I really wanted to like this product but sadly it turned out to be everything i hoped it wasn't. It's way tooo drying for my combination skin so because of that, i broke out even more on my cheeks! soo horrible! I bought this because i was getting a few pimples near my temples and now it's basically all over my face! i gave it one lippie because i like the color, packaging, and the grapefruit scent... otherwise, i would stay away!! i recommend benzoyl peroxide and that's why i'm going back to proactiv because that stuff actually works.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clean & Clear - Oil free Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

I'm normally not a fan of clean and clear.. i'm only loyal to their oil absorbing sheets but i saw this on the counter and it reminded me of my beloved lancome bi-facil eye makeup remover!! It says it's oil free but it's a 2 phase cleanser with a floating solution on top. It works the same as the lancome to me and the lancome is 5x the price. It leaves a flim on my eye but it takes off ALL makeup and doesn't sting it. Would def buy it again!

This stuff is basically hair spray. Doesn't protect my hair from the heat nor does it activate curls with curling iron. What it does: weighs down my hair, crunches my hair, and makes it look dull and fried. I bought it before reading the reviews.. shame on me. Needless to say, i returned it and purchased Tresemme Thermal Creations Curl Activator based on the reviews here. And that i'm pleased with! it actually does what it claims to do.

Sunscreen -Ombrelle - Face Cream SPF 30

i was using neutrogena dry touch with helioplex until i found out that it contained oxybenzone which can cause deadly skin cancer. So since then i switched to Shiseido extra smooth face cream with spf 38 Pa+++. however, that came with only 50 ml (for $40!!!) so i needed another "velvety" sunscreen for my body. i found this at superstore for $18 (75ml). It was labeled for face but i used it for my body. There's no scent, it went on smooth but did feel greasy. 5 minutes later, it absorbed into my skin and was completely matte (i took 1 lippie off for the 5 min wait). i love it so much i wouldn't mind putting it on my face when my Shisedo runs out. It contains Mexoryl which provides great protection against uvb/uva rays and everyone prefers this over the scary oxybenzone. however, no sunscreen completely shelters you from uv rays so stay out of the sun whenever possible! have a great summer!

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Eyeshadow in General

I got these on sale for $2.99 CAD each! and i'm telling you they should be worth a lot more than that! I got: gleam (pearly iridescent cream/gold), matte white, carbon (matte black), purple, blue, and aura (light pearly purple). All have really good pigmentation and go on my lids really smoothly with the exception of the light purple called aura. It was a bit hard to get the color to show on my skin but it looks so pretty in the pan :( I also got 2 e/s trios when they had the buy one get one free. I got Haute Chocolate and Creme Caramel. Creme Caramel is really satiny and i use it for my everyday makeup. Haute chocolate has 2 matte shadows i believe and that one creates really nice smokey dark brown look. I love the quality and price of Annabelle cosmetics! i'm so glad to have these babies in Canada!!!!

Price : $5.99 CAD (on sale at Rexall canadian drugstore, reg $7.99) Two brushes for $5.99 is dirt cheap! but i only use the little one for putting on shimmery white e/s near my tear duct and the other one i never use because it's too dome shape for depositing color into the crease and it's too dense and small for blending color in the crease. The big one also sheds like crazy which i hate plus the ferrule of brushes came off so i had to glue it back :(. i wouldnt buy this again because it's a bit useless for me.

I bought this on sale for $5.99 CAD at Rexall (Canada Drug store) note: posh and ecotool brushes are so cheap here! it's damn expensive on their official website! I was really disappointed with this brush. i thought it would be a nice dupe for the mac 168 brush but nope, this sheds like crazy and splayed away with the first wash. It scratches my cheeks,leaves fibers behind, and it's NOT dense enough !! Terrible brush. The only good thing a can say about this is that it's pretty cute and dirt cheap (2 lippies). I gave it to my little sister who's just starting with makeup. She doesnt mind it as long as it's free. I still love my sephora angled blush brush a lot more because it doesnt shed and it's a whole lot softer.

Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner - Black

I went to Walmart to get the Wet n Wild eyebrow pencil in Taupe after reading wonderful reviews and i saw this for $6 CAD and decided to buy it for fun. Only comes in black and eggplant (dark purple) and there were only 2 left of each so i thought MUST BE GOOD! I've been using Loreal's liquid liner for years so these creme/ gel liners are very new to me. The brush it came with was way too thick and dense but it was great for my brows! I used Annabelle eyeliner brush to apply this on and it works great! (Annabelle is the best drugstore line in Canada and packaging looks high-end) I was SO IMPRESSED with the liner! it was jet/blackest black i've ever seen with the first stroke! It's also waterproof so it's great for summer when you're splashing around in the pool or just sweating your butt off in the sun. The packaging looks so cheap but whatever, i will def repurchase in a flash! *EDIT: STILL USING IT AND LOVING IT!!!*

Eyes -Rimmel - Eye Twist Automatic Duo Liner & Shadow

I got this as a bonus for free when i purchased Rimmel's volume lash mascara which was totally clumpy. I loved this duo pencil. one side is a cream eyeshadow (champagne color) and the other side is fine brown eyeliner. i use it all the time for work and it looks so natural and pretty. i would def get this again when i run out. :) so great if you're on the go cuz it's compact and 2 in 1!

I got glow (matte white), smokey (grayish brown), and black. I use glow for my waterline when i want to get a bright-eyed look and it glides smoothly and is very pigmented. I actually use Smokey for my eye brows! it's the perfect natural shade and it doesn't smudge. I use black to line the top of my lashline prior to using liquid eye liner. i wouldn't recommend using the black one for the lower lash line because it does smudge. Instead take an angled brush and use a very pigmented black eye shadow to line it! this is a smudge proof technique! For only $1.99 CAD, you can't complain. It's smooth,won't tug, and gets the job done.

Cleansers -Olay - Warming Deep Purifying Cleanser

3 lippies because i like the warming effect.. feels like im getting a nice facial. i find that it goes on hotter when im in the shower but when im using it at the bathroom sink, the warmness only lasts for a few seconds so please! use it in the shower.. you will notice a difference! after using it, my face feels sooo smooth, soft, and conditioned. 1 lippie off because it doesnt clean the make up off my face at all! and another lippie off because it doesnt "purify" or exfoliate anything! i used this after cleansing my face with an affective cleanser (aveeno ultra-calming foaming cleanser) just to condition my skin because i think that is what it truly does. just something to have for fun.. wouldnt buy it again because it cost me $12 CAD at shoppers drug mart.

this is my hg cleanser. it removes ALL traces of make-up from my face... i never come out of the shower with scary mascara eyes. it's gentle and doesnt burn or tightened my skin. It leaves skin clean, smooth, fresh, and supple.. everything a cleanser should do and more! I'm on my 3rd bottle and bought one for my bf who has dry skin and he loves it also. Aveeno products really dont work for me (their toners and moisturizers break me out) but this truly the best of the best.

Toners -Garnier - Fresh Toner

the first toner i ever used was cliniques! freakin insane! i became pizza face after applying it and had to wipe it off! next, i tried garnier pure toner (the blue bottle) and it burned and tightened my skin. then i tried nivea gentle alcohol free toner and loved how it softened my skin but it smelled so strong and i felt like i was putting perfume on my face. the next one was nivea refreshing toner (blue bottle), it had alcohol but it didnt burn me. however this one made me break out in cystic acne. and finally i discovered this, garnier fresh toner. it has a subtle fruity smell that isnt strong and doesnt last long which i like. it contains no alcohol so i dont get stingy or red and it just leaves your face soft and smooth for moisturizing. comes in a 200ml and i got mine for $7 CAD which isnt very bad at all. after applying this, i use Olay fortifying night cream and i wake up with super duper soft clear skin! i cant believe how many bad ones i had to try before this. someone should have told me right off the bat.. could have saved some cash for buying make up.
