Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush Duo - Love Rock (Grand Duos Coll.)
rated 5 of 5

This is one of the prettiest blushes from MAC. I luckily got from an awesome swapper for my NARS deep throat, so I think we both got a nice deal. Love Rock is an LE mineralize blush, one side a blue-toned shimmery pink, while the other side if a marble of gold, violet, and pink shimmers. I like to use the violet side as a highlight sometimes, but both sides are amazing. Love Love Love.

I love Addict2, it smells very fresh and girly, slightly sweet. I wore it continuously during the summer and got lots of compliments from my bf. I love the pink bottle, and the name. Perfect for summer and spring.

Cleansers -Earth Science - A-D-E Creamy Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 2/25/2010 12:32:00 AM

I love this cleanser. It was recommended by an SA at a natural herb/health shop, for dry skin. I love that it contains fruit oils, is natural, and smells mildly nice. My face always feels really clean after I wash w/this, and it doesn't dry out my winter skin. I also love the pump bottle.

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #28 Smudge and Line Brush
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 2/24/2010 10:22:00 PM

I've had this brush for 2 years, and it is still perfect! I bought it to apply the bronze smudge pot, and it is my fav brush now to apply eyeliner. It works with liquid liner, powders, shadows, gel, pencils, it really is worth it to buy this. Like another review said, the only problem is storing it.

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre Lipstick - Pretty Please
rated 4 of 5
snakehips 2/13/2010 12:59:00 AM

Pretty Please is a sweet light pink frosty shade. Very pretty, matches well with my cool skin tone. The formula is lustre I believe, which is also nice. Best to apply lip balm before wearing this one, as it is very light pink, and could accentuate dryness. Not too bad though. I would recommend to anyone who loves frosty/pink/dreamy colours on their lips. Good for achieving a mod look, too, if that's something you like. Sweet scent and packaging, as always.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Creme d'Nude
rated 3 of 5
snakehips 2/13/2010 12:52:00 AM

I love the cremesheen formula, and had really hoped to love this shade..but it was too orange on me. That is the case with nearly every nude lippie I've tried. I suppose my skin tone is just too much on the cool side for most of them? Oh well. At least I didn't waste very much money, that is one great thing about MAC. :D And I always love the scent and packaging.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Guava Lip Butter
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 12/15/2009 10:12:00 PM

I have super dry lips, and in the winter it's impossible to find a product that keeps them soft and un-flaky. This balm does a good job though. Lately it's the only thing I've been using, everything else I apply is either worthless or just makes my lips worse. Lip butter texture is so nice and smooth. I love the scent. It is really rich and mositurizing, even though it doesn't last a very long time. I like it enough to keep applying. I like that Korres uses natural ingredients in their products. I'm not happy with the pot container, but I can deal with it. Also, $9 is an annoying price for the tiny amount you get.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Lust
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 10/20/2009 3:02:00 AM

Lust is the perfect MLBB shade on me. Very toned down brown pink. No shimmer. Adds just the right amount of color to my lips, and the stickiness makes it last forever. Plus I like the name. :D I would probably repurchase if I happened to run out. I highly recommend if your looking for a MLBB gloss, but of course try it on first.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Prrr
rated 4 of 5
snakehips 10/20/2009 2:53:00 AM

I bought this without really thinking about it so much. I like the name of this shade a lot, and I'm a sucker for packaging. So..I like it! It's a really pretty peacky pink shade with lovely frost. The frost is what I was most excited about. ♥ But when I put it on my lips, the frost disappeared altogether. Then my lips were coated in a boring, opaque-ish peach/pink, which is not bad, by any means, but I wanted the beautiful frost to stay. Oh well. I'm still content with what I have, it still looks pretty, and there are many other shades to try. :D

Lip Gloss -MAC - Sugarrimmed Dazzleglass
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 10/20/2009 1:59:00 AM

I was lemming this dazzleglass forever before I finally bought it. And I love it just as much as I thought I would, although I wish it was maybe a little more pigmented. I was hoping for like a more white-ish cast on my lips, I guess. But it is beautiful, and stays on forever. Seriously sticky, but I don't mind at all. It keeps my lips moisturized, and this is a huge plus. I am a lip balm junkie, and this works better than many that I've tried, even though that's not what it is for. My tube seemed about only 75% full when I bought it, but I think that is common. Overall I would repurchase, maybe try a different shade though. For some reason, I left my tube in my bag while I was in class one day, and when I went to get it, the lid had melted?! I still cannot figure out what happened...it was quite overcast and chilly that day, so no sun. Has this happened to anyone else??

Lip Gloss -MAC - Plushglass - Posh It Up
rated 5 of 5
snakehips 9/26/2009 4:20:00 PM

I like this lip gloss. The formula is so much better to me than regular MAC lip glasses, it feels less sticky and my lips feel healthier after it starts to wear off. The color is a pretty pink with a gold sheen. Almost like MLBB. The smell put me off, it isn't nice. Doesn't make my lips plumper, but I didn't buy it for that really.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass in Love Nectar
rated 4 of 5
snakehips 9/26/2009 4:09:00 PM

I really wanted to like this, after seeing it look so nice on other people and in the tube.Plus I like the name. But it doesn't show up on me, just makes my lips shiny and sticky, with glitter. Maybe too shiny. But that is why it's called Lustreglass. :) Still a nice gloss, just not on pigmented lips I suppose.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Posietint
rated 4 of 5
snakehips 9/26/2009 4:05:00 PM

Posietint is a nice blush/lip stain. I use it more as a blush, I don't like how it looks on my lips, plus it doesn't last very well there. It's fairly easy to apply and blend on the apples of the cheeks, and dries to a pretty, fresh pink color. It's thicker than Benetint, so it's easier to blend and not have streaks. It creates a lovely, natural looking flush. I don't like the packaging.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
rated 2 of 5
snakehips 9/26/2009 3:59:00 PM

I was disappointed with this foundation. I bought NW15, the lightest shade for my skin tone, and it was way too dark/yellow when I put it on. It felt too thin and greasy for my liking, and didn't offer enough coverage. After applying one layer, I didn't see any improvement, and certainly didn't want to apply any more. I really wanted to like it though.

Powder -Laura Mercier - Mineral Powder SPF 15
rated 3 of 5
snakehips 9/26/2009 3:54:00 PM

I bought this after deciding that mineral makeup is my only chance for wearing foundation, and this seemed like my best bet. It was hard to find a match for my fair skin, one seemed too yellow, the other too dark and pink toned. I think I went with the dark/pink one. I wore it for a while in the summer, then got tired of my foundatin not matching. I didn't really like the coverage, I had to use lots of powder. I used a primer under mine, otherwise it didn't go on smoothly. I liked the packaging, but overall, I wouldn't buy again. Other mineral makeup is less expensive and feels better on my skin.
