I never really believe in products that claim to adapt to your skin giving everyone a different shade, but decided to splurge on this after reading great things about it and seeing countless people use it, since it's not cheap at all. I LOVE IT. Whenever I don't know what blush to wear, or if I'm having a bleh day, I put this on and it just transforms my face. I have a few blushes that do that to my skin because who doesn't like a quick pick me up? I just feels like it goes with a lot of different looks, and you can be subtle or build it up as much a you want it. I don't think I'll repurchase it because it's quite expensive, but I'm really enjoying using it. Plus, the packaging is stunning, and it has a huge mirror.
This is my first NYX cream blush and it has set the bar high for other shades. The consistency is perfect, not dry at all (like other cream blushes that you have to 'warm up' before blending) more runny and 'wet' in the good sense. It blends easily into the skin -I use a Real Techniques stippling brush to apply it-, over bare face, foundation and even powder. And the best of the best is that it lasts ALL DAY. I have combination dehydrated skin and this just stays on like no other. The color is really nice and natural, I'm NC25/30 with yellow undertones, and this suits me all year round. Definitely be picking up other shades to see if they live up to this one!
There was such a hype around this line that when their products became available I wanted to try them. I got the foundation and the concealer, and even though I like both, this concealer has become one of my HG products. I deal with undereye circles, so light reflective concealers/highlighters alone don't do the trick, I've been combining a highlighting concealer for birghtness and another concealer for coverage, and it was too much of a hassle. This product saves me one step since its coverage is great and lightens up my undereye area. I don't think the shimmer can be detected at first sight (opposite to the Wake Me Up foundation, which is quite noticeable), it blends really easily without creasing. I use Benefit Powderflage on top, it's the perfect combo.
I haven't had the best of lucks with Revlon mascaras. I only tried one (Fabulash Waterproof) and gated it so much that made me stay away from Revlon mascaras for a while. But since I've heard such good things about this one, I gave it a try. It quickly became my everyday mascara. If you like full lashes with volume (not extremely dramatic though) this is a good pick. It doesn't smudge on my, lasts all day (even on my bottom lashes) after wearing it all day, but it isn't a pain to take off. The brush is quite big, and quite a lot of product comes out of the tube, so there might be some clumping, or lashes sticking to other lashes. I personally don't mind, I quite like that look. It's a great mascara to have around!
I own more eyeshadows than I use, but this is one of my go-to ones. I pair it over 'Vintage Selection' paint pot from MAC, go big or go home, right? I love how sparkly and shimmery it is. Yes, it's really shimmery. The formula is really soft and blends easily. I use a primer, so I don't have issues with staying power or creasing. If you like natural shimmery luminous eyeshadows, you've got to give this a try. I highly recommend checking out their palettes/trios because they always include it in them and it's pretty much possible that you get a better deal than buying it as a single.
This is one of my favorite blushes of all time. Perfect for everyday, or when I don't really know what blush to wear. It's one of my go-to blushes since I don't even have to think about how to apply it or what to pair it with. You only need a tiny bit, it's easy to apply, and it adds a healthy looking flush of color. I don't find it glittery or shimmery, it's more like a sheen (a little less subtle as Coralista). I really don't think it's that noticeable on the skin. From all the Benefit boxed powders, this is by far my favorite. Definitely a staple on my make-up collection.
I became obsessed with this blush after watching a YouTube video and seeing how great it looked. I already owned 'Her blooming cheek' (limited edition from the Tartan Tale collection) which is a powder, but don't use it that often since it's really hard for me to have a light hand with such a pigmented blush. I'm a NC25 (unless I'm tanned) and this gives me a really bright flushed cheeks. If you're having one of those days when your face just looks tired and dull, this will instantly transform it. Since it's really pigmented a little goes a long way. I apply it with my middle finger and blend it with clean middle and ring fingers. If I need extra blending I find using a Mac 188 or similar brush around the edges it's really helpful. It's matte which is a major plus. Since I have oily skin, some powders don't last on my skin all day, but this one has amazing staying powder. I haven't tried any other Cremeblend blushes, but I'm definitely tempted to try some other colors since the formula works so great on my skin. I would stock up on this one if they re-release it!
I've had good experiences with Rimmel mascaras, they're some of my drugstore favorites, and this is no exception. I've tried the 'Extra Lash' version and didn't like it, so I was surprised to see how much I enjoyed this one. This mascara has a nice medium size brush that separates the lashes, adds length, doesn't clump or smudge and I find that even though I didn't get the waterproof version (didn't know if there is one though), it stayed on all day in place. I like my lashes to look feathery and 'winged' at the outer corner, and this mascara is great to achieve that. I would love for it to add a bit more volume, but it's a great product. I like to have a few mascaras on hand at the same time, and I'll definitely be repurchasing this one.
The first times I used it seemed like nothing special, but the more I used it, the more I liked it. It's a great everyday mascara, it adds length, but not so much volume. It doesn't clump, it doesn't smudge on me, it doesn't transfer. The thin brush makes it easy to apply on both top and bottom lashes. As far as the good proprieties it has for your lashes, I still haven't seen results, but I've only been using it on-off for a few weeks. It's a good mascara to have around for natural looking lashes.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter - Cocoa Butter

