Mascara -Max Factor - Masterpiece Mascara

Current favorite mascara--non-clumping, layers and separates well. It says 'volume' and 'definition' in the pack, but I think this works best as a day mascara since it gives just the right amount of 'drama' without looking too made up. One coat on each eye is enough. Also holds curls well, and the thin wand/short bristles also work on my lower lashes. Doesn't smudge, but can still be removed with plain water-based cleanser. Mid-priced mascara, but not too fond of pale gold packaging. Will most likely repurchase, but I also want to try 2000-calorie and False-Lash Effect before I declare this can't-live-without. :)

Lipstick -NARS - Niagara

One of my favorite NARS lipsticks--a very lovely coral for medium-tan skin tones, with the right amount of brightness (not shocking, appropriate for offices :). Doesn't dry my lips, even makes it more supple looking. Finish is great, not too shiny, but definitely makes your whole mouth kissable. People have complained about the smell of NARS lipsticks, old crayons/waxy smell, but I actually don't mind them much, since they only smell that way in the tube. Matte packaging can get grubby, though--but I just tissue off fingerprints/smudges.

Foundations -Shiseido - Sheer Matifying Compact

Such a great foundation! My first foundation ever was the Shiseido Perfect Smoothing (O40), but had to change it since I tanned. I wanted to buy the Supplist owing to great reviews, but it was discontinued, but the SA said that Sheer Mattifying was just the re-branded product, ha. Also it fit in the Perfect compact, so no more repurchase, (seriously, why do they sell it separately...) I got mine in O60, and it works beautifully!--matches and brightens my tone and hides rough patches. I wear this under sunscreen (Neutrogena) and moisturizer (Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer) and the texture is very lovely--never powdery and cakey. Staying power is so-so/decent, but I do live in a VERY humid place. I also sweat a lot (from walking, commuting) and it doesn't budge. Price is expensive, but my previous (gah, pricey) Shiseido was too but it lasted me for a long time, so more bang for your buck.
