Is there such a thing as too much MLBB? This is almost an exact match for my gum color, which I understand is what you should look for, but for some reason it doesn't thrill me by itself, maybe because it's so close to the color of my pigmented lips. I'm cool so I thought this would knock it out of the park, but it makes me think it'll wear down to meh. I'm starting to think it may be better for dark-haired lovelies like the girl in the pic above. I put KissKiss Liplift on underneath and Josie Maran Dyani gloss on top and that is a very wearable look, but I'm not getting the teeth whitening effect much. So far, Lustering is still HG and I'd like to try Sweetie but I don't want frost. Might repurchase, but not definite.

I think these work well on aging lips as long as you exfoliate and use Aquaphor or some other balm at night, and apply carefully to avoid running into the nasal labial folds. Berry Smoothie is my favorite everyday color but I also find Sweet Tart, Pink Truffle and Peach Parfait to be very wearable without looking hoochie or too bright. I love Lollipop but it's just a bit much. I tried Cotton Candy but it's too light, although it looks nice under Sweet Tart. I expect these to need re-application often but they do leave a nice residual tint and the price isn't horrendous. EDIT-Jan 22 2012 After trying to work with these for a month I'm giving up. I've never had such chapped lips and have to use Aquaphor now. I'm glad I gave away the extras I bought. Concept good, execution unsatisfactory.

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash

I thought it was just me, but after reading the other reviews I realize how badly formulated this mascara is. It didn't do much for my lashes, was hard to use close to the eyeline so that I invariably smudged the underside of my upper lid, and leaves me with panda eyes after a few hours. I was so mortified after I came home from a party yesterday to see the smudges. Unless you are willing to check a mirror every hour and risk looking vain, you can expect a mess. The only plus is that it was free, and it's no wonder they have to give it away. Tossed, and no loss.
