Wow, started using this as a moisturizer (face, body) and underarm deodorant, and so far I am impressed! I'm starting to subscribe to the thinking that anything you put on your skin should be something you would eat. I read some good things about coconut oil and, well, so far it is living up to my expectations! I put it on my face and décolleté at night for a deep moisturizing treatment. I swear that I am starting to look younger! My skin is very sensitive and I think this oil has a calming effect. It also has antibacterial properties, which is why I am using it as a deodorant. It seems to be quite effective, and of course has no harmful cancer-causing chemicals! It's still in the trial stage but this may become my new go-to beauty product!

Tinted Moisturizer -Stila - Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer in Shade 1

This is the only thing I put on my face aside from moisturizer. I hate, hate, hate a thick layer of makeup on my skin. My skin tends to have some redness and uneven coloring, so I finally decided that I need something to even out the tone. I went into Sephora and first tried mineral makeup. By the time they put all the layers on, I felt like my face wasn't my own - it looked fake and painted on. I asked the girl what she was wearing, and she showed me this stuff... Perfect! I tried shade 01 and 02. For those who need more coverage, they should try shade 02 (or just try mixing your moisturizer with some foundation and add sparkly stuff for the dewey look). For me, shade 01 is perfect... Very slight coverage to even out tone, and a bit of "dew". It looks very natural, which is my goal with makeup!

Hair -Burt's Bees - baby bee shampoo bar

I was so hopeful for this product because I have been determined to protect my daughter from chemicals as much as possible. BUT, shockingly, when I was rinsing it off one day some of the soap got into her eyes and she cried horribly. It was so painful for her!! I still feel horrible about it for her. But most of all, I will never buy this product again, and I am leery of the Baby Bee line. How could they not test a baby soap for the effect on baby's eyes?!?

Styling Products -Bumble & Bumble - Prep

I just tried this, and it's the best product I've found (Bumble & Bumble or otherwise)!!! I have very fine hair, and when a lot of time has passed between cuts my hair tends to get more and more tangly, to the point of forming dreadlocks! It's always been a battle to detangle my hair. The first time I tried this I sprayed it on my dry, windblown (tangly) hair. I sprayed twice, and I noticed a difference immediately when combing out my hair. So I sprayed all over and I EASILY combed out all my tangles! Anyone with fine hair knows that it is the worst for getting tangled. Combing out those tangles HURTS, and this product made me comb out my hair with ease. I find it expensive, but for me it is worth the price. Hopefully a bottle will last me a while. Right now I have mini trial size, but I will be buying the full size very soon.

Conditioner -Terax - Crema

Basically, this is my favourite conditioner. Expensive? Yes. But it works so well that I won't compromise. I have fine, blonde hair. I sometimes have problems with products that either affect my hair colour (buildup), or just weigh it down because it's so fine. This is one product that doesn't weigh it down, and actually seems to repair my fine hair. If I use the wrong product (shampoo or otherwise), my hair seems to tangle and weave itself into dreadlocks. This product actually repairs the damage, de-tangles, and returns my hair to its natural beautiful state! It's amazing! I occasionally stray to try other conditioners, but I always come back to this one. One tip: I leave it on as long as I can, and work it into my tangles during my shower. The more it penetrates, the better it works. I think it works especially well for chemically treated hair.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - The Vert - Green Tea

I am known to fall in love with a scent, and right now I've found love... ! There is something about this scent that makes me feel very sexy, like a woman. It also reminds me of my honeymoon in Italy. Somehow it combines a sexy scent with a clean feeling - this is new to me. I really love it!!! I can't stop smelling myself. The packaging leaves something to be desired for the price (the spray cap came off yesterday), but it does not smell cheap. I'm a fan :)
