Makeup Brushes -Avon - Bent eyeliner brush

At first, I couldn't get the hang of this brush, but once I did, I realized it was genius. It was ergonomically designed. It's weird at first but you just need to practice with it. It's not too thick not too thin. Gets close to the lash line. The quality could be better though. It looks cheap. But I do like how it works.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Smoke and Mirrors palette

I absolutely love this palette. All the shades are stunning. I can do dramatic or daytime smokey eye with this. There's an off white shade, a neutral pink, 2 purplish greys, a dark charcoal grey, and a chocolate brown. All have subtle shimmer without being OTT. All colors work well together and have great pigmentation. I even like the little brush it comes with. It's much better than the usual sponge tip you get with other palettes. I had to have it the moment I saw it.

Toners -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Vitamin C Balancing Facial Toner

This is my absolute HG toner. I LOVE IT SO SO MUCH. I never go without using it. I use it nightly. Keeps my skin even, clear, and glowing. Keeps breakouts at bay since it has a little salicylic acid in it. Hydrates and doesn't dry my skin out. This is the bestest toner I have ever used and I have used many. I ONCE (that's it just once) tried using another toner since I like to play with many different products cause It's fun, but It wasn't the same. I switched right back. One bottle lasts super long. I've been using this for years and will continue to do so.

Looks frosty in the tube but don't be scared. I was at first when I received it in the mail and opened up the tube. I thought, 'what have I done?' But then I put it on, and on the lips, It's a beautiful nude color with light shimmer. I was pleasantly surprised. Looks great paired with dramatic eyes and light blush. Pigmented, creamy, and sexy.

Lipstick -MAC - Mattene in You Say Tomato

Looooooooooooooooooooooooooove this! This is a semi matte, red orange lippie, with lots of extra orange added in. Similar to Lady danger. It bright as heck and I love it that way. Super duper pigmented. I have to use a lip brush to apply it so I don't over apply. Has very good staying power and when it fades it fades evenly.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Electro Flash - Odd Couple

The gold side is gorgeous, the purple is just ok. Not very pigmented, sheer. Needs a lot of primer to show up. Maybe I need to break into it way more? I'm not totally disappointed though since the gold is perfect. Pigmented and has different colors and textures through it.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Shimpagne (Rococo) [DISCONTINUED]

Gorgeous highlighter and works great with my NC40 skin. Best way to describe it is golden beige. Ads a beautiful glow without looking frosty or like a disco ball. I add it to my cheekbones or sometimes even brow bone. The formula is wonderful, soft not chalky. I use my 187 brush with this to add just enough product without overdoing it.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush - Nuance

L.O.V.E. This blush. LOVE. I just about drooled when I first saw it. In fact, I may, MAY, may have gotten a little tear. Phenomenal color. The most perfect color I have ever seen (peach blushes are my life). It's is a light warm peach with beautiful fine subtle gold shimmer. Does that sound divine OR WHAT? It goes on sheer and is fool proof. Perfection either with the no makeup look, or a full face. It never looks heavy or overdone. *tears up a bit* It's magical. I'm surprised a freakin' rainbow doesn't come out every time I open it.

Mascara -Tarte - Lights, Camera, Splashes Waterproof Mascara
rated 5 of 5
soniawonia 7/7/2010 3:26:00 AM

This is really good for a WP mascara. I didn't have high expectations for It since I haven't had very good luck with WP mascaras in the past. But this one is really good. I was surprised that the formula isn't dry like I expected it to be. It actually feels like a regular mascara. Doesn't straighten my lashes, lasts all day without flaking, great brush that is thin but full, easily washes off with just soap and water (no mu remover needed; no tugging on lashes to get product off). Great stuff!

Mascara -Tarte - Lights Camera Lashes
rated 4 of 5
soniawonia 7/7/2010 3:17:00 AM

This mascara is really good. I like the formula, I like the brush. The brush is not as thick as I am used to, but It somehow works great. Gets every lash and doesn't rip them out like I have experienced with other mascara brushes (*cough cough* lash blast *cough cough*). The formula isn't light and isn't heavy. Best way to describe it is 'clean'. Doesn't clump, doesn't make my lashes feel hard and stiff, lasts all day without flaking, and washes off very easily at the end of the day with just soap and water.

Mascara -Tarte - Lash Hugger Mascara
rated 3 of 5
soniawonia 7/7/2010 3:13:00 AM

This mascara is just ok. The Pros: Natural Nice full brush Washes off easily Doesn't make my lashes fall out The Cons: Some days the product will be dry and hard to use, other days It's normal and applies easily. Dries too fast as I'm applying and if I'm not quick it feels like I'm pulling out my lashes. Sometimes on the days when it comes out dry straight out of the tube, it makes my lashes stick together and makes 3 lashes look like 1. Sometimes leaves a little clump ball at the end of my lashes. Overall, this is a no go for me. I gave it a 3 cause I really like the brush a lot. But if the product sucks the brush doesn't really matter.

Palettes -Unlisted Brand - BH Cosmetics - 120 Color Palette 1st Edition
rated 4 of 5
soniawonia 6/7/2010 9:42:00 PM

Some of these e/s I love, some are ok, and some I don't like at all. The ones I love are the shimmery. Those are pretty pigmented and beautiful. Blend beautifully and wear great. The ok ones are the mattes, as not all of them are pigmented and can be chalky. Luckly a good primer and lots of digging into the product helps. The ones I just don't like at all are the frosty ones. They are just way OTT frosty. They have thick silver shimmer particles. Best way to describe it. They're very bland as well and wayyy too soft. One big thing is every time I open the palette, I get a strong chemical smell. Like burnt plastic or very close to the smell of gasoline. I wonder if airing it out helps. I'll have to try that out.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Naked
rated 5 of 5

This is the best for the simple, neutral eyes. I reach for this when I wear bold coral or fuschia lips. This is my fav MAC pigment. It's so lovely. Soft and not chalky at all. Just a little is enough. I apply it all over my lids and It never looks overdone.

Palettes -Too Faced - Glamour to Go III Pocket Palette
rated 2 of 5
soniawonia 6/1/2010 8:10:00 PM

There's nothing 'glamorous' about this palette. It's ok. Not wow. The colors are dry and cheap. The selection is cr@ppy too. Pink, purple, lime green, pretty much colors that don't all work together. I ordered this online and was very surprised when I got it. Not at all TF quality. Usually their e/s are soft, silky, and very pigmented. These aren't. For a second there I thought, TF, dat you?? The only color I like is the gold color. But even that one lacks TF quality. They're more d/s quality. Reminded me of the cr@ppy teenage days when I used chalky ds e/s. The blush is ok. I do like the glosses luckly. So that's why I gave it a 2. I especially like the nude color. I'm almost out and have been looking for a dupe of it. I *think* It might be TF Centerfold but I'm not too sure since there's no name for them on packaging or the boxes. I call the packaging 'false advertisement', because it looks so cute from the outside, then once you open it, it's a huge disappointment. Like when you go to a bar and get super drunk, then take home what you think is a hot guy, only to wake up next to him the next day and realize he's fug. Best way to describe it. Teehee.

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte Lipstick - Strawberry Suede [DISCONTINUED]

This is insanely gorgeous. It's super bright and not for the faint of heart! Very pigmented. The best way I can describe this is red coral. This paired with Illamasqua Lover is love. It's super bold and makes a statement. The texture is tdf, matte yet glides easily. Not drying at all, It actually feels like a matte lip balm IMO. Color stays true for hours without having to reapply.