I hate body lotions that take forever to absorb and you have to wait to get dressed without it sticking to your clothes. Despite of being a body butter, this sink into my skin really quickly, leaving my skin super soft. I used it during the summer and my skin absorbed it faster than a regular lotion. I love the smell, it's delicious, that's why I got it in the first place, but it's a personal thing, they have a few other fragrances. I highly recommend this if you like body butters!
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Physiological Cleansing Gel

I was looking for a simple cleanser I could use after taking off my make-up with a make-up remover. This works great on my oily skin. It takes off the rest of the make-up that's left on my face, leaving it feeling clean and fresh. It smells fresh, like others said, to me it smells like bananas! It isn't an issue for me, the smell goes away once you rinse it off. It's gel based, so it doesn't foam up and works GREAT with the Clarosonic.
Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Soothing Protective Facial Cream

I have oily skin and I've been using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for 2+ years. It works ok during the summertime, but this winter I was feeling that it didn't provide the moisture my skin needed, feeling tight and harsh at the middle of the day. I've tried La Roche-Posay products and I've had good experiences, so while looking for a nice, simple facial moisturizer I bought this. I've only been using it for a week, but it's working great for my skin. It provides the moisture my skin needs, yet it doesn't leave it looking greasy or oily. It's perfect as a winter moisturizer for my combination/oily skin.
Concealers -Revlon - ColorStay Under Eye Concealer

On a everyday basis, I go for a natural look, so I don't wear much foundation. I mainly use this concealer to cover up blemishes on my cheeks, around the nose, and any other imperfection, and it works like a dream. I know it's meant for the under eye area, but it works like a dream like an all-around concealer for me. It doesn't look thick or cakey, it's buildable and it lasts a long time.
One of the worst mascaras I've ever tried. I picked the waterproof version by mistake, but gave it a try anyways because I had heard such good things about this mascara. Like I've read some of you already said, I don't know why this mascara is labeled as waterproof, because when you have it on, it flakes and smudges worse than any other mascara I've ever used, though it doesn't come off easily. If you don't like "dry" mascaras, don't pick this up.This is one of the driest mascaras out there. I originally liked the volume it gave to my lashes, but the fact that it flakes and it goes on weirdly (it doesn't go on in a uniform as I would like), it feels like the brush leaves little clumpy bits of mascara on the lashes -hope that made sense.
This is the best mascara i've came across so far. It's the first mascara i'll be re-buying, ever. If you're looking for a long-lasting (yes, the non-waterproof forumla lasts for hours without smudging or flaking and it's not hard to remove), curling, volumizing mascara, give this one a try. You won't regret it! Even though i will keep trying out new mascaras, this has become my HG mascara. It's just perfect.
