
Lotions/ Creams -Carol's Daughter - Mango Melange Shea Souffle
soniawoniapart2 8/24/2010 3:04:00 AM
This product is terrible. Just like the other products I have tried from Carol's Daughter. I keep trying to give this brand a chance but it always disappoints. This doesn't absorb. It sits on top of my skin and peels off if I touch it or rub against something. Might be cause of the soybean and corn oils. They are oils that don't absorb and are very greasy. It feels gross. Like I went swimming in oil that was used for french fries. And last time I checked, I'm not a french fry! This brand uses they cheapest ingredients possible as the main ingredients and the good ones as the last and then charge high prices. I mean, soybean and corn oil?? Really?? GROSS!! *shudders* I've used quite a few things from CD and I haven't liked ANYTHING.
Primer/ Corrector -Fyrinnae - Velvet-Gel Silica Primer
soniawoniapart2 8/9/2010 11:11:00 PM
I did not like this product at all. It's streaky and doesn't blend. Makes my foundation hard to blend and streaky as well, and in some areas it makes it clump up. The worst part is it turns my foundation orange. Which it NEVER did before with any other primer. Also makes my foundation wear off fast. Just slides right off. I've given it so many chances and always end up disappointed. Can't wear it alone cause it makes my face feel like I'm wearing glue. It's a terrible product. I bought the full size cause of all the rave reviews and now I'm stuck with it. Bleh.
