Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole Ultra 24h

I have tried sooooo many foundations. I have sensitive skin that breaks out with many products, even those that are "hypoallergenic". I was apprehensive when the Lancome consultant wanted to try the original Teint Idole on me, but I liked the sample so much that I went back to buy the full, expensive bottle. However, they had apparently discontinued that and I had to get the 24 hour version, which worried me again. My skin does not like change! No worries! I've been using the 24 hr version for most of the year and I love, love, love it! When I take off my make up with a cleansing cloth at the end of the day, there is foundation on it, even if I've been outside in the humidity and heat all afternoon. I can't say enough great things about this foundation. This is (hopefully) the last foundation I will have to switch to! :) It has excellent coverage and looks natural at the same time. I don't feel like I'm wearing any foundation, even when I'm exercising or outdoors. Love it!

This product is way too expensive. That said, I love it. I have had NO problems with it causing dryness or a rash on my cheeks or lips, even though I have super sensitive skin. The rose fragrance is delightful. The color is perfect. It lasts all day on my cheeks. I just wish it lasted longer on my lips. The packaging isn't convenient to carry around in my purse for touch ups during the day. If the bottle opens and it spills, it will ruin my purse AND I'd be out of a lot of money! Other than that, I highly recommend Benetint and I will definitely be buying it again in the future.

Mascara -Essence - I Love Extreme - Volume Mascara

After reading several reviews on MUA about the Essence line of mascaras, I decided to head over to Ulta and get a couple to try. Yesterday I used the I Love Extreme Volume mascara and was quite pleased with the results. I have super long lashes, so all I really want is dramatic volume without the 2 step process some mascaras have. I find those that form the "tubes" on my eyelashes cause me to pull them off during the day and I end up losing eyelashes that way. The ILEV mascara was dramatic and created a glamorous look, but not inappropriate for the workplace. I have very sensitive eyes and this mascara did not bother them, even when I got a bit on my eye while experimenting with the fat brush. All in all, I really liked this mascara and the price can't be beat!
