Deodorants -Dove - Clear Tone Skin Renew Anti-Perspirant Deodorant

The label claims it lasts 48h. Don't know about that, but I can go a whole day in the heat and humidity without starting to stink. Dove Clear Tone lasts longer and feels less sticky than the Sensitive one, even though they have the same concentration of active ingredients. The fragrance is a little odd, Sheer Touch, kind of like a floral dept store perfume (no fruit). I live in the humid SE so a deo that lasts 8-10h is a welcome change. I have had no irritation applying after shaving. I couldn't say if my underarms are more even-toned but I am so happy with this formula it doesn't matter.

Sunscreen -Cerave - Body Lotion SPF 50

It has a faint smell from the ingredients that's first tinny then like yogurt, no added fragrance. It should only be noticeable when you apply. The Face version comes in a smaller tube and has niacinamide. The Body Lotion does not, and the ingredients are identical otherwise, which is why I chose it. UPDATE: It is now hotter and more humid and this ss leaves a ghostly white cast and shifts around, I took off 3 stars. Maybe OK for very pale people, NW10 and lighter, who are not oily and who don't sweat a lot.

Mascara -Rimmel - The Max Bold Curves

So far, I'm happy with this mascara. It added a little bit of length and stayed put, and it's not too dark a black for me. It gave a bit of lasting curl. Believeable and didn't irritate my eyes, and that's all I need from a mascara. This does make your lashes stick together sometimes, so I have reduced my rating to a 3.

I got a teensy dab as a sample and while the texture is a lovely gel-cream it didn't do anything for me but leave me with some irritation the next day.

A warm red! Pretty brick red (red with a touch of brown) for those of us who don't look good in blue-reds. NC15. The only thing I don't like is the fragrance, it's kind of strange and fruity.

I picked this up for $3. The color I got is Praline, a kind of nude rosey color. I think it might be too dry by itself, but over lip balm it's perfect. This gives you a lot of pigment.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

I had high expectations but it didn't do anything dramatic to my lashes, just made them nice and black. No curl, no volume, and I don't think it added any length. It's only smudged a bit on a humid day with a nap. It's also allergy season and it hasn't irritated my eyes, so that's a plus. The curve of the "spoon" brush fits my lashes nicely, although I'm not used to such a soft brush. I doubt I would buy it again. removed a lippie because it did end up irritating my eyes. I returned it.

I got the 2012 formula from Pharmamundi, see tubotica.com for the ingredient differences, this version contains no titanium dioxide and comes in a 100ml or 300ml tube. The PPD is 34. I got a box intended for sale in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. It also has Braille on the side, very cool! I tried it on my hands, when tend to be dry, it went on white and then dried clear with a fairly clean finish. It doesn't have any added fragrance but the scent reminds me of most US Neutrogenas with helioplex. I did have some tingling which could be from the ethylhexyl salicylate, the only ingredient on the list that might bother me. I haven't tried it on my face yet but there isn't anything in the first 10 ingredients that is likely to clog. I need to test it for irritancy and sweat-resistance. It says water resistant on the package but it did come off easily with soap and water. Hopefully it lives up to its claim. Definitely more testing needed.

This is a lightly moisturizing serum with antioxidants that absorbs quickly. Contains no clogging silicones or waxes and is fragrance-free. The form of C in it, MAP, is stable, and it also has teprenone and ubiquinone. After using this my skin is calm, even-toned and comfortable. Can be used at night or in daytime under ss.

Sunscreen -Silk Naturals - Sheer Zinc Powder

This is a powder meant to give some sun protection, though it has no SPF rating. Contains 25% coated zinc oxide and 25% titanium dioxide. The titanium dioxide gives it a slightly chalky texture, so it isn't completely sheer. It is heavy enough that you can feel it on your skin. I would prefer a product that only has the coated zinc oxide as an active. It's fairly comfortable on skin but doesn't spread as easily as I would like, and when I got too much on one part of my face I had a very stubborn white streak there. It also gets into the air as you work with it, which isn't great since you're probably breathing it in. A pressed powder ss might work better.

This color is described as a shimmery peachy-pink by SN, but I found it shaded more of a bright Barbidoll-pink on me, I don't see the peach on my lips. This would be fine on cooler complexions or those MUAers who like pink-pink lipstick. The formula is moisturizing, more like a balm, and the pigmentation is closer to a lipstick than a gloss. It comes in a slim lip-balm type tube. I really like the base of this, it isn't sticky, I would just prefer it in a different color. Luckily you can send in lippie colors you don't like back to SN for credit.

I like the moisturizing base of this lipstick, but this color is so dark it requires precision application and a matte-r formula. I would use a lip liner, because the naturals oils in the base can cause the lip color to migrate, and this is one color people will notice if it's not done perfectly. You don't want that "strawberry jam" or "clown" look. For the same reason I would powder through a tissue to increase the lasting power. The oil base also means that the lipstick nearest your mouth disappears first, which is not an attractive look. But if you can apply it perfectly, it is a dramatic deep red-plum color. SN describes this a MAC Brick-o-la clone. It comes in a slim lip-balm like tube.

The Green Tea & Aloe Serum is ideal for oily skin - it adds no moisture but is also free of typically clogging ing like silicones and waxes. It dries quickly, I was able to apply my ss (Bioderma MAX Fluide 50) less than a minute later. There was no interaction between the two products - no balling up and my ss went over it smoothly. I don't like to use too many layers of product because my skin can get so oily, but this serum didn't feel like I added a layer. It felt like water but less drying. Dry skins would probably not like this product unless applying a moisturizer immediately on top. This is very reasonably priced and is a good choice in antioxidants.

Mascara -Revlon - Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara

I have pollen allergies which makes my eyes very sensitive, I am pleased to say I had no irritation with this product. Unfortunately all it did was darken my lashes - no thickening or lengthening. It did not smudge or flake all day, it gets points for wear. It comes with an enormous brush and dries very quickly. I got it in regular Black and the color was nice and dark. Edited 11/24/11 - Now that some time has passed I am getting the fibers included in the product and they definitely lengthen and thicken, just not evenly. But the look is more dramatic than it was initially, I guess I wasn't getting the fibers on the wand when I first opened and used it. I have added a lippie since it does make my lashes look really good. Added 6/23/12 - repurchased
