I'm really enjoying this soap. It lathers up nicely, smells terrific and is so adorable it makes me happy in the shower. The thing I like best is the terrific scent while I'm washing but then it fades so that I can apply perfume when I'm leaving the house and the two scents don't fight each other. Was fun shopping the boutique that has all the different bars and they hand cut for you and wrap like a wonderful gift. Totally fun!

Lotions/ Creams -Avon - Moisture Therapy Hand Cream

What a bargain! This is not a lotion for the faint of heart :) If you are having a dry skin problem this is the best lotion I have ever found though. It is heavy, but it does the job. My hands were so dry this winter my cuticles would not stop cracking. WOW what a terrific lotion for such a cheap price!

Fragrances -Creed - Love in White

I've never tried any of the Creed scents and made the mistake of trying to read about the different perfumes they offer and choose that way. Decided to order "Love in White" and first I should say it is a lovely scent. There isn't the least bit of that cheap smell I pick up from so many of todays perfumes. It stays true and it lasts. It just is too bright a scent for me. I prefer something a tad sweeter. I can see why they say several presidents wives wear it. Its a clean, pretty smell with no sex appeal.

Primer/ Corrector -Merle Norman - Foundation Primer

Goes on like silk and makes my make-up look better. When I first bought it I thought I probably would never buy again because of the price. (didn't ask the price when buying with other items.) Now, I cannot live without it. Doesn't bother my very sensitive skin either.

Powder -Merle Norman - Luxiva Purely Mineral Makeup

I had been wearing Bare Escentuals for a few years, but there isn't anywhere in my hometown to buy it, and one day in desperation I stopped at the Merle Norman store. SOOO glad I did! I had tried other mineral make-up but never liked any as well as B.E. Well, this is even better. Just slightly more coverage and the glimmer seems to hide lines a tad better. Most liquid foundations give me bumpy skin but this make-up doesn't at all.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Lancome Juicy Tubes

Nice color but very goopy. If you want a gloss that stays on for a very long time you might like this but for me it feels too heavy. I would rather keep my gloss in my pocket and re-apply. Also, it seems pricey.

Fragrances -Hugo Boss - Hugo - Pure Purple

I liked this scent after testing it in the store and wearing it while shopping or a few hours. Most perfumes just dont agree with my body chemistry but Purple stayed true to the scent. For that reason and because it didnt smell too old or too young, I bought it. Its a soft, sweet smell and it is nice but just not that memorable.

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

Love love love the stuff. I even finish with this when I use other foundations. I prefer the illumination mineral veil as it gives a bit of a youthul look to my over 40 dull skin.

This is a heavy coverage but I really like it for an evening foundation. It evens out my freckled/splotchy skin better than any other foundation I have ever tried...and believe me I've tried a lot! It does look heavy under florescent lighting so I don't wear it to work. Still, I really like this product for when I want to look my best!

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

This is my favorite foundation for everyday. I have freckled/splotchy skin and most foundations show up horribly me. This is a light coverage and it doesnt look like your wearing make-up at all. I do have to follow up with the mineral veil and I prefer the illuminating as it adds a more youthful/dewy look. Bottom line...love it!

Powder -Maybelline - Mineral Power Powder Foundation

Tried this hoping to find a product similar to my my favorite everyday foundation-Bare Minerals. Wasn't even close. Settles into my wrinkles and made them look worse. Not for me :(

Beautiful scent!! Unfortunately, I am one of those people who has a very hard time wearing perfume. My body chemistry tends to turn everything powdery or chemical smelling right away. I was very happy to find this rich,sweet,warm scent that I can actually wear and doesn't smell too old or too young. I have enjoyed it all fall and winter and am now tring to find something a tad lighter or more floral for spring and summer. I wish our local fragrance store carried the Lolita frarances so that I could try them all. I found this gem at TJMaxx and bought it on a whim and got lucky!

Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Exact Eyelights

I really hope Cover Girl continues this product. I've tried every eyeliner from $5-$25 and this is my favorite now that I'm over 40. Used it in the Black Pearl, with the matching mascara, on my brown eyes. Definitely noticed a brighter, younger look to my eyes. Very happy!

I bought the Black Pearl color for my brown eyes. I defintely noticed a brighter look and pop to my eyes. I did use the matching eyeliner as well so maybe its the combination that makes this work , as I see a lot of reviewer didn't have the same results. I am over 40 and its harder to achieve a bright eyed look now as I have to watch frosts that accentuate age lines. I have tried every mascara from $5-$25. I loved this product and hope it doesn't get discontinued!
